This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is excellent, right near a charming specialty street with tons of delicious food options. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the soft water was a delightful surprise. The breakfast was incredibly refined and truly stunning. The staff were warm and their smiles were like a spring breeze, making us feel very comfortable. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance!

The hotel's decor style is very new and different from the older Holiday Inn Express, perhaps they've updated their product line. The front desk lady quietly upgraded our room type, and the room was very characteristic of Northeast China, haha. It's spacious and very clean, with not a single water stain on the faucets or showerhead, which made my OCD very happy. It's a shame we had to switch hotels later to go elsewhere, otherwise, I would have definitely stayed here longer. Breakfast was also very rich. Thumbs up!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Central Street. There's a bus stop right outside and a subway station nearby, making getting around very convenient. It's only a 10-minute taxi ride to Harbin Station, and there are many attractions in the vicinity, so it's easy to get anywhere. The room facilities are also great and very comprehensive. The front desk service was exceptional and very welcoming. The hotel even offers afternoon tea, which is a lovely touch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance to visit Harbin.

Everything was perfect! The hotel is in a great location just next to the pedestrian street with many shops and street shows. The staff was amazing and happy to answer questions and help. The furniture in the room was new, very clean; the only thing was missing was a room fridge, so if it’s important to you, choose a different place to stay. Overall, great stay and we’re happy to come back!

It's also very close to the subway and bus stations, making travel very convenient! The overall environment is clean and tidy. The common areas are well-maintained and comfortable, and the rooms have good natural light and ventilation. It's quiet, not noisy, ensuring a great night's sleep. The daily afternoon tea is such a lifesaver for families with kids who stay in the hotel during the day! The kids absolutely loved it! The breakfast spread was also extensive! And having unlimited Madieer ice cream was an unexpected delightful surprise! The aunts and uncles at the restaurant became friends with my child, who now says they'll definitely be back in winter! The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Central Street. There's a supermarket right next door downstairs, which is super convenient for grabbing snacks and drinks. The hotel lobby is very clean, and the front desk staff are warm and welcoming. They even upgraded my room, which was clean, spacious, very hygienic, and comfortable. The soundproofing was quite good, the vanity was spotless, and the shower had a great wet/dry separation. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Harbin.

Facilities: The room layout was pretty good, and the interior was clean. The location was excellent. The breakfast was very plentiful and good value for money at 48 yuan per person, which isn't expensive at all. However, the window in our 7th-floor room, while a bright window, had a horizontal partition outside, blocking the view. The outdoor platform also wasn't aesthetically pleasing, with leftover construction debris and cobwebs. Make sure to choose a room close to the elevator. There's only one elevator on the entire floor. They were responsive to requests for anything we needed, so why didn't I give a full five stars for service? Because I booked a room for my companion that was listed as 30 sq.m. on the order, but was actually only 29 sq.m. This wasn't something we measured; the front desk staff confirmed the size of room 766. The hotel was argumentative about it, refused to admit fault, and offered no compensation. This was unsatisfactory. Although Ctrip stepped in to resolve the issue, it left a bad impression. It felt like they were short-changing us.

Great location with a spacious parking lot. The staff were very welcoming and responsive. I accidentally booked the wrong dates, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating the change. The hotel is right next to a ski resort, and they even offered free skiing passes for the whole family, which was a nice bonus!

The room was pretty good, although the facilities weren't brand new, and a couple of power outlets weren't working perfectly. The cleanliness was excellent, and all the staff members had a great attitude. We could store our luggage for free both before and after check-in. When we arrived, we even got a complimentary upgrade to a suite! It was a truly comfortable stay! P.S. One of the front desk ladies looked and sounded a lot like Chui Na Li Sha, haha!

What's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night? The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view. The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please. This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret. It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place? Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.
