"We are staying in Grindelwald for a couple of days and we spent one night in this hotel. The location is a bit far away from the train station and it’s exhausting to carry heavy luggage over the slopes between station and hotel. The price is reasonable and the balcony view of Eiger is stunning. The hotel looks quite old where no ventilation system can be found in washroom. Wi-Fi signal is poor and we were unable to connect it in the room. We appreciate the breakfast as the food quality is good but seems the number of staff is limited. They are required to work in the reception for check in/out enquiries and at the same time busy rushing to the breakfast area to clean up the tables and food."

"Jingmei, the service is very good, but the bed is too soft, and it is a big bed made of two single beds. It would be perfect if these two problems can be solved."

"If you like the mountains and the views, it's great. The service is excellent and the reception treatment is very pleasant. "The hotel is uphill at the other end of grindelwald, not too close to Grindelwald station and Coop, fortunately the door is bus 121, 122, 123, but at first I saw Google map that it was a 15-minute walk from the train station only, but I knew it was quite hard to push luggage up the slope  Fortunately, it is close to Pfingstegg and First cable car stations, and Jungfrau must either take bus 121, 123 or train to Grindelwald Terminal station, change to the Eiger Cable car, or go to Grindelwald station and take the Train to Kleine Scheidegg Although I live up to 4/F, the room has no air conditioning, so insects have entered the room🫨 But the scenery is beautiful, the room is big, the worst thing is no refrigerator, can only cook the noodles in the room Breakfast itself thought there was very little food, but you can order hot drink and egg separately, which is quite good Although seeing hotel restaurant dinner seems to be praised by many people, but too expensive, the cheapest is the 4-course menu d fine din, have to over CHF100"

"The room is spacious with a great view. we checked in late at around 10pm, so the host left the instructions and keys at the front desk for us to collect. However upon checked in we found the heaters in the room did not work, so it was very cold for the first night and there was no front desk we can ask about it. The heater was switched on the next day but it was still not as warm as expected. This can be troublesome during winter time."

"The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and helpful! Everyone wore a smile as they greeted us. The location is great and the view of the mountains is unbeatable. Will definitely be staying here again on our trip back! Shuttle service is super convenient (Joao was great and unmatched driver) getting to and from hotel/station."

"Grindelwald Train Station is less than a minute's walk away. The room is very clean and comfortable. You can open three large suitcases (and put them under the bed frame after opening). The windows in the room are large and a small fan is provided, so you don't have to worry about stuffiness when sleeping in summer. Breakfast is a classic continental breakfast, and the food is replenished very quickly. The staff is constantly walking around clearing the tables and checking the supply. Mainly because I don’t feel too happy eating breakfast while looking at the mountain view! The staff is also very friendly and enthusiastically recommends nearby hiking routes. I will still recommend staying here next time I visit. "
