"Room ＞ Pros - very clean, nice king bed, and multiple outlets for charging.  ＞ Cons - “sea view” was a little disappointing and we could see more of a construction site as opposed to the ocean, which was quite far. No bidet/shower attached to toilet, and shower would not get hot enough at first (had to have staff come fix it).  Service ＞ Pros- staff were very helpful, greeted us at every turn, and did their best to accommodate any requests we had regarding the room and hotel services. The spa was also very nice and happy with the quality of massage we received by the staff. Same extends to the your desk, who were very helpful arranging a jetski session for us. ＞ cons - N/A Location ＞ Pros - nice location on Mactan island, with a private beach, relatively close to the airport which was a big plus. ＞ cons - a bit far from the city center, so the drive was quite long to Ayala mall. But not really a “con” if you intend to spend most of your time on the resort. Amenities ＞ Pros - overall room has everything we need as far as toothbrush, sanitary goods etc.  cons - complimentary water was not in the room when we first arrived, we had to ask for it thru guest services. Overall: Nice hotel, some small inconveniences but good value for money, and would stay again."

"Good hotel for your money. 24-hour reception. Very polite staff. In addition, opposite the hotel there are a lot of places to eat and shops to buy food.However, the hotel is located in a very noisy part of the road. The hotel itself has poor soundproofing of the windows and a very noisy air conditioner. For people with light sleep, this will be torture. Breakfasts are extremely mediocre, it is better to eat elsewhere. There is a good laundromat nearby."

"The hotel itself is great, and our family room was spacious and comfortable. The dining experience was excellent, with a well-balanced buffet breakfast and quick poolside service via a convenient QR code system. However, the check-in process was a bit drawn-out. After I thought I had completed everything, I was called by phone back to pay a deposit. They mentioned they would contact me when the room was ready, but I never received a call. I ended up going back later on my own, and while the staff did apologize, it was still an inconvenience. My only other gripe is the lack of valet parking, which I would expect at a hotel of this standard. Instead, guests have to walk roughly 250 meters each way to the car park, which can be uncomfortable in the heat. Overall, a great stay with a few minor hiccups"

"I’ve stayed in many five-star hotels around Lapu-Lapu, and unfortunately, this property falls short of that standard. The room was relatively small and underwhelming, especially considering the nightly rate of $280 (around 15,500 pesos). Overall, the resort doesn’t compare favorably to its competitors in the area. Upon arrival, we headed to the pool and asked for towels, only to be told to come back in 30 minutes as they were still drying, not the kind of service you expect from a high-end resort. There were also no poolside activities or amenities for children, making it less suitable for families. If you want to use the children’s play area, there’s an extra charge of 300 pesos per child per hour, and you have to walk all the way back to the check-in counter to pay. Frankly, that felt like a rip-off. Safety-wise, be cautious walking around as there were small puddles on the floor, likely caused by condensation dripping from air-conditioning pipes above, an obvious slip hazard that should be addressed. Also, don't let your young kids near the elevator lobby windows. They are low level and open outwards.  The buffet breakfast was another letdown. The food was presented poorly, served lukewarm, and surprisingly lacked basic breakfast staples like sausage or bacon, something I’ve never encountered before in a hotel of this caliber. Even more concerning was the presence of pet dogs in the dining area during breakfast, which we found off-putting. While the sunset views are beautiful, they’re somewhat marred by the rusting ship hull of visible just offshore, a visual distraction that takes away from the otherwise scenic waterfront. On a brighter note, we had drinks and dinner at the sports bar twice, where the service was excellent and the food enjoyable. However, ordering would be more efficient if they adopted a QR code system instead of relying on guests to find a server. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. For better service, amenities, and overall experience, I’d recommend the Shangri-La or Sheraton, both of which offer a far superior pool, beach area, and level of hospitality. In fact I find Costabella Beach Resort much better services and amenities for a fraction of the price!"

"This place is fabulous. Staff is top notch, very friendly and helpful. Some of the best food I’ve had in the Philippines. Lovely place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or your favorite drink. Clean swimming pool with seating around. Library with plenty of reading material. Large ceiling fans and standing fans to keep you cool in the garden room while you eat or sit at the bar. Easy to get a grab ride to airport or shopping malls. Looking forward to my next stay."

"The rooms and grounds are clean. The showers are good and the toilets are not clogged. The hotel staff are friendly and polite. The hotel is located on a busy road, so the noise from horns and other things can be a bit loud."

"The sheets and towels themselves weren't clean. There were a lot of stains, and there seemed to be a banquet hall right next to the accommodation, but a lot of events were held. If they overlap, it might be noisy. Breakfast was just mediocre and the menu was all the same!! There was a choice, but even if I chose it, it seemed like it just came out prepared. It's better not to expect it. There is a Korean restaurant nearby, but it was so delicious that it was better than I thought."

"The room is enormous, and also the bathroom. There’s a kitchen inside and 2 tables to work. Definitely, is one of the best places where we stayed in Southeast Asia. The staff is helpful. There’s an Italian restaurant in the round floor, and also a store and a laundry (they wash and dry everything in hours). The grab to airport is cheaper than the service offered by the hotel."

"The hotel is far from Cebu city and the airport, so access is poor, but the hotel facilities and services are very good."

"First of all, this is not a hotel, similar to the Air B&B Studio, can be said to be an apartment. Advantages: The room has a washing machine, kitchen. However, be sure to confirm the arrival time with the landlord, otherwise, zero-time reservation, just wait silly, I really waited 1.5 hours in a sultry and humid, mosquitoes, conditions, finally, wait, come to the landlord."
