Room number three. The room is tiny, cramped even for one person. Two people would be unbearable. It's very stuffy with high humidity. You constantly have to open the window, otherwise, you'd suffocate. Finding the hotel is very difficult as there's no sign on the building. There's only an A4 paper sign deep inside the entrance hall, which is hard to spot. If I hadn't read other reviews, I would never have found this guesthouse. It's on the 4th floor and there's no elevator. The hallway is dirty. The location is excellent though. The metro is 40 meters away. Bus 6001 to the airport is across the street. There are many shops and eateries nearby, catering to all tastes. The staff are always ready to help, even remotely. They aren't always on-site.

This hotel is really close to Jongno 3-ga Station, making it super convenient for getting to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Myeongdong. The room was a bit small, but very clean. You can store your luggage before check-in, and the self-check-in process was a breeze. For a Seoul city center hotel, it offers excellent value for money.

I recently stayed at Insadong Crown Hotel during my solo trip to Seoul, and it was the perfect choice. As a solo traveler, location and safety are very important to me — and this hotel delivered on both.
The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Insadong, within walking distance of traditional shops, cozy cafés, street food spots, and subway stations. It made exploring the city so easy, even on my own. I always felt safe walking around the area, even in the evening.
The room was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for one person. After long days of sightseeing, it was nice to return to a quiet and cozy space to rest. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had questions about directions or recommendations.

Since it was just opened, I searched for it on Naver Maps or Kakao Maps and it didn't come up, so I was worried it might actually be there, but it turned out fine!
There was no floor guide on the website, so just to clarify, there is a kiosk on the 4th floor where you can check in, receive your room number and go to your room. The elevator goes up to the 5th floor, and there is a common space on the 6th floor where you can enjoy a cafe corner, ramen, and other services. The microwave was broken so I couldn't heat up my tteokbokki, which was disappointing 😭
The room was clean and had a refrigerator and table, so I had a comfortable stay!

Given the price paid, the location of this hotel is superb as it is near the subway station (jongno sam ga) which gives you access to 3 different subway lines. Essentially, this hotel is located within insadong and ikseondong area and it is within 5-10 min walking distance to a lot of famous cafes at ikseondong and anguk. At night, there are many pochas and eateries options available. The hotel provide free snacks (gummy, chips and cake) and beverage/bottled water and is generous enough to top up daily. The room is considered spacious and they tidy up the room and provide free towels daily. The only downside was the weird format of the room in which the toilet and shower area was separate and there was also 2 gaming pc in the room. Had a decent stay at this hotel.

The team at Five Hotel were professional, helpful, friendly and accommodating making our short stay pleasant. They helped us book taxis and loaned us a travel adaptor for a small fee which we got back when we returned the adaptor. There is a fantastic laundry room, communal eating area, massage chairs and even a range of foods that can be purchased for those late night hunger pains. We found the hotel was very hard to find and wondered if it might be a good idea to provide detailed instructions on how to get there from the train station for first time travellers to Seoul Korea. My sister and I had a wonderful time and stay. We look forward to our next visit to South Korea 🇰🇷❤️

I had a pleasant stay at Ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong. Upon check-in, I requested to change my room from a twin to a double, and the staff were very accommodating and handled it smoothly, which I really appreciated.
The room itself was clean and comfortable. The hotel’s location is also a big plus, convenient and well-situated for exploring the area.
Overall, a great experience with helpful service, cleanliness, and a good location. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Had a lovely stay at New Seoul Hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, especially when we were finding our way around Seoul (The second picture the staff printed out the ways for us to get to Elysian Ski Park 🥺). The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the doorman and cleaners always greeted us warmly, which made our mornings better. The price is reasonable for the location, and Myeongdong is just around a 20-minute walk. Overall, very happy with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

Two women stayed here, and the area around the hotel was bustling with restaurants like chicken places and insa-nekko (likely referring to a lively street or area), so even though we arrived late, we felt safe.
However, one thing to note is that the hotel is on the 6th and 7th floors of a building, but there's a karaoke bar on the 5th floor. An old man from the karaoke bar was handing out flyers by the elevator and would approach us quite a bit. That was the only thing I disliked, but if you just tell him you're going to the hotel, he doesn't persistently follow you, so it's fine!
It might have just been our room, but while it was very clean, there was a sewage smell, which was tough because we had to open the window to air it out even though it was cold, haha.
Other than that, it was truly a fantastic hotel!

We enjoyed our stay. The room is quite standard size,
Not too small but there isn’t a big space for you to open up 2 luggages at once. Considering this js Seoul the room size is acceptable. The hotel is located at a quiet neighborhood. Easily accessible using public transport, 30 mins walk to Anguk area or you can directly use the bus (4 stops). There are many local restaurants around to explore as well but you’ll have to use the naver app to look around. Overall if you prefer something quiet and you love walking to explore the area this is nice.
Ps, surrounding nothing to shop unless you head to anguk area.

