Location was great - about 4 mins walk from Fuzhou North Railway Station. Initially, we're supposed to stay at level 6 but the front counter staff mentioned that they will be having maintenance the following in day - and may experience a shortage of power so we got relocated to level 2. The area also had roadworks on-going so taking didi requires re-route. Overall, a good experience staying here except for the very strong cigarette smell on the level we stayed at, the walls were pretty thin as well.

The environment here is great, and I really enjoyed the voice-controlled room features. The location is also very convenient, just a stone's throw from the subway station, and the service was excellent. Downstairs, there's a food street with delicious roasted sugarcane juice. Hmm, so good!

Orange Hotel, a mid - range comfortable hotel under Huazhu, is located at No. 472, Hualin Road, Jin'an District, Fuzhou. It faces Fuzhou North Bus Station and Fuzhou Railway Station directly. The surrounding area has well - developed facilities, integrating food, shopping, entertainment, and business, which can meet diverse needs. Orange Hotel conveys a free and open lifestyle and creates an American - style free accommodation experience.
The hotel features a warm and energetic style, encourages guests to incorporate sports into their lives and explore the city. It creates a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, transmits a healthy, sunny, and happy - living brand image, and looks forward to the arrival of guests to start a wonderful journey.
This was my first time staying at an Orange Hotel for a business trip. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was struck by the vibrant colors. The oranges on the table were very sweet, and the staff seemed quite youthful – the overall vibe was really pleasant. As someone who travels frequently, the first thing I do when I get into a room is boil water to sterilize the cups. To my surprise, I didn't have to pull the cord out from under the kettle to plug it in! Finally, a hotel that's thoughtful enough to save me that hassle. I've attached a picture – I really hope all hotels can offer this kind of service. The hot water pressure was fantastic, washing away all my fatigue. Whether it's because the hotel is new and the items haven't seen much use, or if this brand simply has great bedding, I felt incredibly relaxed the moment I leaned back on the headboard. The TV was huge, and I couldn't resist checking it out. I noticed it had screen mirroring, so I tried it with my phone. Bingo! What a pleasant surprise – I could cast movies with excellent quality. It felt like a secret vacation perk during a business trip. The lyrics say, 'comfortably curled up on the sofa on the weekend,' but for me, it was 'comfortably curled up in bed on a business trip.' Fuzhou's fish balls and 'rou yan' (meat swallows) are quite unique, and the yogurt bar lets you add all sorts of toppings. There were plenty of steamed items, and you could even customize your own sandwiches. Breakfast was really satisfying, and the city itself is quite interesting. Many of the hotel's packaging and design details were very creative – I think I have pretty good taste, if I do say so myself. I hope frequent business travelers like me can secretly feel like they're on vacation here. Shhh… don't tell the boss!

Great design, awesome technology like robot room service. Breakfast was immense. Bed was comfortable. Easy access to railway station by DiDi. We had a good sized, well laid out corner room on level 8, non smoking room. Staff friendly and helpful. Used translator app to communicate which was easy. Slept well. Smoking in entrance was stinky and I feel for the staff working at reception with smoke all day. Lifts are slow, plan on waiting time. Used washing machine but it didn’t get out clothes clean. Not sure if it was user error or not.

DDaniel RodThe hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street.
The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist.
The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries.
The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same).
In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.
KKafeihentianEvery staff member at the hotel was incredibly kind and patient. They'd escort you to your room, help with luggage, and all visible snacks and drinks were complimentary. It was very relaxing. Getting to Sanfang Qixiang was also super convenient. The room had tea and books, and these books introduced famous figures and literati who lived in Sanfang Qixiang.
Welcome fruits and a greeting gift were delivered directly to the room.
For the Chinese bead stringing cultural experience, my child still wears the beads they strung themselves.
Besides these, you could also make your own postcards and lacquer fans.
Finally, we even received a parting gift.
Fuzhou's winter really isn't cold at all; I even saw mosquitoes!
GGuest UserThe room isn't huge, but it's very clean. While not in the absolute center, the location is quieter within the park area and convenient for getting around, with plenty of food options nearby. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Plus, there's a robot delivery service for takeaways! The room is well-equipped with all the amenities you need. Definitely worth a stay.
GGuest UserI was very satisfied with this hotel. Upon arrival, they upgraded my room, and for the May Day holiday, they even prepared a festive welcome gift – a truly delightful surprise!
The room was an Executive King, very spacious, and even included a hot tub with bath salts for a relaxing soak. The slippers were of good quality, not the usual disposable fabric type.
Breakfast selection was quite good for a four-star hotel, featuring hot dishes. You could even customize your own hot pot with options like beef eye, fish balls, and more. It really had a distinctive Fujian flavor.

