"I had the pleasure of staying at Harbour Komodo Hotel, and it was an outstanding experience! The location of the hotel is simply perfect – it's situated in a prime area, making it incredibly easy to explore the island has to offer in walking distance. The staff here were exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to help. They were attentive, professional, and always ready with recommendations or assistance whenever needed. It's clear that they go above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and valued.
The room itself was everything I could have hoped for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a great night's sleep after a day of exploring. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, making it feel like a true home away from home. I particularly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind and relax.
Lastly, the feeling of safety was something I truly appreciated during my stay. The hotel’s security measures gave me peace of mind, and the area surrounding the hotel felt secure and welcoming.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable in Labuan Bajo, well-located, and safe place to stay with outstanding service. I can’t wait to return! Thank you so much."
"Very cute hotel far away from the hussel and bussel of everything.
While the distance might inconvenience some, that was exactly what we were looking for.
As mentioned in the other comments, the hotel isn’t the easiest to get to as you have to go down a little goat path if you come in from the top of the mountain.
Definitely recommend getting the shuttle offered by the hotel to pick you up from the airport as our taxi driver had a hard time finding it haha.
Super friendly staff, ready to help no matter the issue, even carried our (and in my case very heavy) suitcases down the path.
Food is average but prepared with care. Electricity and (hot) water is limited and internet is only available in the main area from 6-9pm but they extended that time for us as we were the only people there at that time.
Cute little beach in front of the hotel though there is a lot of trash (not the hotel’s fault- visible across all the islands)
Just 1 tip: BRING MOSQUITO SPRAY! 🤭"

"The beds are very big and comfy in very clean rooms. The bathrooms were also clean and always had soap, body wash, and toilet paper. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They spent a lot of time trying to help me book transport when I couldn’t do it alone. I would recommend solo travellers to stay here for the location beside dive shops and the comfort of the rooms."
"We got an upgrade to the suite and it was amazing. Great view, nice food and really accommodating, friendly staff. They also arranged a driver for the day for us, and our D much appreciated. "

Great
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel and rooms. The lobby and room views are amazing.
They organize a free snorkeling trip at a nearby beach.
Staff are super friendly and lovely.
Just be prepared that service can be a bit slow at breakfast. Coffee and eggs sometimes need several reminders. Some staff English is not so good but they try hard. So pls be patient and understanding
I needed medical attention ( luckily not serious) but a call in doctor and medication took several hours. The hotel was very apologetic and tried their best to help. Overall Labuan Bajo is a slow service town so expect to be just chill and take things easy.
Overall enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much and would highly recommend it.
Beautiful sunset !
PPorkenNew Hotel, nice view and decor.
Check out their new restaurant at level 8, the kliff. I think the Kliff signature pizza is not bad. The restaurant at level 2 serve nice local food
Staff are very friendly and responsive.
They help to prepare breakfast box as we inform them we are going for early tour.
They have many free water activities like paddle boat, water bicycle, kayak. There is also yoga and boxing class u can book during ya stay here.
A 5min walk to Ayana if you want to check out Ayana. But I think Katamaran is much more nicer in term of the facade. Their staff is much more helpful and cheerful as well.
If you want to go to the city, either get the hotel staff to arrange a taxi about 100k IDR or simply do a gojek bike at 15.5k IDR.
Heard they have a new boat - black swan going to be operational from next month onward. Perhap they will have their own island trip, you all could lookout for that
A very enjoyable stay here. Cya again Katamaran!!
GGuest UserI love the style of this resort, very beautiful and nicely done. The garden looks great and well maintained.
Food is delicious, we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner.
The private beach is ok, not particularly suitable for water activities. But the pool is nice.
Staff are friendly.
Overall great experience. I would choose this one again if I come back.
GGuest UserThis hotel is best in the Main Street, not far from pier and right next to the night market. I love their lobby is very chill and facing the sea. Seaview room is nice but just bear in mind there will be some noises from boat coming back late in the night. They have a spa/massage. Kids club and gym is small and I did not use them.
The local tour is organised by East Cruise, surprisingly good price compared to what you can find on the street, i,e, for reference, Red Whale asked for 1.5 million to Komodo and they asked for 1.35 million, and East Cruise has a better speedboat with Sundeck. Did not try this time as the travel desk closed at 5.
Overall recommend this if you want a little more comfort over the budget choices on the Main Street.
OoYoYoReally enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend to friend or visit again if I ever visit KOMODO again. The staffs are cheerful, the rooms are nice, the food is not bad. We were luck to stay during the New Year Eve and there are a special celebration dinner with live band and firework, which is really a memorable experience. The beach is ok, you can go further and heard there is a chance to see turtles, however recently it is jelly fish season so we didnt snokel for long, but overally very happy about the stay.
AAMEERUL1. Nice hotel. Like new. Approximately been built within 5 years back.
2. Got android TV but not connected to local or subscribed channel. Need to have your own Netflix account. Frustrated. I give 3/5
2.Location is very subjective. Not in walking travel distance to marina area (food area & sea view) & a bit hilly. Only forest & village view. But distance to the airport is convenient. Only less than 500m to the airport with proper walkway.
AAdrianasarudinFor 2 night in Komodo Lodge, I would say everything in a good condition. For location itself, the hotel can be access by walking distance about 3-5min. Other than that, when we have island tour on the next morning, our breakfast were packed with mineral water. During our stay, the water pipe was broken. Within 2-3 minutes, they send someone to fix it.
AAMEERULEverything is good but
1. The room is too small. Suite only for a couple & can't extra bed because of the space.
2. One of the room (no. 3), the sliding door can't close properly. The hook almost pull out from frame.
3. Not suitable for elderly except the rooms at level ground that can enter from backlane.
GGuest UserVery nice place, bit outside od the city. You can relax on the private beach, which is very nice and clean or on one of Three swimming pools. The staff in the hotel was very friendly, helpful and polite. They tried to manage all requests we’d had. The hotel seems to be a bit outdated, but I observed they’ve started to renovate partially, eg. the beachfront villas have new sleeping rooms, but the bathroom still waits for it, hopefully soon. Breakfast and hotel restaurant is also ok.
WWaynelokIts probably the most convenient hotel to get to get around this area. Room was ok for the price range. BUT, I have had the WORST time in this hotel. My room was on the second floor, right above the club just one floor down. I normally can endure a bit a noise , but this is at a whole new level because my bed was literary vibrating with the bass of the speakers below. And i though since it was impossible to sleep so i went to the club below and maybe have a drink, but when i went it, there were only 1 customer in there 🤣 . Really whats the point hahaha. Anyways i went back to the room and waited until 3am until the music stops and finally i could try and sleep...for 2 hours because need to check out and head to the port to board the boat. So thank you dejavu2.0 for the sleepless night.
