Hotels near Kimiidera Temple, Wakayama City

Highly recommend this great hotel!!! Clean, big room, super nice view (wakayama castle right outside the window), very convenient location with ¥1000 parking (24 hrs) right opposite the hotel. Breakfast was superb and would definitely choose Daiwa Roynet Hotels in next visits to Japan.

The location is awesome as it is right beside Wakayamashi Station. Many food choices nearby and there is a library beside it. Breakfast buffet spread is decent but the views are great.

A very clean hotel and staffs very helpful. Location is perfect, only 3 - 4 mins walk to Wakayama Station. Enough space to store and open your luggage in the room. Lots of restaurants nearby. Free breakfast is simple but tasty. Hotel provide free coffee and a selection of tea bags all through the day, it's very nice. They even provide free postcards for guests to send to their home, love it! Will definitely choose Comfort Hotel Wakayama again next time when I visit there.

Nearby to train station and easy to find the hotel; right along the main road. Provided ramen for supper ; onsen bath was great… breakfast spread was really plentiful. Pudding in room…

Simple and basic. Brand new. Easy to get in and out. Lots of privacy with one lift going up and another lift going down. They also do room rentals with 2 hours minimum.

Value for money. For the price paid. Can't complain much as got free driving from Kada station to the hotel. Cons is need to get the pic from train station to call as the number on the Google map and the banner can't go through. Recommended to use the hotel transport as walking is too far. Pros everything. There is a laundry coin as well which save our life alot as we travel 3 weeks to Japan. Do note the awajima shrine is just beside this hotel. Must visit and do see the sunset and sunrise. Smile Hotel Wakayama is conveniently located right beside Wakayama Castle, making it a great choice for sightseeing and exploring the area. Overall, we had a good stay and a pleasant experience. Although the hotel’s renovation and interior are slightly outdated, the room was still clean and comfortable. Considering the price and the excellent location, it is more than acceptable and offers great value for money. What truly stood out was the excellent service from the front desk staff. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. We encountered a problem with our car during our stay, and the staff kindly assisted us by contacting the police and helping us handle the situation, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel with a fantastic location and outstanding service.

Nine years ago, I visited here once, and I never expected to stay in the exact same room nine years later. The location and surroundings are excellent, the service quality is outstanding, and the food is superb. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality this time.