GGuest UserMy stay at the Hilton Fuzhou Sanfang was truly exceptional, setting a benchmark for hotel experiences. The room design maintained Hilton's signature understated elegance, with light gray soft furnishings complemented by traditional Chinese art, showcasing exquisite attention to detail. The high-floor, floor-to-ceiling windows offered unobstructed views of the Min River, with the misty rain adding a unique ambiance to the riverside scenery. The bathroom was well-designed with a dry/wet separation, featuring premium marble flooring, and the freestanding bathtub directly overlooked the river, providing an immersive and luxurious experience. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, exceeding my expectations for a good night's sleep. The butler, Nick, provided prompt and efficient service, making the entire stay seamless and pleasant.
GGuest UserThe environment is very good, the facilities are relatively complete, there is a washing machine, the transportation is convenient, the service attitude is warm, the room is very clean, and it is well received. The location of the hotel is very good. There is a highway intersection nearby. It is also very convenient to go to other attractions. It is worth staying. The service is very good, the room facilities are complete, the hygiene is very clean, the breakfast tastes great, the parking is convenient, the family is very satisfied, and will book next time. The parking is convenient, very comfortable, great, the environment is very good, the breakfast is very good, very good. There is also a self-service laundry room, a garden, a lot of snacks around the hotel, and a night market. The service of every employee in the hotel is very good, very good, very good, five-star praise.
GGuest UserThe staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even before my arrival. They tried to contact me in advance, but as a foreign guest, I do not have a Chinese phone number. It would be more convenient if the hotel could ask for guests’ WeChat IDs through the Trip.com messenger instead. Upon arrival, the staff created a WeChat group and added me in, which turned out to be very helpful. Through the group, they assisted with all kinds of questions, such as recommended places to visit, how to rent an e-bike, and where to eat nearby. The responsiveness and service were excellent.
The room was awesome — very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the view was fantastic. I also really loved the projector screen in the room, which allowed me to watch WeTV shows and other content. It made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable.
The hotel provides e-bike rentals, which is a great feature. However, I was personally under-geared for the weather. It rained the day before, and the entire day was cloudy with temperatures around 11°C. The sea breeze was very strong and cold, especially when riding the e-bike with the wind blowing directly at you. Proper winter gear is definitely needed in such conditions. If the hotel could provide glove and jacket rentals, that would be an amazing improvement.
In the evening, the staff even brought a small gift to the room. The gift was thoughtful and practical, and I really liked it — it was a warm and welcoming gesture that made the stay feel extra special.
Breakfast was okay. Guests are seated on Level 2, and the meal is served to the table. As I come from a place where some Chinese do not consume beef, it would be great if there were options such as chicken or beef. That said, the beef noodles were actually very good. The Western-style breakfast, however, was quite average.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to Juchunyuan and Dameng Food Street, and across from Dameng is Sanfang Qixiang, which is super convenient. It's also very close to the subway station, making getting around a breeze. The hotel's cleanliness is good, and the rooms aren't small, with all the necessary amenities. I hope the breakfast selection could be a bit more varied, but it's not a big deal since Fuzhou has so many great local snacks. On the last day, they kindly extended my check-out time to 2:30 PM, which was very thoughtful and perfectly aligned with my train schedule. Excellent service!
GGuest UserBooked too late, so all the hotels in the city center couldn't accommodate my booking requirements. I had no choice but to opt for Shoukia Junlan Hotel. The hotel's location is indeed a bit out of the way, but it's right by a subway station, which is convenient for those without a car. The subway goes directly to the Sanqixiang Scenic Area. Since I arrived quite late on the day of check-in, I had dinner directly at the ground floor restaurant. The hotel's Chinese food was quite good and the portions were generous. We ate until past 9 PM, and the staff were still very polite and didn't complain. Also, Auntie Zhu Yuanyuan, our room attendant on the tenth floor, was incredibly warm and polite, always ready to help with anything we needed. She promptly arranged anything we requested. Highly recommend!

AAnh-BaoThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.
