Kunming Green Lake Atour Hotel Reviews

Hotel is clean and located at a convenient location with many restaurants and shops in walking distance. Green lake is Abt 10 to 15 mins walk from hotel. Bed is huge and comfortable to sleep in. Balcony is a surprise and we love having our breakfast and evening chats at the lovely balcony. Only con is housekeeping forgot to make up our room on the first day. We had to call housekeeping to clear up the bins and provide new towels.

Very nice place! Super good location and close by garden, shopping, train station etc. Service is very good and staff are very nice!

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a great location just opposite the Yuantong Temple and a short 10 minute walk to the Green Lake Park. It's also not too far a walk (~25 mins) to the pedestrian streets for shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful and happy to provide us directions for our travels. Breakfast staff and selection were excellent. We would stay here again.

The room is clean with ample drinking water. Love the flowers in the courtyard as with the setup of coffee tables and chairs.

This is what you call a boutique hotel that is relatively new. The service is excellent. The front desk is friendly helpful. The room is a fairly good size with all the amenities. Nice decor modern they offer a free popcorn and a specialty drinks when I first check in. The price is less than half of the price of nearby green lake, a much much older hotel. Overall, I’m happy with this hotel and I will stay again. Hotel is clean offers free laundromat on the second floor with free detergent. Breakfast is good as a varieties of food and the free coffee through a state of the art coffee machine.

Good location. Neat and clean. Rooms were very spacious. Everything in the refrigerator was free.

Delicious Breakfast Good location. Opposite Yuantong Temple. Near Green Lake, 10 minutes walk or just 10 CNY. Nice small hotel. Good service. If you can’t speak Chinese, you can communicate via translate app. Staffs were happy to help. No coffee in our room types, only tea.

Great location. The service is so so. The front desk take every chance to persuade people to buy membership that’s really annoying.

Right by the Green Lake, the location is very convenient~ What is more surprising is that the view of the room terrace is great. It is very comfortable to sit outside and enjoy the cool breeze at night~ The room is quite large and convenient to use, especially the bathroom is much more spacious than the old five-star hotel Green Lake where I stayed a few days ago, and it is very comfortable to use~ The room items are also very complete, the toiletries are quite useful, and the small trash can on the counter is also very convenient~ The laundry supplies and dryer are also very useful~ The complimentary Atour biscuits are delicious, and the breakfast is also very varied and fresh~ If you want to play slowly near Green Lake, I highly recommend staying at this Atour, which is very cost-effective~

This Atour Hotel has maintained its usual standards, with clean rooms, attentive service without being too enthusiastic to make people uncomfortable. The small garden room on the top floor I booked was a special surprise. It was very healing to sit in the small garden and chat in a daze before going to sleep every night.

Hygiene: No problem, two alcohol cotton pads are provided on the toilet, which is quite detailed. Service: The overall service is more concerned with humanistic care than the high-end international chain brands. Breakfast is also OK, meeting simple business requirements. There are welcome fruits after check-in, free mini bar, rich categories, bottled tea, brewed tea, drip coffee, a bottle of beer (I forgot others), these two services can reach the international five-star level. Before check-in, there is a phone call to inform the parking lot address, and after arriving at the store, hot tea is delivered and the room type is upgraded (although it was not informed at check-in, I found it after I moved in). But there are two suggestions: 1. Since good night oat milk is provided, it is recommended that guests who have not checked in at a certain time in the evening can contact to confirm whether the guests need to provide it, and reserve it in advance. 2. It is obvious that the guests have drunk alcohol before arriving at the store. It is recommended to be more discerning and prepare honey lemon tea for them directly, instead of standardized ordinary welcome hot tea. This detail should be the difference between Atour and other international chain hotels, but it is not done. Environment: Located opposite the popular Yuantong Temple, it is a good choice for those who love to burn incense. The upgraded room has a courtyard, and the environment is better. But the sound insulation is not good. At 6:30, the neighbor started to use water and open the courtyard door. The noise was very loud and I was woken up, which was very unpleasant. Facilities: The bedding is really very comfortable. The bed is large, with moderate hardness and softness. It is not too soft to cause deep sinking. The mattress is very soft and comfortable. There are many styles of pillows, the bedding fabric is firm and soft, and the skin feels good. The overall feeling is better than most international five-star hotels. This is a big thumbs up! The facilities in the room basically meet the requirements. It would be better if two cotton pads could be added to the care set. There is no parking lot downstairs in the hotel, which is a big deduction. After parking the car, you have to drag your luggage for about four or five minutes, and you have to cross the road. It is very inconvenient, which is a big deduction, enough to cause you not to choose this hotel next time.

The room is a normal business suite with all the necessary infrastructure, good sound insulation and basically no noisy sounds. The price-performance ratio is also good, 350 per person, which is an acceptable price.

Compared with Kunming hotels, the room rate is slightly higher, but it wins in terms of location and the Atour brand. It is estimated that the room is fully booked, and the floor attendants have no time to clean the room. We stayed in the room at 4 pm, but the room was not cleaned up. We were outside all the time, so it didn't affect us much.
