"Though the room design is a bit outdated, the room is clean and no smoking stench. Strong hot shower pressure and fast WiFi. Window is able to open so didn't need to turn on aircon. Cleaning ladies are very nice and gives free fruits everyday. Front desk also provides souvenir after check out. Location is perfect as the biggest shopping mall is right opposite the hotel."

"The location is excellent walking distance to sanfangaixiang and dongjiekou shoppjng Center. I arrived date after 10pm and the friendly reception staff directed me to Daming food street nearby. They also gave me a free breakfast as I had checked in very late. Clean and new, highly recommended !"

"We had stayed in Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel for 4 nights and then extended for another 2 nights. The Executive Floor rooms are spacious, well maintained and with good views. The many value added services that came with the Executive Room was a very pleasant surprise. These included daily access to the Exec Lounge for high tea and happy hour, one piece of free laundry per day, free mini bar drinks and daily fruit platter (both replenished daily). The service staff stationed on the Executive Floor is efficient, responsive and always ready to greet us with a cheerful smile. The hotel is just next to West Lake and cane be conveniently access via access gate to the broadwalk. Will highly recommend this hotel especially the Executive Rooms."

"Generally we had a wonderful stay with excellent service from the staffs at the reception and breakfast.  The buggy service was great to send us to or pick us from the gantry of the street.  It was thoughtful of the hotel to provide guests hot tea or water at the reception area.  It adds convenient for any tiring and thirsty returning hotel guests. The only thing we did not enjoy was visitors from outside who walk into the Courtyard where our ground floor rooms are located.  I had a shock when a couple of guys who peep into our room only realised later they were non hotel guests.  A few times it happened with some visitors peeping as we did not close our main door for our 2 neighbouring rooms.  The management should consider using the key tapped glass door similar to the one outside the breakfast room, as visitors can still view the small MingGuo Yuen courtyard with the double storey rooms through the glass  doors.  This also helps to avoid noisy visitors disturbing our rest in the room. Lastly the breakfast was reasonable and I love the hot soup noodle with Fuzhou fishball and dumplings.  Overall its an excellent stay, convenient location to the train station and definitely the tourist street SanFanQiXiang."

"My wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhou’s historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhou—all within easy walking distance, including access to the metro. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breeze—under three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture. The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhou’s rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasure—learning about the city’s architecture, the hotel’s own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Roy’s attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldn’t recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough.
