"The Park Plaza was centrally located to many parks, cathedrals, and squares where local merchants would gather. A great grocery store was right behind the apartment tower, which was great convenience. The apartment was a two story loft with full kitchen, bathtub and shower, refrigerator, stove cooking utensils, and microwave. It had two balconies on the first and second story. The only complaint really was the couch-more like a futon that sat only inches from the floor, very hard to get out of, and very uncomfortable. I just used the chairs instead. The bed was very comfortable and had televisions on both floors. CNN intl and Fox intl was on both TVs. Definitely a good place to stay for the price. My room had great views of the Andes in the distance. Staff was very accommodating. I will stay here again on my next trip"

"Airport shuttle stops at Estacion Central, cross the road, turn left, walk about 500 meter to arrive Nobile Hotel. Nearest metro station is U de Santiago, Line 1 (red line). From hotel front door, turn right, walk 3-4 minutes. The other station (Estacion Central), 7-8 minures walk, turn left from hotel front door). We only used U de Santiago station so far, small and very easy to access. If you can, try to avoid using Estacion Central, the whole neighborhood is full of petty traders who look like illegal immigrants. Smelly, dirty, run down and chaotic streets which will make you feel very unsafe. The hotel room itself is very well kept, good bedding quality, breakfast is reasoable, they even pack for us rich breakfast the last day when we have to leave for airport by 5 am."

"This hotel was built in 1820. It was built by the most famous local architect at that time. It has the flavor of Peace Hotel. If you like the old money style, this hotel is the best choice. The old elevator can still be used. You can see the Notre Dame, the tallest building in South Africa and the Andes Mountains in the distance from the bar and restaurant on the top floor. The sunset and the moon are beautiful. I stayed here for eight days. All the staff knew me and were very friendly to me. The breakfast was also very rich. The bar on the top floor also provided dinner. The hotel is located in the cultural center of Santiago. There are many restaurants, bars and supermarkets around. Basically, famous attractions can be reached by foot. The Notre Dame is near a large catering center opposite the hotel. You can take a cable car up the mountain to see the scenery of the whole city. There is an art market not far from the hotel, selling some interesting gadgets. Opposite the hotel is a huge open park where you can run. On the carriage road built in 1900, the park was built along the road for about two kilometers. At the end of the left hand is the National Gallery."
