GGuest UserI initially thought I was just paying for the elusive snowy mountain views and great photo opportunities. But I also got an incredibly lavish breakfast, super exquisite afternoon tea, and evening cocktails, the healing smile of the dog 🐶 Cola (they deserve extra chicken legs!), and the warm and polite service from the staff (all of the above were complimentary!). The hotel also offers room service, and the porcini mushroom fried rice was absolutely delicious 🤤. I'm highly recommending this to all my friends and family. The room can accommodate an extra bed, so it was very spacious for 2 adults and 2 children!

GGuest UserI originally planned to stay for two nights, but the overall experience was so comfortable that I extended my stay for a third night. **Environment:** It's very close to Bai Sha (White Sands), and I mostly walked back. If you prefer not to walk, the butler service for pick-up and drop-off is very enthusiastic and convenient. **Cleanliness:** The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to detail was excellent. All bath towels and disposable cups were individually packaged. For the private hot spring, they even provided disposable bath liners, which was a thoughtful and thorough service. Plus, there's no need for a kettle; they have a water dispenser with adjustable temperature. **Service:** The breakfast selection each morning was abundant, and the wontons and 'er si' (a type of rice noodle) tasted authentic. Since I was going hiking in the mornings, they even prepared breakfast bags for me in advance. The afternoon tea was good, though the desserts could be a bit more refined, haha!

AAAAwudixunmenglongPicking Shitoucuo was the absolute best decision for my relaxed May Day trip to Lijiang! A week before arrival, the hotel reached out to arrange airport transfers, check-in details, and an activity schedule. Anything we needed, we just had to mention it in the group chat, and it was handled immediately. This time, I opted for a four-day, three-night package, which included breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, so I didn't have to worry about what to eat. There was no need to plan my own itinerary; each day, I simply participated in the hotel's activities: mountain foraging, horseback riding, Naxi home visits, botanical specimen making, tea roasting, and a bonfire party. The May Day afternoon tea was a barbecue on the lawn, and it was incredibly pleasant to enjoy grilled food with a view of the snow-capped mountains. Every day at Shitoucuo, I felt incredibly well taken care of! 👍

EEllina_zzThe room was absolutely beautiful, and you could see the snow-capped mountains right from the window! It's very close to Baisha Ancient Town, an easy walk. Plus, the guesthouse owner (a handsome guy!) offers free rides to Baisha Ancient Town in a comfortable business van – a great perk! 🎉 The afternoon tea and goodnight milk were delicious, and the owner (a lovely lady!) was so kind and gentle! She'd always greet us and even helped with our luggage. The service was absolutely fantastic! 🎊

GGuest UserNestled north of Lijiang, at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, stands an old house that, after seven years of meticulous renovation by its owner, has been transformed into a luxury guesthouse. The owner personally carried bricks and tiles, while a design team from Tsinghua University's architecture department oversaw the project, embedding the Naxi people's understanding of beauty and the soul of their spiritual home into every crevice of the walls. No matter which window you open, you're greeted with a view of the ancient, majestic snow-capped mountain, as if it's been brought right into the lively space. The design and details within the rooms reflect the owner's thoughtful touch and aesthetic sense. The amenities are excellent, with underfloor heating in winter and cool breezes in summer, making it a perfect retreat year-round. Whether you're relaxing in your room, enjoying tea and a book, or venturing out for a horse ride or hike to Yuhu Lake for some fresh air and mushroom foraging in the woods, it's all about savoring slow living. The high-altitude winds effortlessly sweep away any urban worries you might have brought with you. At every turn, the designer has placed a soft, non-glaring light and many cleverly conceived details. The common areas are stocked with a wide selection of books, creating a sense of relaxation and peace in every corner. The assistant, a charming and kind woman who has traveled the world before returning to her hometown, is truly exceptional. Having worked for many years in natural ecological education at the UN, she's a favorite among children, offering a variety of engaging themed activities daily. The dining experience is also delightful; both breakfast and dinner are hearty, and the ingredients are fresh and safe, offering complete peace of mind. Come to this little corner of the world and see if you can find a place to call home and settle your soul. Seven years have turned a century-old house into this masterpiece. What will it look like in another hundred years? Perhaps the snow mountain will remain, while the human world will have long since changed.

