"A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful team of staff. Can’t recommend their names but everyone was attentive to our needs and requests.
The rooms are in three or four, detached houses located next to each other, giving it a cosy, private resort-like place. There s small pools with lounges which is perfect for those who want to laze around.
Location is away from the centre, but it works if you like it this way. Bolt rides are cheap, so this wasn’t a problem to go and return from the centre."

"The hotel is located in a remote area and is not easy to find by taxi. There is construction going on next to the hotel, so it is quite noisy and not many people are staying there. The advantage is that it is very close to the beach. Also, the check-in time should not be too late."

"Charming Residence and Guest House Dom Manuel is a pretty property. There are no lifts, so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The rooms are very comfortable and the amenities are complete. Just opposite the hotel is a self-service laundromat. And just 2-3 mins up the road, is a Chinese restaurant that serves delicious food. The walk into the old city takes about 10-15 mins. Car parking off the street is limited but after work hours, there were free car park spaces further down the road."

Jaoa on check in and Anita Santos, Guest Service are great Ambassadors for there employers.
Accommodation, Spa, Restaurant, bar ( thank you Mario) all delivered more than expected.

GGuest UserIf you wants to have a relax vibe and good view from the room, this hotel is a good pick. But for the quality of the service or amenity, it may be around 3-4 stars. It is a small hotel but with big room and good view, buy you defined need a car to get there. We will come back again if there is a good deal.

JJennyWhen we first booked the resort we were expecting a hotel rather than a resort - so we were surprised when we had the entire ground floor of the building. We really liked the set up of the resorts and is well renovated and taken care by the staffs. Great that they have provided shuttle bus service as it was not an accessible location if you do not drive. We had to call Uber to and from Lagos city centre as it would take us 30 mins of walk in order to reach the city centre. Otherwise, the kitchen was well equipped and even better if they can provide hair dryer without request. In our case, we had to offer a 20 euros deposit in order to lend the hair dryer for use. Apart from that, well done for the maintenance and my friend and I enjoyed the stay a lot.

GGuest UserI had a fabulous stay here. The Hosts were extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. I stayed in both the apartment and a room and the facilities and comfort of both were amazing. Breakfast each day was more than adequate with plenty of variety to choose from. I would have no hesitation about recommending a stay here and will definitely be back again.

GGuest UserA bit of distance from Old Town and city center but very close to Camilo beach and Ponta da Piedade. No /limited water supply on the check out date. Room is nicely designed but limited space to put my stuff. House keeping just replace bedsheet and did not refill supply of sanity kit and water and the second day

A small balcony decorates the whole.
Good address to visit Lagos.
But be careful not to stop. There are only 2 luggage storage offices at the beginning of the street (30m from the hotel)
There are a few vacant places on the street...but the space is full, full
Parking on the boulevard along the canal 600m from the hotel costs 12 Euros/day.

HHumsCakeLoveGreat location, about 10 mins walk to Lagos Old Town and the Lagos Marina. Lots of nice eateries nearby. Emmanuel from the front desk was very helpful to us and showed us the way clearly, recommended some good pastry shops as well. The staff that delivered our dental kits to the room was super unfriendly though.. maybe he just doesn’t like us haha. You can actually get lost in this hotel as it was quite a maze. However the fixtures were so dated and old. The wardrobe in my room was so old it felt like it was going to collapse anytime. There was also a weird super strong chlorine smell in the room and it didn’t dissipate even after a day. Sigh, we realised it could be from the day curtains as they likely had washed it with bleach to remove stains or something.. my husband made a fuss and wanted to change rooms but the hotel seemed full house with tour groups from France, UK and more. Breakfast spread was ok, same food was served for the 2 nights that I stayed. Would be great if they can do some maintainence works such as repainting the entire building. Doors of rooms should be changed too as they were so hard to open and close - you’ll be hearing guests slamming doors to close all the time! Very strange why all of these improvisations were not done when travel was not permitted during COVID times. The hotel would be an absolute beauty otherwise.

GGuest UserThe Belver Porto Dona Maria is a Resort with a big Golfinh place. You book houses there which are en n good shape. Normally Kitchen togethee with big living room, bath with shower and pod and sleeping room. You have all things which are in a kitchen needed also a refrigerator and can cock by yourself. The friendky cleaning service (like Fatima) comes ever day and so its clean. The manager of the property will gelp you if you sre in trouble. A big swimming pool area is included to visit. You have a card for using it.Also the location is n near of the beach a small walk brings you to panorama views and amazing clips. I‘ve enjoyed the place and other people looking at my, of course its cheaper to book than a little hotel room of course Praia da loose is expensive.

GGuest UserGood morning, the positive points are that the hotel is well located and spacious, the rooms are beautiful, the house is good, the breakfast is very good, the staff are friendly, the pool is good
The least positive point was the cleaning on the first day everything was clean on the second day they didn't clean the room or take out the trash and there was a lack of toilet paper and baking paper.
Access to the pool for people with reduced mobility is difficult because it was my husband's house as he was in a wheelchair, it was difficult and they also didn't have any rooms available for people with reduced mobility because there was only one and it was occupied, but for a hotel like this there should be more availability or more access for people with physical and motor disabilities.
But I still enjoyed my stay.

GGuest UserAmazing value! Breakfast was great, and the sweet rice pudding was the best I have ever tasted. Room and bathroom in excellent condition, quiet and comfortable (I am in off season tho). Staff were friendly and helpful, and info is also provided in room. Was not sure at first because it is on the top of a hill so a climb to get to from town, but still only a 10 min walk and 5 mins walk from the cliffs for spectacular sunrises. Also a large free carpark opposite.
