"This was the best hotel experience I've ever had. We're from Jiaxing, Zhejiang, and after landing in Kunming, we traveled through Dali to Lijiang and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel staff's service was excellent; they upgraded our room and provided free breakfast. I highly recommend the 601 family room; it has a bathtub, and you can lie in bed and watch the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' just by opening the curtains. There's also a rooftop where you can enjoy afternoon tea and take photos. Anyway, it was a fantastic stay. I'm writing this review while waiting at the airport. It was truly a worthwhile trip. Heading home to Hangzhou!~~~"

"Staying at this guesthouse at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was truly a healing and surprising journey. The location is superb; opening the window reveals the majestic snow-capped mountains, offering an unobstructed and expansive view. There’s no need to rush out early; you can simply wait in your room for the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' phenomenon. When the first ray of golden light bathes the snow-capped peak, and the entire mountain range is painted a warm gold, the awe and romance of that moment are unforgettable. The room was clean and tidy, with simple yet locally-inspired decor, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep even at high altitude. The owner was warm and attentive, providing careful guidance from check-in to high-altitude precautions, and even thoughtfully prepared hot tea and snacks. The courtyard environment is tranquil, perfect for relaxing, daydreaming, or taking beautiful photos, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Getting around is convenient, as it's close to attractions, saving a lot of travel time. Whether it's for admiring the snow mountains, watching the sunrise, or experiencing a slower pace of life, this place is absolutely perfect. With high value for money, warm service, and breathtaking scenery, it's an ideal place to stay when visiting Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone who yearns for snow mountains and the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight'."

"This is hands down the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at throughout my entire trip! Its charm doesn't come from luxurious decor, but from all the thoughtful details that truly touched my heart. The moment I checked in, I instantly felt that relaxing 'home away from home' vibe. The guesthouse itself is very new, having just been renovated and opened in September 2025 (don't ask me how I know such specific details – I had tea with the owner and heard his stories, haha!). It features a lovely little courtyard, and the entire house is spotlessly clean, so tidy and pristine you can't find a single flaw. But what really makes me want to rave about this place is how absolutely wonderful the owner is! As soon as we arrived, he immediately offered to help with our luggage. Upon entering, he asked if we'd prefer tea or coffee, and then promptly made a complimentary latte that tasted just as good as anything from a professional coffee shop. We wanted to go take photos nearby, but taxis were hard to come by for a 2-3 kilometer distance, so the owner didn't hesitate to lend us his electric scooter. While chatting, we also enjoyed some excellent tea he brewed and heard many interesting stories. At one point, my child, being a bit mischievous, stained the sofa with blueberries. We were so embarrassed and offered to pay a cleaning fee, but the owner completely brushed it off and didn't mind at all. Beyond that, the owner also created personalized travel itineraries for us based on our time and preferences, helping us avoid pitfalls and making our trip worry-free. Oh, and the guesthouse also includes breakfast! Their 'zhajiang' rice noodles are absolutely divine, easily as good as those from the famous old shops in Baisha Ancient Town. Every bite was so satisfying. There are countless other heartwarming details, so many that I'm afraid people might think I'm a shill if I list them all. But honestly, if you're reading this review, just book this place without hesitation – you definitely won't regret it. It's an amazing guesthouse I'd want to revisit countless times! P.S. Don't ask why there aren't any guest room photos; I forgot to take them once I went inside. 😂😂😂"

"Choosing this guesthouse for my Lijiang trip was definitely the right decision; it made me so incredibly happy! The host was warm and thoughtful, and the location was fantastic, super close to Baisha Ancient Town. I didn't have to rush out early in the morning – I could just wait in my room to see the 'sun-kissed golden mountains,' and the view was both stunning and therapeutic. Breakfast was an unexpected delight: the rice noodles were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the tea eggs were delicious. The breakfast auntie was so gentle and attentive. My entire stay was heartwarming and comfortable. Highly recommended!"

"The service here was absolutely fantastic. First off, Wenchun is incredibly friendly and helpful. He truly wants you to experience the best of 宝山石头城。 His parents at the hotel/homestay are beyond friendly and helpful. Additionally, the food there was delicious. My husband still talks about some of the dishes. I speak minimal Chinese and my husband speaks none. However, they were kind, helpful, and thoughtful to both of us. Their kindness and helpfulness is invaluable. Our stay was unforgettable; the scenery was absolutely stunning, and the room was so clean and comfortable that it felt like a spa. I cannot recommend this place enough."
