Hotel Fischer

We stayed in the great quality single rooms which were the best I've encountered. We slept well on the comfortable beds and the showers were generously sized. The hotel was well furnished and clean throughout. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely family and staff who run this hotel. They all were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We really appreciated the choice at breakfast and the availability of tea and soft drinks in the afternoon until 5 pm. The hotel is well placed for transport links and we made good use of the guest card for local trips. This also made trips further afield less expensive. I can personally recommend trips to Steinplatte, Kitzbuhel (up on the cable cars) and Hall. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at this very special hotel

My girlfriend and I had a great time at this hotel on our summer hiking trip. The owner, Michael, was super helpful. He helped myself book paragliding and always made time to chat with us. He made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our week. The room was big and clean, which was really nice to come back to after a day of hiking. We loved the breakfast. It had tasty local bacon, sausage, and eggs, and fresh croissants and coffee every morning, kitchen staff were all very helpful. The hotel’s right by the main square with lots of good restaurants that serve up substantial hearty local food at good prices. There’s also a spring water fountain right outside with the best tasting cold water. It’s a great spot for hiking since it’s close to the Kitzbüheler Horn ski lift and the Kaiser mountain range. We could also use buses and trains for free up to Wörgl with the Digital GästeCard, we enjoyed visiting kitzbühel and free transport for this was handy. Swimming was free too, and we got lucky with the weather. Plus, there’s a cheap launderette just a stone’s throw away. And I have to mention Nathan, the Welsh bartender. He was so welcoming and kept a very positive welcoming environment at the hotel bar. We’re already thinking about coming back for a ski holiday in the winter.

Another excellent stay at Hotel Fischer, this time for a winter/ski holiday. Great location, very helpful and cheerful owners and staff, useful local travel advice, meals were perfect. Good set up for ski storage near the gondola. Very pretty looking hotel. Thank you.

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our skiing trip. Hotel staff were all excellent, very attentive, polite and efficient. The hotel was centrally located and offered ski storage if needed. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean.

Excellent all round. Nothing is too much trouble. Can’t wait to go again. Extra little details make the Fischer special. Service on all levels very nice. Lovely location. Brilliant food for breakfast and lovely choices for evening meals.

We had a lovely 7 day stay at Hotel Fischer Superior. Our room was very comfortable & clean. Breakfast & evening meals were delightful with plenty of choices. The staff was just amazing I found them all extremely helpful, friendly & attentive. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will definitely be returning. From the minute we walked through the door until the minute we left we had the best time. Michael and his fantastic team gave us a warm welcome and were always very helpful. Our rooms were spotless and spacious and well equipped. There was so much choice at breakfast nobody could go hungry. There was a choice of evening meal with soup and salad, the food was delicious. Nathan the bar manager was so professional and friendly, he even joined in one of our games. St Johann is stunningly beautiful. We will definitely return here in the future.

Can highly recommend this hotel and resort, we had a fantastic family ski trip here, food was lovely with varied menu. The hotel management and staff were very friendly and helpful, and special mention to Nathan the bar manager who looked after us all very well, Even when the hotel bar got very busy as its used by the locals and guests. Sister hotel has free ski storage for hotel fischer guests, which is a short walk to the gondola lift. Thankyou for a memorable holiday.

A beautiful charming hotel. Great service, friendly staff, lovely food and clean rooms. A great stay. It was lovely to come back every evening after a day of skiing and sit and relax in the foyer. The choice of food was great and very tasty. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a family.