Water pressure is high, with separate restrooms. Living room had a sliding door to close to separate restrooms and washing basin. Had a small vacancy is more than enough. Location is the best walking distance 2-3mins to hongdiv MRT station exit 9. Overall is professional and high standard of living. I surely with stay again for next trip to Seoul never regret . I like make commitment to housing keeping for the well done, receptionist will help to call taxi for customer . Well done !

GGuest UserThis was my second time staying at Ninetree Insadong, the first time booked on a different platform. The location is excellent, right across from Jogyesa Temple (you can book a room with a temple view) and near two subway stations, Anguk on Line 3 (nearer) and Jonggak on Line 1 (slightly farther but still within walking distance). The location made it easy to get around Seoul by public transport and the hotel is also near the airport bus 6011 stop, so you travel to and from the airport easily. I also appreciated the fact that the hotel is right above the Anyoung Insadong mall which made it convenient to grab snacks or drinks or souvenirs from the mall's shops. You also get easy access to Insadong street with lots of eateries, cafes and souvenir shops. The area has a relaxed cultural vibe without being overcrowded. If you are vegetarian or vegan, the area has a number of vegetarian and vegan eateries. The room itself was fairly standard for a four star hotel. The staff were very helpful when I needed to make calls to a local number to arrange something and also helped with communication and translation. Kudos to the wonderful staff.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts convenient transportation. You can take the airport bus to and from the airport, and the drop-off point is also where you catch the return bus, which is super handy. I took bus 6015 and got off at Myeongdong Station. After getting off, you'll see Subway Exit 8. Head towards Exit 8, and at the first intersection, turn right and walk straight. (Make sure you don't go past the CU convenience store; it's actually right opposite Exit 8.) It's quite close, just a few hundred meters walk. The hotel is also very close to our embassy, which gave me extra peace of mind. Every morning, I could see the embassy from my window seat. The room was a bit small; opening a 28-inch suitcase made it feel a bit cramped, but the hotel's cleanliness was good. The soundproofing was excellent; even though it's in lively Myeongdong, it was very quiet at night, which was fantastic.

AAnonymous UserLoved the location, close to metro and there’s a convenience store onsite. Room was bright, spacious, clean, had well built storage spaces. Gym was spacious, clean and new. Washing machine and dryer in room. The service staff were very polite and helpful.
The only thing that I thought could be improved on was perhaps the hotel providing some free laundry detergent. It’s not expensive to purchase from the front desk (krw 1000) but it’s a hassle to have to go down to purchase it. It’ll be nice and much more convenient if they just provide enough for a use or two in the room.

YYeyeThe location is great, very close to Sinsa-dong and within walking distance. There are tons of restaurants nearby, plus two Olive Young stores. Hannam-dong is just a 5-minute drive away. Inside, you can open two 26-inch suitcases (though it might make walking around a bit tight). There's a mini-fridge, but it doesn't hold much. The hallway outside our door had a slight sewer smell. The bedding was incredibly dirty; thankfully, I brought my own disposable items as none are provided in the room. From the airport, take bus 6009 and get off at Sinsa-dong, then it's about a 13-minute walk. I didn't see this mentioned in other reviews, and when I checked on DB, it told me to take bus 6903 which was way out of the way. I ended up taking a taxi.

YYan-ZhengThis hotel is super close to Seoul Station, accessible from either Exit 1 or 7 (see picture 4). We had an overnight layover before catching the KTX, so staying here was incredibly convenient. You can even walk here along the Seoullo 7017 Skygarden. Plus, there's Lotte Outlets and a supermarket nearby for some shopping. We booked a family twin room with a queen bed (1.5m) and a single bed (1.1m), perfect for three people, and the space was just right. Check-out is at 12 PM, and at around 700 [currency, presumably KRW], it's really good value for money. The service was good, though we didn't get a chance to use any other facilities!

BBokexierdienThe hotel has a great location. It's just two turns away from Chungmuro Subway Station Exit 8. Airport buses 6105 and 6011 also stop near Exit 8, making it very convenient to get to the hotel.
It's a fully self-service hotel with a self-check-in machine that has Chinese language options, which is super handy.
The room door uses a key code, which is easy to operate. The bathroom is very clean, and there's a slight step down from the toilet area to the shower, which prevents water from splashing out.
Myeongdong is also within walking distance. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul.

GGuest UserIt's always a nice stay here! The location is very great, olive young is downstairs , and the subway station also downstairs, it's near the airport bus stop too! They have bidet and the toilet is scpacious, the room also spacious, you can store many luggages, they have tables and chairs too for you to eat or have some work, their receptionist lobby and all the staff also very helpful during my stay, definitely recommended, not to mention they have 24h convenient store at the 3rd floor and laundry room

On my first night, I felt unsafe due to an aggressive roommate and left to stay elsewhere. The next day I was given a new room with a respectful roommate, and I felt safe, rested well, and had a great experience. I really appreciated how the staff handled everything
