I was upgraded to a bigger room upon arrival, which was a very pleasant surprise. The room was large and well-designed, with a clean, modern feel and a soft bed. The hotel was stylish throughout and felt very new.
The service was excellent; staff were polite and attentive during our brief interactions. The breakfast was good quality as well, offering the typical international and Chinese options, but at a slightly higher standard than the other Hangzhou hotels I've stayed in previously.
Location-wise, you need to consider what you want. My grasp of the local geography isn't great, but I got the feeling it was a little far away from some of the more popular spots in Hangzhou, although that wasn't an issue for me and I was easily able to get a Didi to and from the hotel. The hotel is also nestled in a fantastic little area, surrounded by numerous restaurants of all different types, so finding a good dinner was very easy.
Unfortunately, I was lazy and didn't check out the gym, so I cant comment on that!
I don't normally write reviews, but I enjoyed my stay and thought they deserved a positive reviews as a result.

Beyond the hustle and bustle of Hangzhou, the Bai Long Tan Scenic Area and Xishan National Forest Park are truly gifts from nature! Not only do they offer lush mountains and clear waters, but also a stunning series of waterfalls, where you can experience the grandeur of “water flowing down three thousand feet.” Especially after rain, the waterfalls sparkle like crystal under the sunlight, and the spring water is cool and sweet—perfect for bringing back to Guanshan Guesthouse to brew a cup of tea. Walking across the suspension bridge and overlooking Qinglongtan, the misty atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairytale.
This is also a great place for family interaction and relaxation! Children can get up close to raccoons and peacocks, and the daily peacock release at 10:30 and 13:30 is truly breathtaking as the peacocks descend from the sky. You can also interact with the shy yet curious parrots, feeding them by hand and experiencing the wonders of nature.
Additionally, the peacock release performance happens at 10:30 and 13:30 daily—don't miss it! There is a coffee and tea shop within the park, and nearby Longmenkan Village offers authentic local cuisine. If you have time, the Guangming Temple Reservoir and Shangchengdai Village are also worth visiting, making it a perfect day trip. Here, you can escape the city's noise, get closer to nature, and relax with your family.

Very good hotel. I also stayed at Mehao Lizhi when I went to Xi'an before. Now it is very cost-effective to travel in the off-season. The restaurant buffet is also very suitable for the taste, light but tasty, not greasy or salty. The room is comfortable and the service is good. It is only a 30-minute walk to Longshezui Wharf of Xixi Wetland Park. It is also close to Hangzhou, and it is convenient to take a taxi, bus or subway. Next time I will choose Mehao Lizhi.

Transportation: The hotel is located near the entrance of Zhoujia Village in Xixi Wetland. The location is very convenient. You can walk to the cruise ship terminal from the hotel entrance, which takes about 20 minutes. We took a taxi from the wildlife park to the hotel. There was no traffic jam on the road. It was very convenient to call a taxi here.
Environment: The natural air and environment of Xixi Wetland are excellent. There are squirrels freely shuttling in the trees, birds singing and flowers blooming. Compared with the hotels located in the commercial street, I still prefer this place. There is also Impression City across the road, but I didn’t go there this time.
Service: The most impressive thing here is that the service is very considerate, which makes people feel particularly kind. The staff will greet enthusiastically and proactively, and there is also a meal delivery service. Even the accommodation will call one day in advance to inform that there are children and prepare children’s products in advance. I am very touched! There are also small gifts when staying, and they are also given when checking out. It is full of sincerity!
Accommodation: Very spacious, simple, and very clean everywhere. The minimalist and luxurious decoration makes people feel that the space is large and bright. The items are very easy to use, and the complexity is simplified. The bathtub is very large, and disposable bath sets and bath salts are prepared. There are also steam eye masks and earplugs by the bed. The details are very thoughtful! There are also welcome fruits, and the accommodation experience is great! The dining environment is also very warm, and the food is also very exquisite!
Next time I come to Xixi, I will choose Huajiantang!

