Amazing

I can only describe this place as a little slice of heaven. I stayed for 4 nights in July 2026 and regretted booking such a short stay. It's an amazing spot with a wonderful view from the room and the clearest sea. Good breakfast and daily room cleaning. The staff are very friendly and responsive. I'd definitely come back here again if I have the chance!

The hotel has a small grounds but its own sunbeds on a pleasant Chaweng Noi beach. Breakfasts are decent. The pool is small but deep. My stay was okay, but not outstanding. On arrival I had to wait three hours to check in because I was first shown a ground-floor room with no sea view that smelled strongly of damp. There was also a pump in the room that made noise continuously, turning on every minute around the clock. Because of these issues I don’t plan to return, although the location itself is quite good.

Pros
* 🌊 Beautiful beachfront on Chaweng Noi Beach, one of the quieter and prettier beaches in Samui.
* 🏊 Large swimming pool with direct beach access.
* 🍳 Good breakfast with sea views.
* 😊 Friendly staff are frequently praised.
* 💰 Excellent value for a beachfront property.
Cons
* 🛏️ Rooms are starting to show their age and could use renovation.
* 🚕 You’ll often need a taxi to reach Chaweng’s restaurants and nightlife.
* 🛣️ Some rooms near the road can be noisy.
* 🛗 No elevator, and there are quite a few steps around the property.

Enjoyed our stay, James and Vive at reception were excellent, always helpful and caring. The staff in the restaurant were great and very quick to remove any used plates and cups etc and generally very cheerful. I would however warn about the number of stairs for
those with limited mobility. That was the big downfall as my husband has problems with his knees and hip and if we had known we would not have booked this hotel

Amazing

This hotel can be absolutely amazing, but there are a few things you should know before booking.
The biggest highlight of our stay was definitely the view. We stayed in a Sea View room on the 4th floor, and the view from the balcony was simply stunning. Waking up and seeing the ocean every morning never got old. If you’re planning to stay here, I highly recommend paying extra for a Sea View room, ideally on the 4th floor. In my opinion, rooms facing the road could completely change your experience and might even ruin your vacation.
The hotel itself is very beautiful. The grounds are full of tropical plants and are extremely well maintained. The beach is gorgeous, exactly what you imagine when you think of a tropical island getaway. The pool is also fantastic, with an incredible view overlooking the sea.
Housekeeping was excellent. The room was cleaned very well every day, and it always smelled fresh and pleasant when we came back. Breakfast is not huge or luxurious, but everything we tried was tasty. Most of the options are Thai dishes, which we actually enjoyed.
Now for the downsides.
The location can be a problem if you’re not prepared. The hotel sits right next to a high-speed road, and despite what it may look like on the map, walking anywhere is basically not an option. Even if you think you’ll be able to walk to nearby places, you probably won’t.
Because of that, I would only stay here if you’re renting a scooter or are comfortable taking taxis everywhere. Transportation on Koh Samui is not cheap, and taxi costs can add up quickly.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the incredible sea view, beautiful beach, great pool, and lovely hotel grounds. Just make sure you book a Sea View room and think about transportation before you arrive. Those two things can make the difference between an amazing vacation and a disappointing one.

The front desk staff's service quality is really poor; I wouldn't recommend this place for Chinese guests. I strongly suspect most of the staff here are prejudiced against Chinese people, which significantly dampened my travel mood. However, the housekeeping staff were very polite, and the room was quite clean. The hotel environment itself is decent.

The hotel appears much older than what is shown in the photos online, and the condition of the furniture and amenities is quite poor. Even small details—like the room entrance door or the ironing board—clearly show wear and lack of maintenance.
The breakfast options are very limited and not particularly tasty, which was disappointing.
Additionally, the staff seemed more focused on using their phones than attending to guests, resulting in poor service overall.

The hotel's strong points are the breakfast and the beach!
+ The breakfasts are great and varied, with two coffee machines and plenty of different dishes. Vegetarians will always find options and vegetables.
+ The beach in front of the hotel is now superb. It's cleaned regularly; before, this part of the beach wasn't great, but now it's amazing – turquoise, clear water, and a gentle entry. Keep in mind that the sun on Chaweng Noi sets by 5 PM.
+ The two dogs on the beach are very kind, affectionate, and cute. I miss them dearly!
+ The massage on the beach at the hotel is truly excellent, especially with the two older ladies – it's the best. There was no point in going elsewhere to try; the massage here is very good for a great price.
+ I really liked the parking attendant who helps you get onto the main road; he's very friendly and does a great job.
- I didn't like the check-in process. I arrived at the hotel at 2 PM, and they said check-in was from 3 PM (the information at the front desk stated check-in from 2 PM, and the rooms are tiny, so I guess they lack cleaning staff). They offered for me to wait by the pool, which led to a fuss over towels. Then I went back at 4 PM for check-in, and everything was still ambiguous. They first offered a worse room, which I've never experienced before, especially since it was my first time staying there. After I declined, a better one was offered. It all felt rather unwelcoming.
- The Wi-Fi throughout the entire property is terrible; you have to chase after it. In other hotels, Wi-Fi works even if you're 50 meters away, not just if you're standing right in front of it on the beach or in the hotel's gym.
- The gym is just awful; nothing has been updated since it was built. There's a broken seat on a bench that's just placed on top, dumbbells are in terrible condition, a broken treadmill that wasn't fixed in 7 days (and who knows how long it's been like that), and a smelly air conditioner that's dangerous to breathe. I've never seen anything like it; it directly shows their attitude towards guests, as does the broken shower on the beach, which also wasn't fixed in 7 days.
The hotel is decent. For the price it used to be (4-5 thousand), it was excellent, but at twice that price, it definitely doesn't live up to it. The room is small and ordinary, but the size and photos were accurately displayed on the aggregator, so I have no complaints there. Everything is, of course, old and worn, not for the squeamish or those who prefer sparkling clean fixtures.
I would visit the hotel again if it were at a lower price.
I wish them luck in dealing with all the shortcomings and hope for their continued prosperity!

This was a gorgeous place to spend Christmas. The pool, gym, and private beach are outstanding. The grounds are clean and comfortable. It’s about a 15 minute ride to the bars and 20 to the airport keeping it all close without the noise and disruption.

The hotel environment is nice, and the pool faces the beach. The breakfast selection and taste are also good. However, the hotel is located in the middle of a main road, so you need to be careful of traffic from different directions when driving out. Of course, the security guards do help watch the road, but it's still not very convenient.
There are several sea-view restaurants nearby, all with good food and ambiance, worth trying.
We stayed in two hotels on Chaweng Beach, and Impiana is situated in a bay area of the beach, so the waves were quite strong.
The room isn't cleaned automatically every day; you have to request it. One morning, I asked the front desk for cleaning, but when we returned to the hotel in the evening, it hadn't been cleaned. Also, after sleeping there one night, my child and husband both developed skin allergies, and we're not sure if it was due to the bedsheets.

The hotel is good, location is good beach is clean. The staff at the front desk hardly speaks English or pretends not to and are not helpful when running into issues caused by themselves.
