Classic, very nostalgic. we had very warm stay there. Old school still ageless and priceless. Location is unbearable, walk out… there u go, the beautiful lake, 西湖. Above all, the breakfast buffet was simply wonderful. We were craving for western breakfast after so many local dishes. We enjoyed it so much, had it in al fresco way, with breezy chilly open air. Soft sun shining down on us and the foods. Still vivid the memory even after so long coming home. The only suggestion is to improve the afternoon tea. Must get to the same par with the breakfast.

A beautiful new landmark on the West Lake - Shuizhixinju This time we stayed in the newly upgraded ”Shui Zhixinju” in the East Building of Shangri-La Hotel Hangzhou, which is a perfect living experience by the West Lake! I was very satisfied with the experience. The decoration of the hotel is very exquisite. The room is a lake view room on the fifth floor, from which you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of West Lake, especially on the rooftop terrace. The panoramic view of West Lake at night is intoxicating. The hotel's breakfast has a wide variety of dishes, mainly ordered, and each one is delicious. Especially the afternoon tea enjoyed in the herb garden brings a peaceful and relaxing experience. The smart home system is perfectly integrated with oriental charm. The softness of the bedding can be adjusted using the iPad at the head of the bed, and there is also a special relaxation mode. In addition, the 24-hour gym and full set of Technogym equipment are comparable to professional fitness centers. There are many complete equipments and the facilities are very good, which can meet various fitness needs. I would like to especially thank Rico from the front office, Carl from the rehabilitation center, and the Private Travel Ambassador Jinxiu. I was deeply impressed by their enthusiasm and professional service. It was truly meticulous care. The place is very beautiful and quiet. The breakfast is delicious and overwhelmingly in varieties. It is the best breakfast we ever had during traveling in Hangzhou.

The hotel service exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed with a beautiful surprise birthday cake in our room after a tiring day outdoors. Their kind gesture really touched our hearts deeply as there was also a handwritten note by their staff who wrote very warm wishes and sweet words to us. Our room was cleaned everyday and the fridge refilled with drinks for us daily by the nice housekeepers. The restaurant and front desk and lobby staff were very helpful and friendly as well. Love the location lots as it is at the foot of a serene hill and away from the main road yet within walking distance to the lake. The room amenities provided were definitely of good quality. We stayed on the 2nd floor and sometimes there would be people walking outdoors but the noise and lack of privacy was easily overcome by closing our windows and curtains. The restaurant has limited space but we enjoyed sharing a table and chatting with other guests during breakfast. There were many convenience stores along the main road too. The only downside staying here was that most taxi or car hire drivers wanted to drop us off outside Qixialing Road which is very narrow so we had to keep assuring the drivers that there was ample space to turn their vehicles around at the hotel entrance Thank you 时光漫步S酒店西湖. You really made our 1st visit to China extremely nice and memorable!

Spending this week at Huabei Hotel is like a dream journey. Every detail is just right and leaves a deep impression. We booked the room through Ctrip. Before we checked in, we were deeply impressed by the communication with the front desk lady Zhang Xinyu in advance. Whether it is daytime or late at night, seeing their tall figures, my heart is full of security. Especially Master Li Hongchang, he is so enthusiastic and helps with all his heart. The hotel's catering is even better. The breakfast is rich and varied, from Chinese hot porridge and buns to Western bread and milk, which meet the taste needs of different people. The breakfast chef Jia's cakes are so delicious. The hotel's ingredients are fresh and the cooking techniques are exquisite. Every bite brings the ultimate enjoyment of the taste buds. The chef's grasp of the heat and seasoning is just right, which makes people have endless aftertaste. The environment of the hotel is as beautiful as a painting. The geographical location is very superior. It is located on the bank of West Lake, which is very convenient for travel. The garden is shaded by green trees, lush flowers and plants, and the air is fresh and pleasant. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, the layout is warm and elegant, the furniture is neatly arranged, and the decoration is ingenious. Sister Zhang Hong'e of the housekeeping department is very meticulous in the room hygiene and treats us very warmly. It's really like family. We love how the homestay was situated in a quiet and pretty tree-lined neighbourhood with a 15 mins walk to the edge of west lake. We booked the tatami room. Room was clean and tidy, and the tv comes with many Chinese channels. The owner was very approachable and attended to our needs and frequently gave us travel tips. When night falls, it may be a bit hard to find eateries around.

Excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed. Enjoyed our stay. Great hotel.

This hotel is with less than 10 minutes walking from the subway station. The hotels is deviated in two building and the building I stayed in had no elevator. The cleaning of the room was not so good, still lot of hairs on the floor. TThe price is good but the rooms are really small, but it’s okey for what you pay, many other places is way more expensive. Even though the room was small the bathroom was big and the pressure in the shower was really good!! I would come back again!

The service was good and all the facilities are available here. But it was hard to find a store to eat here as a foreigner, no street food. We were roaming outside looking for a shop to get something, but it turned out to be hard to get something. The hotel is clean and the reception is also good. I had no problem with the hotel staff, they were understanding and cooperative. The room is good according to the price and the amenities in the room are also good quality. So in the end I'll say it's highly recommended.
