Hotels near Cascade Brewing Barrel House, Portland

My husband, 2 sons and I stayed at the Inn at Northrup Station recently while in Portland visiting our daughter. The location worked out very well for us and everyone enjoyed the breakfast. The first night, our bathroom door squeaked when we got up in the middle of the night to use the facilities waking others in the room. I talked to the front desk in the morning and they came in and gave it some oil which worked perfectly to silence it during the night. Very much appreciated! The beds seemed smaller than normal queen sized beds but we had no way of verifying that. Luckily there was a pull out sofa in our room so one of our sons slept on that after the first night. The bed did seem smaller than our queen at home to my husband and me as well.

Incredible hotel for the price! Stayed with a friend whilst visiting Portland and hotel room was so clean, had the most incredible bed and great location. Will definitely recommend to others

Great location and great city view! The room is large and clean. There’s a bus stop and a light rail station nearby. Great place to stay for nights.

The mattress was comfortable and the room had a great view. It was comfortable and conveniently located closed to the center of Downtown Portland.

We fly in from Hawaii, our flight delayed 3 hours, so we arrived at the hotel at 4am, the girl at the counter was walking towards outside and saw us entering the hotel with luggages without saying a word, we thought she was stepped out just a bit, and waited in the lobby, but she disappeared! There was another man in the lobby he tried to help us find her however no luck. We were so very tired and waited in the lobby for half an hour, she finally came in and gave us the key of the room, it only took like 2 minutes. If it were that simple, why not just handed the key to us upon our arrival, we tried to make phone calls, but the phone rang right in front of us in the counter with nobody inside, it's very very very frustrated.

Hyatt Centric was a super clean, safe, and amazing hotel. It was located in an excellent part of downtown (right next to a Stumptown Coffee!). The hotel is designed in a very sleak manner with spacious and clean rooms. The staff were very helpful in answering questions and opening a wine bottle & giving wine glasses to drink the wine in my room. The price was excellent for the quality of the hotel, in my opinion, and I would definitely stay here again. Traveling as a married couple with my parents.

hotel is good and the staff are kind; outdoor swimming pool is not so common in Portland; nearby the hotel there is a nice walk on the riverbank

One word: Perfect ! Without doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed without spending a LOT more money. I had a wonderful corner room with loads of light, amenities were outstanding: comfortable bed, big bathroom with good water pressure, amenity kit (see pic), huge TV (which, unlike many hotels was easy to operate), sensible light switches, plenty of power outlets, inc USB on each side of the bed for phone charging, soft robes, excellent plunger coffee maker, fridge, in-room safe, etc etc. I honestly couldnt fault anything. Staff were very good. Bar and restaurant were also very good. I only wish I had more then 2 nights there. Wonderful stay.

The room was big with small kitchen which is good for families and friends. Clean and nice room.

It was great being so close to the airport, but since I arrived late at night, the sign wasn't clearly visible, making it a bit hard to find
