"We had a thoroughly pleasant and memorable four-night stay at the Harbin Habsburg Hotel. Our family room was incredibly spacious, and the facilities were top-notch, including the convenience of free laundry. The breakfast variety is impressive, especially with the extended service until 12:00 PM. Location was great too. 10 mins walk to central street. The standout of our trip, however, was the staff—specifically the F&B Manager, Jenny Huang. She is a true asset to the hotel which she went above and beyond her service to hotel guess. After my son experienced a nosebleed due to the dry weather on our first day, Jenny remembered and took the time to personally check on his well-being. Knowing we had a 6:00 AM flight, she even proactively arranged a 'grab-and-go' breakfast for our family of four. Her attention to detail and genuine care for guests are remarkable."

On my last day in Harbin, I was sent off by a heavy snowfall! 🎬 The video of the snow falling outside the hotel entrance will forever be my most romantic memory of this city. I chose a hotel near the airport for convenience, but unexpectedly, I found so much warmth there. The service from the people of Harbin is truly exceptional – warm, attentive, and welcoming. "The room was warm enough despite the temperature outside is freezing cold at lowest -27 during our stay. They said there is only 1 family suite each floor, so the view with St Sophia Cathedral is guaranteed. There is 1 bed right after the entrance (i call it the living room with bed), and another 1 bed inside the bedroom. There is only 1 toilet / shower room - which is at the living room. There is no table or coffee table to eat together with family. The room overall has plenty of space but lack of proper furnitures."

"I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Giving it a good review because: 1. The front desk service was genuinely excellent. Out of the 27 nights we spent in hotels during our trip to China, spanning Chengdu, Chongqing, Zhangjiajie, Changsha, Harbin, Yanji, Changbaishan, and Xuegu, I honestly think this hotel had the best front desk service! Every staff member at the front desk was fantastic. If I could, I'd write down all their names. When we checked in, the front desk staff (whose names I didn't get) helped me carry my luggage (which was very heavy). When we checked out, Ms. Guo also proactively helped me with my luggage. The service was excellent. Ms. Yan at the front desk was also very good. Auntie Yan, who handled the cleaning, provided great service; she was always friendly, greeting us and asking how we were. 2. The room was spacious and had a sofa, making it very comfortable and convenient. The hot shower was also very relaxing. 3. On my floor, there were two washing machines and two dryers, which was very convenient for doing laundry. There are many places to eat downstairs. Recommendation: There's a ”Nanjing Soup Dumpling Noodle Restaurant” nearby. The name of the shop is Yuan Xiang Ju (please see the pictures for the exact name). The owner is very friendly, and the food is delicious and affordable. They have soup dumplings, noodles, and more."

"The service was excellent, very polite, and they answered all our questions. The room was around 20-30 square meters, which I found spacious enough for just the two of us. After a day out, it was great to come back and relax with a bath. The room was clean, equipped with a humidifier, a coffee machine, and complimentary drinks. That humidifier was a lifesaver at night; otherwise, it would have been too dry. What stood out most was the comfortable room temperature. At our previous hotel, the room was easily 30°C, making it unbearably hot even with the windows open, while it was -20°C outside. Such a drastic temperature difference makes it very easy to catch a cold. When booking a hotel, always ask if they have a humidifier, what the indoor temperature is, and if it's adjustable. I can't stress this enough – it's crucial. If I had to pick one thing I disliked, it would be the scent of the shower gel – I really couldn't stand it, it was quite unpleasant. I'd suggest switching to something with a nicer fragrance. I forgot if our king-size room had a bathtub or not, but everything else was the same. We had some time before our flight, so we booked a hourly room to get some sleep. Facilities: All available Hygiene: Clean Environment: Good Service: Excellent"

"I mainly booked this hotel for its great location, very close to St. Sophia Cathedral, and not too far from Central Street and the Red Brick Morning Market (I walked there). The room was indeed small, and the facilities weren't new. However, the lobby always offered hot tea, which was incredibly convenient. Upon check-in, I received fruit and a welcome gift, and there was also a souvenir when checking out. Overall, it exceeded my expectations."

