"We have stayed at a lot of hotels on our trip this summer and this is by far the nicest. I cannot express how comfortable the beds are and how beautiful the room and everything else is. I knew it would probably be nice because it's a ******, but I couldn't imagine how Nice it would be. It feels so luxurious. It's such a nice place to wind up a drive down through the redwoods, which is also one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life. I cannot believe that our cheapest hotel of the trip is also the absolute best."

BbandabacksWe have stayed at a lot of hotels on our trip this summer and this is by far the nicest. I cannot express how comfortable the beds are and how beautiful the room and everything else is. I knew it would probably be nice because it's a ******, but I couldn't imagine how Nice it would be. It feels so luxurious. It's such a nice place to wind up a drive down through the redwoods, which is also one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life. AAnonymous UserThe facilities are relatively old. It's OK to rest for one night on the way. After all, the surrounding areas are like this and there are not many options. Fortunately, it is quiet, clean and comfortable. You can't expect more. The hotel seems to have a hot spring swimming pool. I didn't experience it if I stayed for one night on the way. The breakfast is just okay for Chinese taste. Fortunately, there are many supermarkets and restaurants around

GGuest UserThere’s a noticeable gap in the door, allowing light from the hallway to shine into the room. Additionally, the room is located near the pool, which remains noisy at night and affects rest. I also ordered two bottles of water by phone, but they were never delivered.

GGuest UserThis is a unique experience. Built in 1922, this historic inn has hosted three U.S. presidents and many actors, sports stars, and politicians. Their pictures are on the walls. The original opening of this inn corresponds with the completion of the highway which allowed access to this redwood studded part of California. There are three old time telephone booths in the huge lobby and many displays of days gone by. Completely renovated, the bed is comfortable, the television large, and breakfast free, even if your booking says that you must pay extra. TIP: If you come in winter, set your room temperature to 75 degrees (70 degrees does not really reach 70 degrees).

GGreg E.The staff and service at this hotel were great. I really appreciate it them and what they try to do. My only complaint was the carpet was a little bit dirty in the room. And there seems to be a lot of homelessness in the neighborhood of this hotel and the ones near it. That's not something they can help and in fact they're being compassionate I think with the people which I think is great. But it does make you feel a little unsafe at times.

GGuest UserWe spent a good night at this hotel. I like the style of the hotel, and everything here is satisfied. Expecially I saw the starry sky that night our there in the backyard, it made me totally calmed down and relaxed after three hours driving.
My wife had a good sleep that night, so in the morning of the next day she bought the same kind of pillow and we brought it back to China, thanks for the housekeeper very much, you are very kindly.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel for Avenue of the Giants race. The room was clean and the check-in was easy. Located across the street from a coffee shop and down the road from a few restaurants. The rooms could use some renovation, but overall it was comfortable and a nice place to stay