The hotel is located in the free area of Xixi Wetland, very quiet, very suitable for a relaxing vacation.
The hotel is equipped with an electric parking lot, which is very convenient. You can ask the housekeeper to help arrange a car to pick you up at the scenic spot or the gate. You can also help to arrange a rowing boat. You can get on the boat from the hotel. The price is 388 per hour, which is the same as the price in the park.
The staff in the hotel are very polite, and the housekeeper Yulia is also very meticulous. On the day of check-in, she will add WeChat to ask if there is anything you need. The room is in a cool style and has a large space. Hangzhou has been cold these days. Fortunately, the warm wind in the room is warm enough. It is also equipped with a warm baby and a blanket. The night bed service is also very considerate. It prepares water for taking medicine, fruit snacks, and makeup removal towels, etc. The bath is equipped with the Oulong series, which tastes good, and the hair dryer is also Dyson~
The hotel breakfast is semi-self-service, with six sets and a self-selection area. The ingredients are very good, with avocado, cherry tomatoes, and vegetable juice. The good impression is improved! The set meal recommends small wontons and chicken soup noodles, which are very fresh~ The waitresses in the restaurant are also very enthusiastic!
The only downside is that the TV in the room is not up to standard, although I don't watch it now. The bedding should be improved. The mattress, bed sheet and pillowcase are all relatively hard.
Overall, this hotel is highly recommended. If you are coming to Xixi for a vacation like me, I believe this is a good choice for charging!

I went to Xixi Wetland on the fifth day of the year and booked the Atour Hotel. The experience of staying here was generally very good.
The hotel has free parking and a buffet breakfast. There are not many breakfast categories but it is exquisite and clean.
The room is large and the facilities are very new. The only fly in the ointment is that the sound insulation is not very good. The sound of dragging the stool upstairs at night is too noisy to sleep.

