The Gran Resort Arima

A very quiet and beautiful Japanese town. The hotel is clean and hygienic, the hot spring is comfortable, and the toiletries are complete. The room is large and has Japanese characteristics. The only unpleasant thing is that the hotel requires check-out at ten in the morning and check-in can only be done at three in the afternoon. It is closed between ten and three o'clock. We arrived at 12:30 noon, and there was no one in the lobby. We could only carry our suitcases and wait until the staff came to work at 3 o'clock. After checking out at 10 o'clock in the morning, I dragged my suitcase and left again. The hotel did not help store it. This is particularly inconvenient for tourists, so many attractions are inaccessible.

The hotel is halfway up the mountain. You can call the front desk in advance and ask them to send a free shuttle bus to pick you up at the bus station or train station. Otherwise, it will take a long time to drag your luggage, and it will be very tiring to climb the slope. The hotel has its own hot spring, so we didn't go to the Kintoku and Gintō Taiko-no-Yu to join in the fun. When we went there, there were not many people in the hotel, and there were not many people in the hot spring pool. We stayed in a Japanese tatami room, and we needed to make our own bed and quilt. The room was OK and not very small, but the entrance and bathroom were relatively small. In general, it was quite happy to stay here with my baby, but we had to check out before 10 o'clock the next day, which was a bit early. If we went back, we made an appoin**ent at the front desk on the day of check-in to take us back to the train station for the next day. We originally wanted to take the Rokko Mountain Cable Car, but it was windy from the end of January to the beginning of February, and the cable car was closed. In general, the hotel's service is still good, but the facilities are a bit old.

The hotel is about 650 meters away from the bus station, which is uphill, but the hotel provides pick-up and drop-off services. When you arrive at the bus station, remember to call the hotel counter to arrange a pick-up.

The room is Japanese style. You make your own tatami bed. It is clean and tidy. It can sleep four people. There is a creek outside the window, but it is a bit noisy at night. You can close the window. There is a bathroom and washbasin in the room. There is no shower. You need to go to the hotel after five There is a public bathroom on the first floor, but it is still very convenient. There is also a golden hot spring bath. Each guest is charged 150 yen for bathing. The hotel environment is good, but on the mountain, dragging suitcases uphill made us exhausted. , but I’m still very happy. Arima Onsen is a nice place. Most shops close at 7pm, so it’s nice to walk around and eat.

The hotel I had booked was closed and I was sent to a related hotel without any prior notice.
