It is surrounded by Blairadam Forest, which is also part of the Fife Pilgrim Way. To the north east of the village lies Lochore Meadows with beautiful walks, a nature reserve and many water sports amongst other activities. It is also close to many golf courses and is a perfect location from which to explore Central Scotland. It is also very close to Kinross Golf Club, Rosyth, Perth, Dundee, Dunfermline, Edinburgh as well as Cowdenbeath and Lochore clubs. There's a lovely eatery called 'loch Leven Larder' near Kinross. The No 98 in Kinross has fab homemade food, which we love. Or, good wee cafe alongside a section of Loch Leven called Loch Leven Lodges Cafe.
