The location of the apartment is excellent, located opposite the Kagoshima Station on the island line (non-JR Kagoshima Central Station), the Sakurajima Port Pier and the Ocean Zoo are close at hand, and the Sakurajima volcano can be seen very clearly. Transportation is not too convenient. The room is large in size, and the decoration is uniquely Japanese-style exquisite, quite simple and clean. Air conditioning, refrigerator, washing machine, kitchen utensils are complete. Three adults and two babies stayed for four days and three nights. It is very convenient and comfortable. It is highly recommended. Fortunately, the night before leaving, I was fortunate to see the Orchid Festival Fire and Fire Conference held in Sakurajima Port. The locals were dressed in costume and came to the city. It was quite lively and atmosphere.
A bit of a confusing entry. Despite the fact that I tried to prepare everything in advance for entry according to the letters I received, I had to partially fill it out again on the tablet at the entrance. A mandatory video call was also required, although it was not mentioned in the letters. But overall, everything is fine. The location is simply the best of all praise, the very center of Kagoshima with establishments and a train station, from which buses go to other parts of the city. Also, the bus stop to the airport is incredibly conveniently located, literally a few meters from the accommodation. Inside, everything you need for living, a decent studio, although the second large bed is unnecessary, we used it for things instead of a closet, which, logically, should have been instead of this second large bed.
The location is on the quiet side of the road, and it is easy to confuse with Hall 2 not far away. We went to Hall 2 and were told that the reservation was Hall 1. Simply not too far away. Chain hotel management, affordable. Good health, including free breakfast.

The boss is like an artist, and the Japanese speaks quickly ~ In Trip.com, you have to use VISA cards, but you don't deduct money directly in the account, and you have to pay cash on site. The location of the homestay is on the bank of the Sapporo Island Volcano. The homestay has a rooftop. You can go up to enjoy the cool and watch the sunset and watch the volcano. It is still very romantic.
Kagoshima Central JR Station can be reached by walking a few hundred meters. It is an apartment hotel. You can check in downstairs in the apartment yourself. You must register the guest's message on the email sent to you by the other party in advance. When you arrive at the door, pay attention to the unlock password with the door gate in the email sent to you. All Japanese and English emails may be a headache to find passwords. Enter the hotel on the first floor to check in. If you register your own message in advance, you can directly use it to connect to your QR code, and then scan the code + passport to take pictures to check in. When you check out, you have to go to the front desk to operate once, otherwise you will be regarded as you have not checked out yet.
In addition to the cumbersome check in, other places are not bad. The apartment is located in the local residential area. It is very quiet. There is a family convenience store about 200m away. You can also wash clothes in the room and dry them with the drying function of the bathroom. The room area is also larger than the hotel at the same price. Overall, the price/performance ratio is very good.
Small two-story building, a total of five or six rooms, self-check-in, the room is very clean, the equipment is new and complete, very good, will consider staying in the future.
Take a long-distance bus to Kagoshima for one night, the next day to take the ferry, the bus is late, the hotel has been 23:45, the night shift management is still from the lounge to check in intimately, the room space is relatively large, the facilities are complete, clean and tidy, cost-effective, praise
It's on the other side of the crowded Kagoshima Chuo Station, but it's quiet. It's close to the station and above all, it's an apartment type, so it's attractive to use it like a house.
Since it is Toyoko Inn, it may not leak and includes breakfast. It is unavoidable that the lobby is a breakfast venue, but it is cheap with a lot of handmade feeling. Also, the food is poor and completely Japanese except soup, sausage, and bread. And not only the choice but also the amount of the number of people was small and the replenishment was not caught up, and eventually stopped on the way and reeat outside.

SStephen chuNice brand new hotel in a good location. The room is very spacious, and the onsen is the best. You must try it. I didn't try the breakfast, so no comment on food. There is free shuttle bus service from Kagoshima Chuo to the hotel every 30 mins.
DDaisyJJRSuperb hotel with direct access from JR station, and 1min walk to the tram stop and sightseeing bus stop. Staff was polite and patiently assisted and provided map on information we needed. Lovely bath salts for our use. Self service luggage deposit allowed us to continue exploring the city after checkup.
Recommended stay at Kagoshima.
AAnonymous UserHuge bath tub within the room. Slightly bigger room than japan's average because of that but living area is smaller as a result. There is a sofa in this room but that takes up the space for luggage. Overall pretty good. Just opppsite the jr station with underground access. Sakurajima was covered by clouds when I was there.
CCHIU WAHThe room is relatively spacious compared to other hotels I stayed in Japan. It is very clean that no dust is found when wiping the table. The staff is responsible that they cleaned the room even though we forgot to stick the clean signage on the door. We are especially impressed by the LG electronic wardrobe which really helps to dry and cleanse the clothes.
AAilaoshihaohaohaoThe hotel is relatively new, with convenient location and transportation. The airport bus station is just across the street. There are many places to eat and drink around, and it is the most prosperous and lively area in Kagoshima besides the Central Station. Check-in and check-out can be done automatically by machine, which is easy to operate and more convenient than the machines in some other cities in Japan where I have stayed before. Because it is automatic, there is almost no service.
Toothbrushes and other things can be taken on the second floor, and you can also mix bathing agents by yourself.
The room is small, but the bed is big. It is only suitable for single occupancy. It is not recommended for two people. The room cleaning is only on the third day of consecutive stays. On other days, it is just changing towels and taking out garbage. I stayed for four consecutive nights and came in to clean it on the third day. I think there is no problem. It is more environmentally friendly and saves manpower.
ひひみでIt's cheap and within walking distance from the station.
There are also convenience stores, bento shops, and general stores nearby.
I came with my 7 month old daughter.
There is also a diaper bag, microwave oven, stove,
There were also frying pans, cutlery, and plates.
I was able to enjoy baby food and milk just like at home without any stress.
It was wonderful.
I would definitely use it again. I really recommend it.
KKevinWould definitely stay at Nanshukan again! It is a business type hotel offering all the basics. Great fir solo travelers, couples etc. the room was spacious and clean.
It is centrally located so it’s within walking distance of several sightseeing spots! The ferry terminal to Sakurajima is about a fifteen minute walk! The airport bus stop is about ten minutes .
But fir me the breakfast was amazing. You can choose between WASHOKU( Japanese style) or YOSHOKU( western style). I chose the washoku and it was an amazing assortment of little breakfast goodies with hot miso soup and black pork shabu shabu , too!
Great way to start s day!
Come and enjoy a night or two at Nanshukan!
EEvan 勾勾Hotel may not be the newest, location is superb. The room offers a beautiful view of Sakurajima volcano. Having a convenience store right across the street adds to the convenience. Indoor parking is available, but spaces are limited, so arriving late may result in difficulty finding a spot.
GGuest UserThe service was super nice. I forgot to bring a charger. They found me a seat right away and it was very easy. I took the airport bus and got off and went to the AMU opposite (that's the Ferris wheel🎡). I took the escalator up to Kagoshima Chuo Station and crossed it. Then I got off and walked forward for a few minutes. In fact, I saw the word ”hidden” near TOKYO INN and turned to the alley inside. It's a bit old but the toilet is very clean.