"Traveling to Harbin, I first stayed near Central Avenue on the first day, and then chose this hotel for the second day. I have to say, the service was absolutely amazing! The lovely female staff patiently explained everything and greeted us with big smiles; they were truly enthusiastic. They even reimbursed us for parking at the hotel across the street, and when we left, they gave us a little 'Hermes' bag, haha! Their warmth made us feel a bit embarrassed in the best way."

Stepping out, the main entrance of Central Street is just about a 100-meter walk to your left, and the airport shuttle bus stop is conveniently located to your right, making it incredibly easy to get around. There's also a charming, quiet market nearby. For breakfast, you don't even need to bother with the famous Hongzhuan Morning Market; this local farmers' market offers a wonderful, authentic vibe and is mostly frequented by residents from the surrounding area. While the room wasn't large, it was cleverly designed and spotlessly clean. The powerful shower was a particular highlight – it was by far the most comfortable and refreshing wash I've had during my entire trip across Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia these past few days."

"The hotel is right at the entrance of Central Avenue, so the location is excellent – attractions are right outside the door. The subway is also nearby, and it's easy to hail a taxi. The breakfast was very generous, with a wide variety of dishes. I stayed on the 13th floor, and it was very warm, in a great spot, and I slept comfortably. Bottled water was plentiful on the floor. The staff also had a good attitude. Although it's a bit pricey, I highly recommend it."

MM1s3n3ckn****This was my first time visiting Xuegu with my mom, and we stayed at this inn. The environment was great, with a strong Northeastern charm. The owners provided excellent service. The next day, when we went to Wusong Ridge to play in the snow, the owner accompanied us the whole time, taking photos and even teaching us how to ski for free. If we had gone on our own, hiring an instructor at the ski resort would have cost several hundred yuan. The owner was very patient and professional with the photos, allowing me to fully enjoy myself. There were also evening activities at the inn, where the owner would film a 'water splashing into ice' video for us for free, a service that costs money in Xuexiang. We even bought Wuchang rice from them. Overall, I highly recommend this inn for anyone visiting Xuegu. I've already recommended it to my family and friends.

Only way to make your room colder is to open the window. 🥘 Breakfast is not diversify. Only Chinese cuisine is available. With mostly pork for the main ingredient. The underfloor heating works exceptionally well; even when it's dozens of degrees below zero outside, the room remains warm as spring. The guesthouse offers a free breakfast with a rich variety of porridge, steamed buns, eggs, and pickles, providing a balanced and nutritious start to the day. GGuest UserHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

Not only was the check-in process efficient and well-organized, but they also kindly upgraded our room for free. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The hotel's location is excellent, right on Central Street, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The room was very clean and quiet, and the bathroom was spacious. The housekeeping staff were also very responsible. AAnonymous UserI’ll start with the highlight of our stay: the ski rental team at Yabuloni Hotel. Since rentals are included in the stay, we spent a fair amount of time with them, and they are truly world-class. Led by a charming and compassionate boss, the team of four （photo attached) is incredibly professional and approachable. They don’t just hand you gear; they perform thorough safety checks, ensure a perfect fit, and offer genuine tips for the slopes. They made our trip seamless and safe. They will be the reason why we will come back and stay here Unfortunately, the hotel itself doesn't live up to that same standard. The hallways are dimly lit and poorly ventilated, a theme that continues into the rooms. The biggest issue was the bathroom, a persistent, foul sewage smell made us feel like we are using a public toilet that has not been cleaned for years. If this is 5 star standard, i'm afraid they have to do much much better. To top it off, the reception staff felt poorly trained. Despite having plenty of people behind the desk, no one could answer basic questions about local attractions, slope openings, or even help us arrange a driver for dinner around the area. For the price point, they should think of how they can justify their service other than having a world class and helpful ski rental management team.
