Although the hotel could use some updates for sure! Our toilet wobbled and would sound like it was going to break, it did not! The bed was comfortable but creaky! View was nice. The only thing I really didn’t like was after I got back home I had a charge pending on my credit card for $58. So I called the hotel to find out what this charge was for. They said parking! I was never once told that there would be a fee for parking, not when I booked nor when I checked in or out. Would not stay here again. Btw the hotel is pet friendly but the beach is not.. no pets on the beach. And the only place for them to potty is a tiny grassy section between two hotels. It worked but I think if I ever came back it would be back to renting a house!

Although we had a nice view, this was not the most comfortable stay. We were met with dirty bedding and a clogged toilet. We will not stay at this location again.

The hotel was nice, it was located on the beach with direct access. Bed was comfortable. I know we could have asked for additional towels, and we only stayed 1 night, but I was surprised to only have 1 towel each. All in all a good place to stay.

Before I give you a PROS and CONs of Hilton Garden Inn @ Orange Beach. I would like to shout out and thank Veronica @ front desk for making our stay a 5 star experience and we’ll definitely be coming back again in the future.
PROS:
-When we first arrived on our first night for check in, we got checked into the 2nd floor and noticed our carpet was really wet due to not being dried in time because the hotel spot cleans and usually they put an industrial fan to dry it. We let Veronica know at front desk about the situation and she immediately transferred us to a different room. She put us in the 6th floor room that happened to have a better view than 2nd floor and obviously the carpet was dry and normal.
- Room was Clean
- Water was Hot
- They have Shampoo/Body/Hand Soap, I would like to note the ones they provided were actually quite fancy and probably the best ones I’ve seen in any other hotel. They were all full size and not the mini ones so if you happen to not bring any of that you would be totally fine.
- Heated Swimming Pool
- 2 Hot Tubs
- Walk way to the beach was efficient and well maintained. It was easy access.
- Yes, you do get towels despite what other reviews say.. I would like to add on that if you happen to see house keeping on your floor while they are working, they are really nice hard working people and when we asked for extra towels, they gave them to us without making it a hassle.

We had an issue which we brought to the attention of the staff. They were excellent in their efforts to resolve the problem. We were totally pleased with the final outcome. Bridget was especially helpful to us in the resolution of the problem.

Overall everything was great, except there was a mix up over a beach view room and a beachfront room. I reserved a beachfront room and we were put in a beach view room for two days until they could get us in a beachfront room. The staff was very nice and did all they could to make things right. They gave us free parking and breakfast for those days we couldn’t get in the room.

This hotel is well used and worn. The soap dispenser in the shower was missing. Discovered this after I was already in the shower. I had to use shampoo to bathe. The towels were coarse not soft. They need replacing. The duvet kept coming off the comforter. The curtains were coming off the hooks. This room was not to quality I’ve experienced in the past at this hotel. Especially for the price. Also the breakfast buffet is not worth $18 and the hostesses expect a tip. I’ve been staying here for 10 years. Time to move on.
