Guilin Hotels with Jacuzzi

"Honestly, at first, I was really upset. We pulled over with our hazard lights on to unload luggage by the hotel entrance, and a local person actually yelled at us for being 'uncultured' – I was speechless. That immediately put me in a bad mood. Then, regarding the parking, I honestly suggest printing out a small map with directions for self-driving guests. We drove around in circles multiple times trying to find it the first time, so those two things really ruined my mood. However, thankfully, the service from the front desk staff completely turned our attitude around 360 degrees. Due to a change in our itinerary and room adjustments, the front desk proactively handled everything perfectly – big plus! They were also very enthusiastic about sending up various items to our room. And then, at checkout, their proactive communication really helped cheer us up after our initial frustration! Another big plus! Combining all of that with the actual stay, the room itself was excellent – spacious, with top-brand bathroom fixtures, and the air conditioning worked wonderfully. Renting the small electric scooter from the front desk is a must for getting around! I initially thought the 'Sky Mirror' was a swimming pool!"

"The hotel is quite new, having opened just a few years ago, which is why I chose it. I booked a mountain view room (as shown in Pic 2), and it did indeed offer a mountain view. That said, if I had the chance to choose again, I think a standard room would have been perfectly fine. My room faced the road, and it could get a little noisy. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a quieter room. The location is convenient. It's about a 15-20 minute drive to the city center, including the pedestrian street and the Sun and Moon Pagodas. Both Guilin Railway Station and Guilin North Station are also around 20 minutes away by car. So, overall, transportation is quite accessible. This hotel is a good option for those who prefer a slightly quieter area that's still close to the city, as staying right in the bustling center can be noisy. Welcome fruit: It was decent. Minibar: The photos suggested a well-stocked minibar with items like Coke and Sprite. However, upon arrival, it only contained winter melon tea and another tea I've forgotten. I called reception to ask about the discrepancy, and they explained that the contents are adjusted based on availability (which wasn't stated in the hotel's description). They did send up two cans of Coke after my call, but I suspect I wouldn't have received them otherwise. Honestly, I'd suggest they don't even advertise the 'minibar' given this experience. Overall, it's a decent hotel, and I would recommend it."

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in during my trip to China. We watched Kong: Skull Island on the projector, which showcased the mountains that closely resemble those in Guilin. It was a notable experience in the hotel room. The bathtub near the window on the 22nd floor offers a view of the city and the distant mountains. I was really impressed with the smart bathroom, the keyless entry door, and the worry-free checkout process."