GGuest UserReview from Malaysian - worth every penny! 1. First and foremost, this place is a true definition of luxury. It's architecture and design is really well thought off with a dedicated private courtyard. Their common space has different section, giving you choices on where and what you would like to experience. Its interior spells luxury in every corner. They even have a fireplace which is actually a humidifier - very important for a cold place. 2. Secondly, as its name. It is the most carefree holiday we had, where everything is well prepared and well planned. 3. Last but not least, the hospitality.! Its owners are always around. We have multiple conversations beside the fireplace (legit fireplace) and when we depart, the most touching words was said - ”call us if there is anything as we are local people, we can help you” Totally recommend to stay here, true definition of ”atas”.

SShifufuThis is our fourth year traveling with Fufu, and I've finally found a hotel where both parents and kids can relax without conflict. For parents, 'relax' is such a luxury, as children are always full of curiosity and energy. The moment the hotel butler sent me the activity schedule, I knew I'd chosen the right place. There are so many activities for kids! Horse riding, boating, fruit picking, fabric printing, archery – Fufu had a blast and burned off all that energy. This allowed me to truly unwind and relax. And who would've thought a dog would steal the show at the evening bonfire? Away from the noisy attractions, we quietly enjoyed the unique beauty of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. I've been to Lijiang many times, but this is the first time I've truly felt the wild charm of living amidst nature. As far as the eye can see, there are snow-capped mountains, lakes, forests, and pastures. You can go boating, horse riding, archery, and do handicrafts. In the evening, under the starry sky, we learned to make butter tea by the fireplace... This is what a vacation should be. Taohuawu Ranch is far from the bustling tourist spots and still a bit of a mountain drive from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tourist center. We stayed in a lakeside stargazing cabin, where the first floor was even a stable! After dropping off our luggage, we eagerly went to watch the staff train horses. Riding freely across a ranch like this, even the wind feels liberating. The cliffside cafe is even more beautiful, offering panoramic views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. We came early in the morning to see the 'golden mountain' sunrise – and I was lucky enough to witness it (the butler provides weather updates in advance). I used to think 'chasing mountains and seas' was a distant concept. Now I realize that with the right place, mountains, seas, and even miracles can become an everyday sight outside your window. This unique morning ritual is the most luxurious gift this place can offer you. I really must say: all the staff provided excellent service, and the food in the restaurant was delicious too! 👍

GGuest UserYou *must* stay at the Liuchuan Guesthouse when you're in Lijiang Baisha! The location is absolutely amazing, right at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Every capsule room has panoramic floor-toceiling windows, so you can literally lie in bed and face the snow-capped peaks. Wake up to the golden sunlight on the mountain in the morning and watch the clouds drift around it in the evening – it's incredibly healing. Plus, each room comes with a private courtyard and a private hot spring tub. Soaking in the hot spring while looking at the snow mountain? The vibe is simply divine. The butler service is super attentive and they're always ready to help. The rooms are clean, smart, and the attention to detail is perfect. If you're coming to Baisha to see the snow mountain, this is definitely the place to stay – you won't be disappointed!

GGuest UserThe full mountain view room was simply divine! Our room featured floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing us to lie in bed and watch the clouds drift lazily across the mountaintops, with every breath infused with the fresh scent of pine. The windows framed the mountain views like a living wallpaper; by day, it was a vibrant green tapestry, and in the evenings, the peaks were bathed in stunning orange and pink hues. Every casual photo looked like a cinematic screenshot. The ”Golden Mountain at Sunrise” (日照金山) viewed from the rooftop was an absolutely unforgettable, breathtaking spectacle. Watching the snow-capped peaks slowly transform from steely grey to shimmering gold, with the first rays of light touching my face, it felt as if even the wind held its breath. This sheer, majestic grandeur is a moment no filter could ever hope to capture. The evening bonfire party truly embodied the most vibrant and authentic local atmosphere. As dusk settled, the bonfire by the entrance sprang to life. Naxi aunties led everyone in traditional 'datiao' dances, the firewood crackled merrily, and songs mixed with laughter echoed up the hillside. We drank local rice wine and joined the circle, feeling the day's serene tranquility transition seamlessly into the lively energy of the night. From the 'Golden Mountain' at dawn to the late-night bonfire, from the stunning mountain views from our room to the fresh scent of flora and fauna with every breath, this place perfectly blends the refined elegance of 'French-inspired rustic luxury' with the genuine, untouched spirit of Lijiang's wilderness. It creates a compelling reason to want to return and stay here again and again. Next time I visit Lijiang, I'll definitely be staying here again!

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does. All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel. The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
