We stayed. twice in November. The first stay was not great but not bad. The second stay a week later was terrible. There was a BIG red stain between the beds. The heater ran but when it stopped there was a 30 siren sound and that went ALL night long, carpet was frailed as you entered room which was a trip hazard, the sink drain did not work. When we checked out Manager, Tina, said she would credit my Choice Privilege account with points to compensate for the bad room. Called her two times in the next month and did not receive points. Finally called Choice Privileges and they credited my account. Manager has no follow through.

My husband and I take an annual trip.to Frankenmuth, Mich around Christmas time each year. We usually spend a fortune to stay in the town of Frankenmuth. We decided to stay outside of Frankenmuth and found the Springhill Suites in Saginaw, MI, about 20 min. from our destination. We were so pleasantly surprised by tbe accommodations. The suite was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The staff was so helpful and friendly - even after locking ourselves out of our room twice. They were attentive and even offered restraunt suggestions. Tbe breakfast offered a great selection - sausage, rggs, waffles, juice, cereal, pastries etc. In addition, the hotel overall abd lobby was clean and very pretty. The only issue, which is minimal, was the pool size. It was a bit small. However, the hot tub was large and very relaxing. The price we paid for a 2 night stay in a beautiful suite at the Springhill Suites in Saginaw would not have covered one night in a standard hotel room in the town of Frankenmuth. I will look for this particular hotel during our future travels. They did everything right.

Location is one of the best, restaurants are all around this hotel, and mall five minutes away. Breakfast has eggs and other items, not overwhelming but enough of a choice.

This hotel is what you would expect from a Residence inn. The front desk staff were very helpful, and efficient. Rooms were large, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast is your general fare. The first day the breakfast buffet was full. The second day there was about a 10 minute wait for food. The pool is very large for a hotel pool, and there is a hot tub as well. The location is close to dozens of restaurants, and only a 20 minute drive from Birch Run outlets. My family will be staying here again during our next stay in Saginaw.
