Stayed for 3 nights. The location is good but service quality is mixed. Room service never bothered to replace my bathroom mat and towel, nor replenish coffee and milk capsules and did not clean the toilet bowl. Air con is being controlled by the reception desk and you need to call to on the aircon (i went in February so am not sure if its a winter/spring thingy). When I called to say the light on the aircon wall console was off, indicating the aircon is not on, the receptionist actually doubt the truth of my statement rather than investigating the reason for it. Anyway, if there is any consolation breakfast is good for the 10 Euro price.

We had a wonderful stay at this place in Lisbon! The location couldn’t have been better, just a short walk from the city center, which made exploring the sights, restaurants, and neighborhoods incredibly easy. The area felt lively yet safe, and it was the perfect base for our trip.
The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The host was warm, responsive, and made check-in smooth and simple.

This is not a quality hotel, but it is in a great location and if you understand something about the rooms you might find it ok. We booked a superior double room and firstly it is not a double bed. The hotel told me they do not have double beds in these rooms, they are all singles pushed together. Secondly there definition of ‘superior’ is that the rooms have been recently decorated and are superior to what they used to be. The reality is that they extremely small rooms, a hanging space either side of the bed with 3 hangers, no wardrobe and no drawer space whatsoever. I think for 1 night this is manageable. Beware some sites show this room with sofas and wardrobe’s- they do not exist as a double room. These are triple rooms and these rooms are more spacious and have a double bed, wardrobe and drawers. Not all have sofas! I found all this out on a recent stay. I booked a superior double and the hotel moved me to a larger triple room. So good customer service. But in peak season I might have been stuck!

Extremely convenient location, walking distance to the historical center and main train station. Walkable distance to all historical-city center sights up and down the hill. Rooms were basic, yet clean and has all the basic fixed-amenities. But that was more than made up for by the excellent service and location. I've had an important delivery that I needed for work to the hotel, and the hotel staff were very helpful in tracking down the order and gave me instant update once the package has arrived.

Given the price, some of the issues are somewhat understandable, but the facility was significantly more dilapidated than shown in the photos, and it had a distinct odor. I was looking for an inexpensive private room, but if I had known the extent of its condition, I absolutely would have spent more money to book a different place. The chair cushions were falling apart, and the old window wouldn't open or close properly. The clothes hangers themselves looked like salvaged, dented, and paint-peeling items.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Lisbon
Villa Baixa is a fantastic apartment complex located right in the heart of Lisbon, near the iconic Rossio Square. The location couldn’t be better — it offers excellent public transport connections and easy walking access to some of the city’s most famous attractions. I think I've found a hidden gem! This hotel is located right on Avenida da Liberdade, and as other guests have mentioned, it's surrounded by luxury brand stores. The hotel entrance faces Avenida da Liberdade, making it very easy to find. The front desk is on the second floor; the ground floor is essentially level zero, and there's a small elevator, so no worries if you have large luggage. The hotel has a vintage charm, and the room facilities are mostly complete. It's conveniently located, with a metro station not far from the entrance, and major attractions are within walking distance. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, it's sufficient for your needs. The service from the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff was all excellent – warm, polite, and patient. I even extended my stay!

The hotel is very good, there is nothing to say.
The location is really the largest strong point .
The restaurant is very good, the staff is very nice .
The only bemol I could meet is that : the automatic ridges were not working properly and therefore do not kill us light during the night . The door of the bathroom was not paramedical and so the water finding was slippered quite easily.

The hotel is located in the very city center, as a result: be ready for tourists crowds 24/7 and overpriced cafes around. The service was nice, but nothing exceptional. I would say it's overpriced for 3🌟 standard, but then again - you pay extra for central location. There was construction works in 2 neighbour's buildings next to the hotel - noisy during the day.

We were not come for the light show but good to have it. Free car park was included but it could be challenging for big car. We didn’t try breakfast nor dine in their restaurant. You may opted for not having the room cleaned and get 5€ voucher in return. Bear in mind that you have to order something more than 5€, one voucher each time.

NNuannuanIt's been a while, but the memory is still vivid. The room was spacious, and breakfast was excellent – unlimited egg tarts! The capsule coffee was surprisingly good, comparable to freshly ground. Maybe I was just exhausted, but this last stop was pretty good. It started raining heavily as we left, marking the beginning of the rainy season, yet the taxi drivers didn't overcharge, which felt like a perfect ending!
I must have a soft spot for Portugal; even after 10 days, I still wanted more. So, I'm happy to express my gratitude to the places I stayed and the people who helped and served me! Wishing you all the best!

It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel cause it a close location to many things around in Lisbon. While it is not a fancy hotel, it serves well for solo travellers and families. The room was very spacious and the AC worked well. The cleaning service came every day and left the room clean and fresh. Breakfast was included with our stay, and it was a usual hotel breakfast. You could pick from hot items such as scrambled eggs and meat products like beans and sausage or bacon. On one day they also had mushrooms. Then of course the bread variety and some pastry items such as croissant and muffins. Cheeses, yoghurt and fruits as well cereals were available. Eating breakfast at 10 AM usually filled us up for the day and we hardly ate lunch outside. The staff was friendly and when we requested an iron they provided that with no problem. The room had a small safe for valuables when we left for the day and plenty of storage space for the clothes and suit cases. The bathroom was very nice as well, lots of counter space and even a clothing line across the tub to hang some items to dry if you had to was a shirt or socks. The hotel is located across small soccer practice field so from our balcony we could watch people play some soccer games. Be advised the hotel is very close to the airport (about 10 min) so there was noise from planes but hardly noticeable. During our stay, 2 of the main elevators broke and were not usable but luckily we were on the second floor so taking the stairs was easy but they do have other elevators available. And for anyone not looking to leave the hotel for lunch or dinner, they provide plenty of dishes in their restaurant and bar area. But just a few steps around that area, you will find great places to eat such a Turkish restaurant with a 10 page menu I highly recommend to try.

MMarinaHotel a little dated but in an excellent position room assigned absolutely to be used as a single and not as a double had a column near the bed very dangerous at night if one gets up without turning on the light .... Equipped with everything with dated but clean uncomfortable furniture for two people. Maybe it was assigned to us because it was taken with an offer? Work in progress in the building opposite but did not disturb too much. Breakfast in the norm with good products, the only flaw is the American-only coffee ... Staff courteous even if detached.

The room is extremely small, if you seat on the edge of the bed and try to stretch your legs, you'll most likely hit the wall.
We had our room replaced, as the first room had zero privacy for the toilet and the second room gave the illusion of privacy (as you can see in photos)
We've not seen any of the management, as everything is done thru WhatsApp to contact them and they will respond.
Breakfast was OK, it had a bit of choices but there was more cakes and cookies then actual food.

PPQ1491The host didn't email the door code to me and there was no one answering the doorbell for the first three times my friends and I tried when it's raining heavily outside that day. I called the owner and they said they would open the door but they didn't and I had to call another time so that they would actually give us the door code to get into the building.
The environment around the stay is very dirty, the road is full with dog poops everyday since morning and it smells very bad.
My belonging is missing in the apartment when I'm very sure that it was still in the bathroom before we left the room. I'm not sure if the cleaner broke it or something else, but I asked them and they say there's nothing they can do about it. I don't mind if they broke it i just want an explanation about why is it missing and they just ignored me, instead they just say they couldn't find the item.
The cleaner cleans the room everyday, the room is clean and is a nice place to sleep overall.
