Hotels in North Railway Station, Kunming

We had a great stay at this hotel, where we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a larger room, thanks to the kind receptionist. The room was equipped with smart home features, adding a modern touch to our stay. There’s also a convenient and affordable fruit stall right across the hotel, perfect for a quick snack, and calling for a Didi was easy with the hotel’s prime location. Additionally, housekeeping made sure everything was consistently restocked, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience throughout our stay.

A nice hotel, the room was rather spacious and clean. The receptionists can’t speak English but it didn’t cause any misunderstanding, they’re pretty friendly and helpful. The breakfast starts rather early, but the variety of food isn’t big, all in all enough to have a meal ;-) The location is nice too, the subway station is just 5-7 mins walk. The city’s sightseeings are possible to reach on foot if you don’t mind walking. Also possible to ride a bike. I would recommend this hotel)

The experience is quite good. There are only three suites in total, each with a different interior design. A suite has a master bedroom and a second bedroom, and can usually sleep 4 people. I ordered two sets for my friends, and the other one will be used as my wedding house. The living room public areas of the three suites are suitable for gatherings of a dozen friends, and the atmosphere is good. There is no front desk service like in a hotel here. Check-in is done by communicating with the housekeeper via WeChat. As for transportation, the Jiaosanqiao subway station is 50 meters downstairs and it takes 10 minutes to walk to Golden Eagle. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but we left after 1 night The no smoking policy is not enforced, the room smelled like smoke and also common areas with clear no smoking signs, even the laundry where we were washing our clothes smells bad. That was very very annoying. Another big problem is that if your room smell like smoke and you open the window on the backyard your room will then smell like sewage, awfully disgusting. During our stay we also had a water shortage so no possibilities of taking a shower or using the toilet (crazy eh?) Besides that the hotel is really cool as they provide everything you may need for free (laundry, toiletries, snacks, water and so on). That was really appreciated and we regret having to leave because of that. Also the staff, despite the situation was really good and understanding, especially Zhangdeyun that gave us a lot of information and helped us during the check in

I took my mother out for a trip, and the last stop was Kunming. The hotel is in a good location. It costs 12 yuan to take a taxi to Tangzixiang subway station, and then take Line 6 to the airport. I went to Dianchi Lake and took Line 5. The business twin room is very large and the breakfast is very delicious. The hotel is newly renovated and the facilities are very new. I originally planned to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Tangzixiang, which has a better location, but in terms of cost performance, this one is much cheaper, and the extra money I spent on the taxi can be ignored

The jacaranda trees at the entrance of the hotel are particularly beautiful. The front desk upgraded the room for me, but the room has a bit of odor, the wallpaper is cracked quite seriously, and there is a lot of scale at the shower head. I suggest that the owner should renovate it.

The room is very spacious, clean and tidy, without any odor, the service is very good, you can refill the mineral water for free, there is also a water dispenser at the front desk, there is free breakfast and parking, there are many mosquitoes in Kunming, there are electric mosquito coils in the room, and the jacaranda trees on the road downstairs are very beautiful.

I looked at the comments on Ctrip and set this hotel. The stay was very good. The lobby was spacious and clean. The room was spacious and clean. There was a password box, a small refrigerator, and a water purifier. You can drink pure water directly. Breakfast is also good, the front desk and service staff are also very good, the price is close to the people. I will stay in Kunming in the future!

The food at Xiaoma's Restaurant next to it is also delicious. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the service is very good and friendly. Suitable for traveling with children and the elderly.
