Harbin is truly beautiful in spring, and my stay at the Habsburg Hotel made the experience even more delightful. The room was well-furnished and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need. The staff, who were consistently friendly and helpful, thoughtfully provided tips on little note cards, adding a personal touch to the experience. Every detail was carefully considered. The hotel offers a lounge, a gym, and a convenient self-service laundry area. The staff, always well-dressed and attentive, regularly checked in to ask about my stay and travel plans. Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight, featuring an array of local specialties. Jenny and Air were especially friendly and helpful during breakfast, offering travel tips and introducing me to local dishes. The hotel’s location is excellent, being very close to the metro and the main shopping street, Zhong Yang Da Jie. This area, the most historically significant part of town, is perfect for exploration and discovery. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros:  Very helpful reception staff. Especially Yuyue and Jiaqi. It is not 100% certain that my spelling is correct since they do not speak English (along with the rest of the staff at this 5 star hotel in a city of more than 10 million people). Comfortable beds and decent pillows. Clean bathrooms. We had a free upgrade - see Cons! Cons: ”Non-smoking” room is a joke. The guests DO smoke everywhere. There are a lot of fabrics used in the rooms for the decoration, and smoke penetrates them to a great extent. In order to find a room with decent air quality, we had to change our rooms twice. See Pros! There was only a very limited selection of biscuits and fruits available for the advertised ”luxurious afternoon tea.”.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, housed in a stunning Russian-style building and furnished with such care and elegance. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the service was excellent—friendly and attentive. The breakfast and afternoon tea spreads were impressive, with so many delicious options to enjoy. The location is also unbeatable, right between a busy shopping street and a lively breakfast street market, which made exploring super convenient. What touched me the most was the little extras from the staff. They prepared a lovely gift bag with sweets and confectionery, and another bag of cut fruits for us to take on the road when we checked out. These thoughtful gestures made the stay feel even more special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Overall this is one of the best hotels i have stayed in. Rich cultural history and uniqueness. I shall put the negative part first before I put the positives at the end. Cleanliness I marked down because someone before me put flowers into the bathtub and there were random roses petals coming out of the knob that controlled the drainage of the bath tub. There were stains on the bathtub too. Location I put 5 but actually I would rate it 4.5. The street that the hotel is on is extremely crowded and jam in the late mornings to night. It is highly likely that you will be dropped off near the entrance of the street and need to walk in if you cab. We decided to use public transport and walk in instead on the second time we came to the hotel. But early in the morning it was relatively empty and the cab could come in to pick us up. It is very near the walking streets / zhong yang jie. There was an event literally outside our hotel area. Got a chimney bread plus ice cream on the same street as the hotel but is diagonally on the opposite right. This booking is for a lower tired room. But when we went there we were offered discounted upgrades. Not free but at least it wasn't the price stated. We upgraded to the highest tier, a suite with dedicated sitting area and bathtub. Celebrated my birthday here. They prepared a cake. It was delicious 😋 Many costumes to try but most were too big. For reference i am 152cm 48kg. I managed to find a blue and white costume with a matching hat that was more fitting so I could wear it out of the hotel room to take photos in the reception area. The toilet staircase, the chairs in the reception, outside the elevator, a backyard and the restaurant are nice places for photo taking. The ancient elevator closes at 5pm. I am not sure when it opens. The restaurant had a promotion on dianping or douyin. Recommended for 4 people. But portions are typically huge and if only 2 people come likely to waste. We met another couple on our trip and we decided to share. Non hotel guests can eat in the restaurant too. Just before we left, we had a door gift too^^

The reading lounge in the room was a lovely addition, allowing us to enjoy some quiet reading time. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The check-in staff were friendly and willing to assist us with any inquiries or requests we had. The helpfulness and courteousness made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. Convenient Location: The hotel's location was truly advantageous, as it was within walking distance of Zhongyang Street, which is known as Asia's longest pedestrian street. This central location allowed us to easily explore and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Harbin. The inclusion of breakfast buffet and afternoon tea was a delightful addition to our stay. The hotel offered a decent selection of food during both meals, ensuring that we had a satisfying start to our day and a pleasant afternoon treat. Staff at the restaurant were always attentive and ready to assist us. They provided excellent service and ensured that our dining experience was enjoyable. Their attentiveness added an extra touch of warmth and hospitality to our meals. City Tour Arrangements: We were pleased to discover that the hotel had a local tour arranger at the lobby near the reception area. Ms. Tong Tong, the tour arranger, proved to be extremely helpful in organizing a private car for our city tour. She ensured that our preferences were taken into account and made valuable suggestions for places to explore. Professional and Polite Driver: Our driver for the city tour, Mr. Gwu MiAn, was exceptional in his professionalism and attentiveness. He took us to the places we wanted to visit and made sure we were comfortable throughout the journey. His kind and polite demeanor, coupled with his provision of water to keep us hydrated, added an extra level of comfort to our city tour. Overall, our stay at was memorable and enjoyable. The spacious rooms, clean bathroom, helpful check-in staff, convenient location, inclusion of breakfast buffet and afternoon tea with decent selections, and the attentive restaurant staff all contributed to a positive experience. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Harbin and seeking a comfortable and convenient stay.

The hotel’s location is excellent, with Subway Line 2 right outside, making it easy to reach Snow and Ice World, Central Street, and other attractions. The breakfast was decent and very convenient, especially in the extreme cold when going out for food would have been tiring. The room was comfortable enough for a good rest, and the lobby had a grand and impressive design. Overall, a great choice for a stay, especially for those visiting in winter!

The staff who helped me with the check in process after midnight was very kind and friendly. I was happy with the attentiveness from the staff even though it was a late night check in. The room was surprisingly nice and the view of the lobby was amazing. Upon checking out, the staff was very helpful, especially Miss Leona, who assisted me with the luggage. Overall, I had such a pleasant at this place and would come back to stay at this place again.

Very nice rooms and good breakfast. Location a little in the middle of new town construction sites. The mall 10 mins walk away is great for shopping and restaurants. The hotel restaurant only offered breakfast but it was ok to order deliveries in. Hotel is slightly weird in that it’s also seems to be a neo natal staycation hotel with many nurses and families members hanging out in corridors at all times of night. Main issue with the rooms was that they were 28 degrees C and there was no way to cool them down slightly to be able to sleep well. Opening the windows didn’t help and the hotel aircon was understandably set to heating the room - maybe something they can think about. Nice hotel and a good stay- just didn’t sleep well.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located 3 mins walk from Central Street, making it easy to explore the heart of Harbin. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, note that the road is one-way, which can result in a longer taxi ride. Room: My room was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed. I appreciated the complimentary fruit, milk, and mini souvenirs provided upon arrival. Service: The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any requests, even in the middle of the night. I am very grateful for their help, especially at 3 AM.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location. It is not far from the Central Street of the railway station by taxi, and it is only two minutes away from the subway entrance. It is very convenient. The restaurant is a buffet style restaurant with a wide range of dishes, including Western and Chinese, to satisfy all tastes. The waiter Song Chunyong was very enthusiastic in his service and introduced me to the surrounding attractions and routes. I am very grateful! The room was also very clean and tidy. Will continue to stay here when I come to Harbin.
