"The south side is a hundred miles away, and there is no choice.
On the first day, I stood downstairs in the bitter wind. I was afraid that my mother would freeze and break down. I was in a hurry to enter the password. Why was it wrong? I was in a hurry to call the boss. I was thinking that Japanese could not communicate. Thank God, the boss's mouth was full of positive voices. The broadcast cavity made me be sure to calm down. The room is very compact, that is no problem, but because it is on the side of the road, the car is a bit noisy at night, I don't know if the opposite row will not be better along the road."

Our family of five, including three young kids, had an absolutely fantastic stay at Rosenheim Tokyo Shinjuku Okubo. The hotel is conveniently located near Okubo Station, making it a perfect base to explore Tokyo, yet it offers a peaceful and welcoming retreat from the city's bustle. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional service. Mr. Agawa, in particular, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. From the moment we arrived, his warm demeanor, attention to detail, and willingness to assist with every request made us feel truly valued as guests. It’s rare to encounter someone who genuinely takes pride in ensuring visitors have a seamless and enjoyable stay, but Mr. Agawa epitomized that spirit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-suited for a family. The hotel's calm and family-friendly environment allowed us to relax after busy days of exploring. We wholeheartedly recommend Rosenheim Tokyo Shinjuku Okubo to anyone visiting Tokyo. With its prime location and the exceptional hospitality of staff like Mr. Agawa, it’s a gem we’ll be happy to return to on our next trip!

It was our first trip to the beautiful country of Japan and the city of Tokyo. Many thanks to the apartment owners — everything was very comfortable. All our questions were answered very promptly. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay, including enough kitchenware for quick breakfasts and an excellent bathroom. We would be happy to return again next year and recommend your apartment to our friends.

If you’re simply looking for a place to sleep, I would recommend this guesthouse. I’ve stayed here two to three times already. The rooms are spacious, and the location offers easy access to both the subway and JR Ikebukuro Station. The staff are friendly and supportive. One thing to note is that the rooms are not soundproof, so you may hear people walking past your room.

Excellent location in a quiet area, close to a subway station and Ueno Park. Self-service check-in. Fully equipped shower and toilet facilities, self-catering and self-heating options, a refrigerator, and a washing machine. The room is relatively large and comfortable compared to typical hotel rooms, clean, and features a small balcony with a clothes dryer. Recommended for couples!

The hotel is a Japanese style room as I want to experience the Japanese culture, its deferent rather hard if you are not use this costume, the room is quite no bathroom but there is a sink, the bath room is separated from the shower that has a hot bathtub very japanese style. Had elevator and the common area is in the reception area they provide snack, coffee, kettle microwave and drinking water despenser. I like the way they manage. Just 5 minutes walk to the metro and 12 minutes to the JY train to ueno and tokyo station. Alot of food in the area, 7eleven is nearby and they provide fresh food. The staff is strick according to their rule on the check in time, although they notice I was tired and waiting patiently they let me check in hour early although its already 2 Pm their time. If your having issue on your back and knee probably reconsider other option.

It's close to Mt. Takao, and I loved having the entire place to myself, offering great personal space. The room was also spacious. I really appreciated the service where fresh towels were left at the door instead of someone entering the room to replace them; it truly felt like they respected guest privacy.
