Hotels near Ponta Da Piedale, Lagos

I stopped in the town of Lagos for a day during a business trip and thought Hotel 56 was quite nice. It's a boutique design hotel, and the hotel manager told me it just opened this year. It's a renovated 200-year-old house with three floors and 22 rooms, and you can tell the hotel's decor and details show a lot of care. It was off-season, so it wasn't crowded. They close from December to February for the holidays. The front desk manager, Christopher, was very professional and patient! He talked to me a lot about local history and introduced nearby attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was à la carte, and everything was amazing. I rented a car, and after unloading my luggage at the entrance, I had to park in a parking lot a three-minute walk away.

PROS: Met me with a bottle of sparkling wine and a cake in the room on my birthday. That was really nice. Nice wine. Great location. CONS: : As to the total design of room I was a bit disappointed. The pictures looked nicer than in reality. I had Deluxe Room. The terrace is situated so inconvenient—＞ it follows another on in front. So no privacy at all. The distance b/w 2 terraces less than a meter. Pool is super small. It is situated in the area of bar and breakfast zone. I think it is uncomfortable to use it. For maximum 2 people. Breakfast is not cost its money. Everyday the same Tiny reception. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel—＞ price vs value.

Charming Residence and Guest House Dom Manuel is a pretty property. There are no lifts, so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The rooms are very comfortable and the amenities are complete. Just opposite the hotel is a self-service laundromat. And just 2-3 mins up the road, is a Chinese restaurant that serves delicious food. The walk into the old city takes about 10-15 mins. Car parking off the street is limited but after work hours, there were free car park spaces further down the road.

A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful team of staff. Can’t recommend their names but everyone was attentive to our needs and requests. The rooms are in three or four, detached houses located next to each other, giving it a cosy, private resort-like place. There s small pools with lounges which is perfect for those who want to laze around. Location is away from the centre, but it works if you like it this way. Bolt rides are cheap, so this wasn’t a problem to go and return from the centre.

Very big room, very friendly staff, pretty place! Enjoyed the stay, only downfall was there was next to no vegan options on the menu!

Of the pluses: The apartments are small but quite comfortable. The main + for me is having a washing machine that also dries clothes well. Location is good, there are all the dishes and everything necessary for cooking, pillows, pads, tugging, vent Minorities: ”to get the keys you need to go to another address and it is not mentioned! I spent about an hour trying to call them to find out where their office is, it's horrible! Although the guys in the office are very nice, to call/to finish this separate quest! - it smells so much moisture and black mold, for more than 2 nights I wouldn 't stay only because of health threats ”This is the first floor, and the windows are without grids! So when you can no longer breathe black moth and want to open the window, it turns out that any passing person can climb into the window to you!

The hostel is pretty small, but the owner was lovely all the time and I really enjoyed it

It was a great place after two nights, so I extended my stay by two more nights. I asked the reception if I could stay in the same room, and they happily agreed. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable stay. There are also plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it a convenient location.
