"We didn't even stay overnight. They wouldn't let us in because I have two children, one and three years old. I've emailed them over the last two days, but they haven't replied to my emails either."

"My wife and I stayed for a week at Sporthotel Austia with Inghams. The hotel was very Tyrolean, clean and is situated 15 minutes walk from the centre of St Johann, and 7 minutes walk to the gondola station. Our room was adequately sized with a balcony which looked on to the Kitzbüelerhorn, and the en suite room was spacious with a shower, but no bath. The food in the hotel was excellent, with lots of choice at breakfast, and a 5 course evening meal, which was served in the garden, weather permitting. All the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. The drinks were under UK prices. The hotel package was extremely generous with complimentary cakes and open sandwiches in the afternoon which were always gratefully received after a long walk. There was also a complimentary fruit bowl in the reception area. This is an excellent holiday hotel and we would both recommend it."

"Everything you need plus an excellent spa. The rooms are very practical, spaciuous enough with lot of room to store your belongings. Bathroom is perfect. Commity room is hospitable and practical for playing games and sit with your company. Breakfast is superb and very well managed. The spa was an absolute bonus."

"Extremely enjoyable August 2022 and 2023 This was our second year in a row to stay at the park hotel. It's the first time that we have returned to the same hotel. That is because the staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They do a half board stay which suits us perfectly. You can make a packed lunch as part of that also. There are cold meats, cheeses, water fruit and snack bars left there for you. Plenty of rolls and pastries also. The evening meal is four courses with salads also. You can have wines, beer and water with your meal included. We had a lovely relaxing time and wished we were staying two weeks when it came to leave on Saturday. Thanks to all the lovely staff at the park hotel. If you book a French balcony room there is no balcony to sit out on but a bigger room. So this year we choose a room with a balcony. The free travel card that you get from the hotel is brilliant. There are free guided walks which we enjoyed last year. If you are going on a hike into the hills on any of the guided walks you will be required to have suitable foot wear, walking poles (which you can rent from the tourist office) sun block suitable clothing and snacks and water. Two evenings there was live music in the square and the Queen tribute band was amazing. There was a brass band on the Friday night which was great also. I think these events are on all during the summer season as we were at something similar last year. The photo I added is from the guided walk last year up to the herbal garden in the mountain. Once there you can enjoy fabulous views, homemade lemonade, beer herbal teas and much more. "

"Our second visit to Austria and after five years we have been lucky to return. Previously stayed at The Hotel Wirtshaus Post and had no hesitation in a return. The hotel as great as ever, staff were all excellent and very attentive. Hotel lovely and clean and food super. The location in the town is very good. Everything 100% +. Congrats to all at the Hotel for keeping standards so high and making a fantastic holiday for us. Hope we will be able to return again. - Karl"

"We had a lovely time in the Tirol apartment. Two nice bedrooms and a cosy Kitchen/livingroom and it was very clean and really nice. The host is very friendly - and you can order fresh bread for breakfast - Really nice. And the view is breathtaking. Close to the lift up to the mountain. We can highly recommend it."
