Hotels near Coron Town Proper, Coron

We loved that the place is right in the center of Coron, super convenient for walking around to restaurants and souvenir shops. We also availed their Super Ultimate Tour, which we really enjoyed! There’s a convenience store right beside the property, which was great for grabbing food and water. The Wi-Fi connection was very reliable, we were able to work at night and still go on a tour in the morning without any issues haha. The room is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend this place!

Advantages: Quiet, no roosters crowing around, good environment outside. The hotel can charge for processing external food, although the processing fee is not cheap, but the taste is very good, there is free turu. The service staff is very enthusiastic. Disadvantages: The bathroom is too broken, there is no dry and wet separation, the toilet cover has fallen off, the faucet is completely loose, and no one has repaired it. The bed sheets are very old and stained. The breakfast is good, but too sweet and greasy. It will be perfect if the internal facilities are improved.

I heard that this place used to be run by a Korean owner, but they sold it to a Filipino and moved to Manila. Many reviews mentioned ants, and while there were some ant trails in my room (near the door and by the bathroom window), they didn't bite or make the place feel dirty. In the Philippines, this is pretty normal, so I didn't mind it much. The water pressure in the bathroom was good, and there was plenty of hot water, which drained well. The air conditioning worked great, and there was a ceiling fan, so it was nice and cool. The staff were all incredibly friendly and efficient. The pool wasn't spotless, but it was large and pleasant to use. The location is good for walking, and even though it's a bit set back from the main road, there were enough tuk-tuks passing by that I had no trouble getting around. The restaurant on the third floor was surprisingly good, so if you're feeling lazy and don't want to go out, I'd recommend checking it out. I had a great stay overall.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located on a lively central street with plenty of cafes and shops. Nearby is a market and a dock for boat trips on wonderful excursions. The hotel is very good, I had room with a window and terrace giving a view on the green mountain. My room #511 was clean, spacious and comfy with a good bathroom well equipped. The swimming pool is not very big but agreable.The location is a bit far walking from the port and the sea. However, there are renting offices of motorbikes near the hotel. I booked at the hotel a Tour to the Coron island which was fantastic. I recommend this hotel.

A nice place near in macdo ,if u want to eat fastfood its easy access and they also have transportation going to busuanga airport for only affordable price of 250 pesos , they also have swimming pool access and friendly staff ☺️recommend hotel in coron

The hotel is just a little difficult to find, when I saw the reception I was worried because the place is under renovation, but as soon as I saw the rooms I loved them. Extremely clean environment, well located, on the main street, amenities, and very friendly staff, but the friendliest employee was a little dog who always greeted us with joy every day, he made my trip and my stay much happier ❤️

I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out. The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt. There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options. The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off. I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time. Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

The hotel is in the center which makes it very easy to get around and very convenient for tours since they all pick you up at the entrance, there are many restaurants, shops, laundries, massages and much more nearby. The restaurant and bar are on the fourth floor, it has a very nice view of the port, due to the type of place there are obviously no elevators, if you go with people with some mobility impairment it can be a problem, or at least they will have to take their time to get there. They offer breakfast, the night before they ask you the time and your choice, they give you 8 options all have egg + two slices of bread 🍞 or rice with garlic + some meat, the portion in my opinion is small but it helps you at least hold out for a little while until you go somewhere else to have breakfast. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DRINKING WATER FROM THEIR DISPENSERS since it had mold on it for 2 days, I had reported it to the receptionist and she said that they would clean it but it was not like that, she offered me small bottles of water instead. There is a pool but I never saw anyone go in and the reason is simple, it is very dirty, personally I would not risk an infection due to the quality of the water. The receptionists are very kind in their words and are very helpful with requests, but one of them has subtitles because her face shows her displeasure. They all speak English which makes things easier. I got room 103 unfortunately absolutely everything that happens outside can be heard, and since it is very close to the reception, noise is a frequent occurrence. If they give you this room perhaps with the tiredness of the tours it will not matter as much because one ends up exhausted, what I do recognize is that their bed is very very comfortable. Despite the details I think it is a good accommodation option, they have areas of opportunity to improve, the town in general is developing so perhaps on another occasion I will give them another chance.

Really nice resort only 10min away from the port by Tuc Tuc. The room very clean and with all the essentials for the staying. My room wasn’t exactly view on the pool as expected so I would have to say a little bit overpriced. Nice breakfast. They arranged me an half day tour of the main spots in Coron and they were really flexible. The only thing that often happens to me travelling solo is that at pool bar for lunch I asked half portion of a serving because it was meant to be for 2/3 people (in the Philippines they often have family sharing portions) but they said it wasn’t possible that they could serve me half portion but the price would’ve been the same and I found that annoying. Other than that they offer shuttle bus to the airport and everything else was as good as in the pictures!
