Best Hotels in Kanyawa, Kenya

This is the most satisfactory hotel of my trip to Kenya. Despite the last-minute booking, the hotel still prepared a beautiful honeymoon setup for us and even provided a welcome fruit basket and a bottle of champagne. The staff's service was both warm and attentive. While the hotel's facilities were a bit dated, they were impeccably clean. Our room's balcony faced Lake Elementaita, offering a delightful view. We could spot flamingos and pelicans right from the balcony. The restaurant had a diverse dishes with delicious flavors. The campfire also relaxed us at night. My husband and I stayed here recently and had an amazing experience. The grounds and facilities are lovely, the food was terrific, and the staff went out of their way to insure we had everything we needed. Our room was well-appointed with a comfy bed, extra pillows, toiletries, ample storage, and a sitting area. The meals were all buffet style and all the food we tried was fresh and delicious. We especially liked the live music in the dining room during lunch and dinner. I learned from one of the chefs that much of the produce is grown on-site in their farm to table garden. We really enjoyed watching the many types of birds who gather on the grounds at feeding time. A very nice surprise/bonus at this lodge. Another nice surprise was a staff member playing pool with my husband while I had a swim. The welcoming staff made us feel like family rather than guests. We highly recommend Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge!

All the staff were friendly and helpful. To be highlighted are the reception and restaurant. The outdoor area, including the animals that appeared regularly, was very interesting and had something of a safari and holiday feel about it. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, need to be renovated and modernized. But nothing was missing here either. The food selection was sufficient, but could be a little more extensive (fruit, cheese), especially at breakfast.

Spectacular services,private lawns for the new years gala dinner was amazing. Breakfast is excellent,fresh and lovingly prepared. Donald,Doreen,mercy ,Elizabeth and the entire staff gave the best service that went into our stay. We loved every minute and look forward to coming back one day!