UUntamedFootprintsThe hotel is located quite close to subway station, about 5-10 min walk.
The two bedside table lights can’t be individually controlled. When one is switched on, the other switch on as well. It’s inconvenient when one wishes to sleep and the other wishes to read.
The window (on the window panel) can’t be closed. The traffic noise can be heard constantly.
The room is warm. So in order to sleep, the heater must be switched off. Then the cold seeps into the room and it becomes too cold.
The highest few floors (of the hotel) are commercial offices. Hotel guests not only have to share the lift with them, but also we the hotel staff. I suspect that there aren’t any cargo or staff elevators. This is extremely inconvenient when you wish to use the elevators during office peak hours.
Breakfast is on the 15th floor. The food is average but soy milk is nice.
The toilet bowl is heated and auto-flush. Nice. There’s also a user-friendly control panel which works well.
The shower cubicle has two floor traps. So the water flow is fast. Very good.
GGuest UserOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024. We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting. We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in. I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops. Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us. Not a soul was in sight. Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed. From there on, however, things only got better and better. So, yes, this was a quiet property. There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about. But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected. And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient. During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out. The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand. Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance. The layout was a bit of a labyrinth. There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display. Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake. The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards. Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?). They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night. There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater. Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds. Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace. Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel. Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular. We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip). We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable. In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area. In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort. We were very comfortable during our short stay. We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff. We would love to return. It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions. Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)
JJiafeimaomamaAdvantages: 1. The garden design is first-class. When I checked in, the osmanthus and Daphne koreana were in full bloom. The courtyard was filled with a strong woody aroma, and I could feel the Chinese romance with my nose. 2. Li Yonggen, the master who drove the battery car, was warm and thoughtful, and he had a live map of Xixi. Originally, he asked us to take us to the North Gate Pier. After knowing that we were going to see the sea of plum blossoms, he immediately asked us to adjust the route. The battery car drove to Gaozhuang Meilin Road, where there were large tracts of fragrant snow. After entering the ticket gate, we were at the plum blossom viewing center: Qushui Xunmei, Xixi Meishu, etc. It was so exciting! Disadvantages: The biggest problem of this trip was the front desk who added WeChat the day before check-in (note: not the housekeeper. It was very unexpected) 1. Asked the first question: the plum blossom viewing route. Informed to take a rowing boat at the North Gate Pier. I don't do much strategy when I stay in luxury hotels, because I can always get effective information from the housekeeper. This time I ignored the difference between the housekeeper and the front desk, and almost missed the sea of flowers. Fortunately, I met Master Li Yonggen and corrected the mistake in time, so I didn't have any regrets. 2. Ask the second question: self-driving parking. The parking lot location was not provided proactively. It was sent only after I asked at noon on the day of check-in; strangely, the license plate number was not asked for registration. I was worried that I couldn't park. After all, it was the plum blossom season. I confirmed again and replied ”Don't worry”. When I arrived at the entrance of Xixi, the traffic police blocked the road and didn't let me enter or park. I was stunned. I turned on my phone again and found that a WeChat text was sent at 13:24, informing the control that the car should be driven to the north gate. I was driving, how could I check WeChat? Can't I use the phone to notify? CarPlay can answer the phone! And the car can't drive to the north gate at all. I contacted the main desk again and said to drive to the north gate 2. Parking is also not allowed at the north gate 2, which caused the traffic police and the main desk to use my phone to talk a lot before they successfully negotiated and drove to the subway station to meet the hotel staff. I have never been so tired staying in a hotel! In the past, when I stayed in a hotel worth thousands of yuan and encountered a temporary road closure, the housekeeper could quickly send the pass to the mobile phone, and then call the staff to inform them that they were waiting on the roadside to coordinate with the traffic police. Since the hotel is already ranked among the top 100 luxury hotels in China, and Xixi in Hangzhou often closes roads, how could there be no plan to deal with such incidents? Lack of management. 3. When booking a room, there is a free travel photo shoot, and you will meet the photographer in the lobby after breakfast. During breakfast, I thought the area around the restaurant was beautiful, and wanted the front desk to notify the photographer to go directly to the restaurant. As a result, the front desk replied, ”Travel photos cannot be taken in public areas. Can I help you take photos in the hotel yard?” I was stunned again. I could only take photos in the small yard of my room? I called directly and explained that it was not the restaurant outside, but the outdoor yard and water platform of the hotel restaurant. The front desk insisted, ”Yes, you can't take photos.” Fortunately, the photographer called in at this time and said that it was okay to take photos! I hung up the phone and was still worried, so I asked the restaurant staff, and they also said that it was okay to take photos, and emphasized that the water platform was very photogenic. What is the front desk doing? 4. The outdoor pool in the room was not clean (not referring to fallen leaves, it is normal for lush plants to have fallen leaves), and there was obvious dirt on the pool wall. After checking in, I asked for cleaning, and the person who came seemed to be a leader. He took a spray bottle and a small brush to do it. It was tiring and hard work, but it should be done before checking in! 5. The floor tiles in the washroom were obviously dirty, and the toiletries were much rougher than those in other hotels of the same price. In short, this is a hotel with both advantages and disadvantages. The high score is because Master Li Yonggen always considers the guests and strives to make guests feel at home.
GGuest UserWe came to Hangzhou in the season when maple leaves are at their red. My husband and I chose the Shusheng Xunzhen No. 1 Courtyard, which is not far from Lingyin Temple. The housekeeper was warm and thoughtful. The room was very artistic, just what we liked. The breakfast buffet had a lot of varieties. You can take pictures of very beautiful red maples in the hotel courtyard. There is also beautiful scenery not far away. We northerners were amazed. When checking out, the housekeeper also gave us souvenirs, bracelets and the God of Wealth. Who can refuse such a wonderful gift? Thank you for your thoughtful and warm service. We will see you again, for sure.
