Hotels in Dianchi Lake Scenic Area, Kunming

We stayed at Novotel Kunming from January 2-5th in a double bedded room, and my experience was nothing short of excellent. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help. The front desk team were courteous and helpful too. We forgotten to ask for make up room when we went out and the front desk actually asked a cleaning lady named Mandy to help us clean after work time. This is providing us extra miles. The room is equipped with smart sanitary system like Japan and They even provide you a Dyson hairdryer with accessories. Not to mention ball pit and reading area for kids. Complimentary coffee and tea at the lobby 24/7. Same goes for complimentary self service for washer and dryer located at 20th floor. The amenities provided here was so convenient for families.

Nice resort look. Room had a breezy balcony, no AC was needed in early September, day or night. Short walk to the Dianchi lake. Bus station is across the road with access to many busses. Take bus 44, 2 stations to Subway Yuhucun station and line 5 (about 1 mile from the hotel), Rent a bike (70 Yuan/day), Beautiful ride doing the north loop of the lake, about 20 Km 2 hours, most of the path is wide, dedicated bike trail, only the last 2/3 Km is a bit tricky (going CCW) Just outside the hotel people are selling tickets to the Xishan, West Hill top (bus and cable car ride for 90 Yuan/person, about a half-day trip) Ms Moon with ctrip at the front desk was very helpful.

The room was very clean and the whole house was smart. The hotel is also very new. It is about 600-700 meters away from Sunac Commercial Pedestrian Street, and it is very convenient to eat and drink around. It is a bit inconvenient to go to the city for traffic. But the wetland park around Dianchi Lake is within walking distance. The Grand View Building is also not far away. Overall the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Hope to keep

Service: Introduced the surrounding attractions, and reminded that the seagulls will migrate soon in this season, and the seagulls will have a hard mouth, so it is not recommended to feed them. Facilities: All the necessary facilities are available, that is, the screen of the room projection will rise and fall by itself. It is estimated that it is the same model and is controlled by the neighboring remote control.

首先第一點，對女性住客非常友好，難得看到有酒店能夠把所有一次性用品，包括一次性馬桶墊都備齊的。其次，酒店的位置和交通都挺便利的，就在民族村停車場門口，抬頭就能看到。還有就是前台服務態度挺好的，酒店房間內各種設施都配置的很齊全。如果有想要來民族村玩的朋友，真的強烈推薦它家。
