"Just pulled up to the hotel and — plot twist — our room wasn’t ready. Shocking, I know. They’d just survived the Water Festival the day before, so the place was probably still half-drowned and hungover. The receptionist dude was an absolute saint. His female colleague, however… let’s just say she was clearly auditioning for the role of “Cranky Receptionist from Hell.” I’m 99% sure she was on her period and the other 1% was pure personality. Thankfully they upgraded us, which was nice. I never saw the original room, so for all I know they moved us from a broom closet to a slightly larger broom closet with a view. Speaking of which — the view? Legit fire. The room itself? Clean enough. Dry sink area: spotless. Toilet: sparkling. Then came the shower — oh boy. It started off promising, like a decent enough setup… until my girlfriend jumped in. Five minutes later the hot water ghosted her mid-shampoo like a bad Tinder date. One second she’s happily singing, next second she’s screaming like she just got waterboarded by ice cubes. I’ve stayed in fancier bathrooms in Mexican motels that still had bullet holes in the walls and more reliable plumbing. Breakfast was… breakfast. The kind of “basic” that makes you nostalgic for airplane food. But hey, they gave us more bottled water than a doomsday prepper’s basement, so points for hydration. We were only there for two nights — in and out like a cheap Tinder date. Would I go back? Big fat question mark with a side of “probably not even if they paid me.” ⁉️"

"The hotel has a beautiful view, and I stayed here for about 10 days. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and convenient. Everything I needed was nearby, so I hardly had to travel far. What impressed me the most was the excellent service. The staff took very good care of me throughout my stay. For women traveling alone, there is no need to worry because they make you feel very safe and well looked after. Whenever I needed anything, I received help quickly and efficiently. This is my honest review from the heart. I would give this hotel a perfect 10/10 with no deductions at all. If I have the chance to visit again in the future, I will definitely choose to stay at thi ❤️😘✈️"

"Congratulations! If you are reading this review, then you have found the best villa in the Jinghong area. At first I planned to stay in Jinghong for a couple of days, but after a couple of hours at this villa, I realized that this is the place where I want to stay longer. That's why I extended my reservation for another 5 days. It helped to feel the atmosphere completely. Beauty consists of little things. And this beauty is so natural. The hotel staff is worthy of the highest praise. I felt like a welcome guest every minute of my stay. They were extremely kind and treated me to tea, which I enjoyed in the courtyard. Despite the proximity to the night market, the noise will not interfere with your vacation. In general, the location of the villa is just perfect. Everything you need is literally within walking distance. A hundred meters from the hotel there is an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a thoughtful interior. Therefore, feel free to book a room and feel true hospitality❤️"

"The hotel isn't on the main street. Let's start with the positives: the room is large, it offers great value for money, the facilities are quite good, and the staff are friendly. The front desk is also very responsive via WeChat. On the downside: breakfast is very mediocre, and if you go 40 minutes before closing, there's hardly anything left and they don't replenish it. Projecting onto the screen is too complicated. Also, I asked for clothes hangers for three days but never received them. These are all areas that could be improved, and if they were, the hotel would be even better. Because the price is very fair, I'm still giving it a 5-star rating, and the cons won't deduct from that."

"Cloud Hotel is truly a hidden gem in Xishuangbanna! The location is absolutely perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the Starlight Night Market, which is super convenient. Unlike hotels actually inside the night market, it's not noisy or affected by traffic jams. Plus, the rooftop infinity pool offers amazing photo opportunities. The rooms are spacious and clean, with smart home features throughout. The service is incredibly warm and attentive; the staff, especially the ladies, are so friendly and always smiling. They took care of everything from airport pickup to check-in, showing great attention to detail. Oh, and the food in Xishuangbanna is fantastic too – absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be back next time."

"The accommodation is located in the Gaozhuang Scenic Area. There are a lot of food downstairs. It is very close to the Star Night Market. It is very convenient to get in and out. It is very quiet to sleep at night. The boss is very enthusiastic. There is an arrangement to pick up and drop off at the high-speed rail station. It just rained that day. The driver told the boss to pick us up directly at the parking lot on the 3rd floor. The boss knew that we had brought children and gave us two dolls. The room was very clean, two 1.8-meter beds, very comfortable, there was a large balcony and a washing machine, and laundry detergent was provided (the laundry detergent was too obvious, so we thought it was not provided, so we ran to buy it ourselves), The balcony can see the white beach, and the night view of Gaozhuang, great!"

"First off, a huge shout-out to the hotel staff – seriously, 10,000 thumbs up for their service! The hotel itself gets a solid 100 thumbs up. It's super conveniently located, just a ten-minute drive from Gaozhuang, and it's nice and quiet at night. The rooms are spotless and tidy, and there's even a riverside pool where you can enjoy the river view while you swim. The absolute best part, and what truly impressed me, was on our last day. We had a hiking trip to Jinuo Mountain. We checked out in the morning, and when we returned around 4 PM, we were sweaty and dirty. The hotel staff initially tried to find an empty room for us to shower in, but everything was fully booked. However, they went above and beyond and still found a way for us to use their staff dormitory showers. This level of service was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming – a huge thank you, and definitely 10,000 thumbs up for that!"
