"Although we stayed in a basement room this time, the Smart Choice King Room we booked was surprisingly well-lit and very spacious. It was impeccably clean every day, completely odor-free, and the bathroom had excellent water pressure. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly friendly and welcoming, contributing to a truly great travel experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Shangzhi Metro Station, less than a 5-minute walk away. It's also within easy walking distance of major attractions like Central Street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and Daoli Market. For dining convenience, there's a convenience store and a noodle shop right outside the entrance. Harbin in August boasts clear blue skies, with comfortably cool and refreshing weather, making it perfect for sightseeing."

"For our first trip to Harbin, we chose this Wanda Hotel based on reviews and recommendations found on Ctrip. The hotel boasts an excellent location, and the service was truly outstanding. Staff proactively assisted us with our luggage and other needs, and we were even given a complimentary upgrade to a family room. The breakfast spread was absolutely lavish. Our room was clean, comfortable, bright, and spotless. We were offered complimentary afternoon tea, which we sadly didn't have time to enjoy. Our child loves playing the piano, and the hotel made an exception by allowing them to use the grand piano in the lobby. Our child was absolutely thrilled and played a few of their favorite tunes. Overall, our stay was incredibly comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Harbin and will wholeheartedly recommend it to our friends! "Facilities: The facilities are genuinely very old and run-down. ▶ The TV is digital, only showing regular channels, but it relies on an internet connection. The Wi-Fi speed is atrocious, causing TV programs to constantly buffer. The network is unsecured (no password), which is concerning, but the speed is so poor that it's practically unusable anyway. Talk about adding insult to injury, haha! ▶ The showerhead in the cubicle faces the door, and the glass door leaks significantly. It's a disaster every time you shower. This seems like a minor issue that could easily be fixed with a simple sealing strip! ▶ The remote control batteries were dead, and it wasn't due to being too far away. (Though, with the TV situation, it hardly matters, haha). ▶ Food delivery is left at the elevator entrance downstairs for self-pickup. However, the elevators don't require a key card to operate, meaning anyone can go up. So, what's the logic behind not delivering food directly to the room? ▶ The air conditioning unit displayed 'dust full', clearly needing a cleaning. It was incredibly noisy; even on the lowest setting, there was a constant, low-frequency humming and vibration. ▶ Could I simply not use the AC? No, because the room has no windows (which I knew beforehand), making it incredibly stuffy and hot. ▶ The cumulative effect on my sleep was a musty smell from the duvet, and I woke up with a pounding headache. ▶ Poor soundproofing is a critical flaw; earplugs are absolutely useless here. The room door rattles, you can clearly hear toilets flushing in other rooms, and given the number of elderly guests, there were several instances of men clearing their throats loudly early in the morning... which, I guess, you can't really complain about 🤷🏻‍♀️. Self-service Afternoon Tea: A few pots of tea in the ground floor lobby, some candies, and small packets of snacks only available in the mahjong room—how does that even qualify as 'afternoon tea'? Couldn't they at least offer a few individually wrapped pastries or even the cheapest cherry tomatoes? Service: Absolutely fantastic! This hotel, despite its shortcomings, boasts such genuinely kind and friendly service with constant smiles. Because of their excellent service, I genuinely struggled to give a truly low rating. However, good attitude alone, unfortunately, doesn't compensate for a consistently poor living experience. They really need to fix things, especially considering it's still ranked fourth among high-end hotels."

"The location is absolutely superb, right on Central Street, making it perfect for an evening stroll every day. It's also very close to the subway station and super easy to find. There are tons of great food options nearby, and the hotel's breakfast is pretty good too, so you'll never run out of dining choices. We booked a family room this time, and for such a prime and valuable location, the room was surprisingly spacious. The interior facilities are brand new, featuring smart home amenities, which made for a fantastic stay. A special shout-out goes to the front desk team – the young ladies and gentlemen. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly, and quite charming to boot!"

"Nice clean hotel. Very good airport shuttle service . Room was small but everything was spotless. Had a small problem with foot massager not working, but the front desk agent addressed the issue. Traditional breakfast was tasty and very reasonably priced. If you need a clean place to stay that is close to the airport, this hotel works fine. Obviously there were some minor language differences, but our host was very accommodating and helpful. Visa card was accepted , but if you wish to use cash, please have the correct currency as there are very limited currency exchange . Overall, this nice little hotel served our purposes just fine for an overnight stay close to the airport."

"My room has an amazing view of the river which is especially beautiful at night. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Everyone from the front desk, the door men, the executive lounge staff and the housekeeping staff were very pleasant. I appreciate Fo Xiu who went up to my room to understand my concerns because of the language barrier. My only complaint was that I ordered room service. I ordered steak and soup but there was no dinner plate included. It was difficult to cut the steak in the tiny sizzling plate it was served on. I appreciate the male staff who brought my order to my room. That said, everything else was fantastic. My wishlist is to have a full length mirror inside the room. When I visit the Harbin again, I will stay here."

"The room was clean, and housekeeping was prompt. All the in-room appliances were in good working order, and the bathroom, especially the shower, was spotless. The hotel is conveniently located near Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral. Right next door, there's also a wholesale market for clothes and bags, offering good quality at very reasonable prices. As expected from a 7 Days Inn, the experience is consistently reliable across the country."

"It was like a dream of Paris; I absolutely loved this hotel! As my child said, this hotel is even more beautiful than those in Paris! The front desk staff, Zhao Yihan, was charming and incredibly kind, professionally assisting us with a swift check-in. The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, much to the delight of both the seniors and children in our group. Breakfast was superb, truly exceeding five-star quality. The dishes were exquisite and thoughtfully prepared, cleverly incorporating local Northeastern specialties; they even served freshly made Guobaorou directly to our table! The afternoon tea was exceptional, with a wonderfully refined ambiance that brought us immense joy! The hotel's location was ideal, a tranquil oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle, with Central Street just a 50-meter walk away. Every staff member was warm and genuine, making our experience truly delightful. Lizzy Hotel set the perfect tone for our first impression of Harbin – a perfect 10/10! We'll certainly be back if we get the chance!"

"This hotel is amazing - location is perfect for both railway and metro plus lots of great shops and restaurants around it. I used the free shuttle and it was seamless - so well organised ! Then my brother needed extra room last minute and amazingly they got him one even though he arrived very late Room has tea and coffee and everything needed Staff were extremely helpful.. answering questions promptly before and when I arrived Finally, the absolute star comes because they found my lost sunglasses ! Wow! No one ever has handed things back when lost at a hotel It was easy to find the location once I got there- key is it’s 17th floor Super close to metro making exploration easy Price was outstanding value"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to both the high-speed train station and the subway. Upon check-in, our initial room had a noticeable odor. The front desk staff immediately offered a complimentary upgrade to a family suite, which my child absolutely adored! Every staff member's service attitude was exceptional. Their warmth and helpfulness made me almost hesitant to mention any minor cleanliness imperfections! One particular short-haired lady stood out; her service was truly heartwarming, and she looked after us like family, even remembering our preferences and details. There's a supermarket, pharmacy, and mall conveniently located downstairs. What's even more incredible is that I ordered a pair of shoes after 11 PM, and they were delivered right to my room! Simply unbelievable! Traveling solo with a child, this level of convenience was absolutely invaluable!"