GGuest UserThe front desk service was very enthusiastic. It was a very satisfactory stay. I had a particularly good impression of the front desk attendant Smile. The room was quite large, the transportation was convenient, and it was close to the subway entrance. I will stay here again next time [Happy]
AAnonymous UserBreakfast was lousy, nothing much to eat. Room is small and the wall is dusty despite it being just cleaned before we checked in. Need to wait very long for hot water at the basin tap in the morning. Bathing area water pressure is not strong enough. Staff at concierge makes us pay more for adjacent rooms and did not offer free upgrade unlike other hotels. Only good point about the hotel is we can request for free items such as mosquito repellent and eye masks, and they are delivered by the robot. If the items are not available, there is no follow up from the staff. There is smart toilet bowl. Location is near railway station but not near train station.
OOTAVOUCHERSI had the pleasure of staying at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou recently, and my experience exceeded all expectations. Whether you are traveling for business or leisure, this hotel offers an outstanding combination of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. Below, I’ll provide a detailed breakdown of my experience, from the check-in process to the room quality, dining options, and other facilities.
1. Location – Perfect for Exploring Hangzhou
The location of the hotel is undoubtedly one of its biggest advantages. Situated just a few minutes' walk from the famous West Lake, it is incredibly convenient for those wanting to explore one of China’s most scenic attractions. The proximity to West Lake makes it easy to take early morning or evening walks along the picturesque waterfront, which I found very calming. Additionally, the hotel is close to several popular shopping streets, including Hubin Road, where you can find both luxury brands and local shops. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, giving guests many dining options beyond the hotel itself.
2. Warm and Efficient Check-in Process
From the moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The lobby is spacious, elegant, and well-lit, giving off a luxurious yet comfortable vibe. Check-in was smooth and quick, with the front desk staff offering a welcome drink upon arrival. I appreciated their professionalism—they spoke fluent English and were well-prepared to answer all my questions about nearby attractions and transportation options. One thing that stood out was their attentiveness; they noticed I had traveled a long way and offered to expedite my check-in, which was a thoughtful touch.
3. Spacious and Well-Appointed Rooms
The room I stayed in was a deluxe double with a partial view of West Lake. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows and high-quality linens that made it hard to get up in the morning! The room also had a large flat-screen TV, a work desk, and a cozy seating area by the window. The view from my room, although not directly facing the lake, still offered a lovely glimpse of the surrounding cityscape and greenery.
One feature I particularly appreciated was the bathroom, which was clean, modern, and well-equipped with both a bathtub and a rainfall shower. The hotel provided premium toiletries and fluffy towels, which added a touch of luxury to the experience. The housekeeping service was impeccable—my room was always spotless, and they replenished water bottles and amenities daily without me needing to ask.
4. Dining – A Great Variety of Options
The dining experience at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou was truly impressive. The hotel’s main restaurant offers a large breakfast buffet that caters to both Western and Chinese tastes. I enjoyed starting my day with a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and Chinese dim sum. They also had made-to-order noodle and omelet stations, which was a great touch. The food quality was excellent, and the service during breakfast was attentive, with staff regularly refilling coffee and tea without being asked.
In addition to the breakfast buffet, the hotel offers several dining options throughout the day. I dined at their Chinese restaurant one evening, which specializes in Hangzhou cuisine. The dishes were authentic and flavorful—definitely a highlight of my trip. I recommend trying the local specialty, Dongpo Pork, which was cooked to perfection. Room service was also available 24/7, and I tried it once when I returned late from sightseeing. The food was delivered promptly, and the quality was on par with the restaurant meals.
GGuest UserOakwood Residence Hangzhou has exceeded every expectation, offering an unparalleled stay that truly feels like a second home. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and comfort enveloped us, making our visit a delightful escape.
The apartment is simply breathtaking, with a fully equipped kitchen that boasts every utensil and appliance needed for a self-catering experience. The spaciousness of the living area and bedrooms is remarkable, allowing us to unwind and relax in true luxury. The inclusion of a washing machine was an unexpected bonus, making our stay even more convenient and homely.
The cherry on top? The in-house restaurant serves up a steak that is nothing short of fabulous. Every bite was a culinary delight, perfectly cooked to our preference and served with impeccable service.
Without a doubt, Oakwood Residence Hangzhou has set the benchmark for exceptional hospitality. We are already planning our next visit, eager to relive the magic of this extraordinary home away from home. Highly recommended to anyone seeking a blend of luxury, comfort, and that 'just like home' feeling.
FFeige198211I have been staying at the hotel for a few days, and there is a very inconvenient thing. The hotel does not have a self-service washing machine and dryer! Very inconvenient for business travelers! I remember that when I stayed at Jinjiang Inn hotels in other cities before, they all had them! I often come to Hangzhou for business trips. If not, it is really inconvenient. If possible, please ask the hotel to consider the actual needs of the residents and solve it! I hope to come to the check-in machine later and have a self-service washing machine and dryer! ! ! In addition, it is recommended to replace the hotel slippers with plastic slippers with holes in the bottom. The slippers provided in the hotel are Jinjiang's products for many years! As thin as paper! Jinjiang has always said that after so many generations of product upgrades, what is their use? The basic problems are not solved! ! ! It’s useless to upgrade for another 100 generations! ! !

GGuest UserEnvironment: Located in a small village in Lijilong Mountain, there is an independent parking lot for self-driving, which is free, and there are slow charging piles, 1.6 yuan per kilowatt-hour, which is new energy friendly
Facilities: There is an outdoor small swimming pool, which is not big overall, suitable for children. The village is full of tea gardens, suitable for casual walks, and there is a shared space on the first floor for quiet sitting
Service: Both the parking command guy and the restaurant chef are very enthusiastic, especially the front desk Cui. We came late, she also helped us check in and took us to the door of the room, and arranged breakfast for the children, which was very thoughtful
There is a tea village below the village, and there is a green tea nearby, which are all popular restaurants. It is also okay to walk to Lingyin Temple, which is faster than the traffic jam during the holidays
