"There are welcome snacks and the location is good. There are police cars nearby during the day, so it is quite safe. The bathroom is a bit small. I asked the waiter for water, and he agreed and said it would be delivered to the room, but it never came.
Let’s talk about the restaurant downstairs. When we went to have dinner, the waiter would bring bread and ask you what kind of sauce you wanted, and also ask you if you wanted water. These are all paid, and she would not inform you in advance. The experience was very bad. The duck leg risotto was very salty and not recommended."
"Lisboa pessoa hotle is really wonderful hotel, this is my first time here, lisbon as my first stop for traveling Europe, this hotel just give me a great beginning. The receptionists are very friendly, because I came here early and would like to storage my luggage, and they are so kindly to help me check in and sent my luggage to my room directly. At Christmas evening, they also give me some small gift some, so sweet.
The location is perfect, near the Santa Justa Lift, you can walk there only 1-2mins, and I also think it located in the center of alfama, close to many malls and landmarks.
Wonderful place to live,highly recommended"

"A great stay at Altis Grand. Clean and spacious rooms with a very comfy bed. We requested a king size bed and the staff made sure this was accommodated for. The only problem we had was our room took a little while to be ready, even after check-in time but we were happy to just have a drink in the lobby bar and were given complimentary pastel de natas. The location is good, about 20-30 minute walk into the centre and 5-10 minutes from a metro station."
"My dissatisfaction began when I was asked what I needed when I approached the reception. I said that I was checking in. The person behind the counter was dissatisfied. The next thing was that I had to leave a deposit of 50 euros. This shocked me. I have traveled a lot and lived in different hotels, and no one asked for a deposit. The hotel for a 4 star is very modest and small. The room is tiny. At night, mosquitoes also prevented me from sleeping. The food for breakfast is ordinary, a buffet."
"This hotel is a very nice, rustic hotel that is renovated and it is at the bottom of the hills near the sea, so it is not a burden to climb to the hotel :) I really anjoyed my visit, the breakfast is simple but enough and enjoyable in their beautiful terrace. I really recommend but dont mind the outer steps to the hotel, if you have bad knees, it might not be for you :) 30 steps roughly."
"Good hotel with great staff, lives up to expectations for a Moxy, but shame there is no gym and it’s out of the way from the main action. But otherwise a great stay."
"Very well situated hotel, with everything you need, including an excellent breakfast. Overall, everything is pretty good. The entrance hall and reception could be improved a little, which are a little ”aged” - they don't keep up with the level of the rest of the hotel"
"I booked this hotel before, but this time I changed the itinerary because of a temporary event, so I couldn't cancel it. Fortunately, I bought insurance before, and I could reimburse a part of it, which reduced most of the losses."
"Beautiful rooms with amazing and luxurious interiors. I loved the large rooms and comfortable king sized beds. Initially we were put into a really noisy room that we could feel the vivrations of the train, but we asked to switch and were upgraded to very spacious and quiet corner room. We loved everything about it! Staff were very friendly.
Negatives
Charged for everything including extra bottle of water (1 bottle for 3 days???) and coffee capsules in the room, which I thought was a little tacly and also stingy for such a luxuriously styled hotel. A little cheapskate.
The brealfast was aess - instead of putting it out for self serve, the staff had to tale orders and bring out juices, breads etc. They could hardly handle even thoigh there were verg limited tables so the wait can get too long which is unnecessary. Hotel needs to improve on this."

華華人-明先生The hotel has finished the purple flowers downstairs, and the bathtub on the top floor is exclusive for the club suite guests. The suites are very good and the price is not expensive. The nearby Atlantic seafood is superb. The friends in Lisbon are good in English and very enthusiastic. The law and order is very good. Well, during the day, I can take the train to Rocca, and I will embrace the Atlantic for the first time in my life. It is 1 million kilometers away from Beijing, and the time difference is 7 hours. It is too far away.

KkthérèseThe river view room and toilet were small for one person so I’d image a couple would be uncomfortable here. The location is right in the heart of Alfama and a 10-15 minute walk to Chiado/Barrio Alto. I was excited to come and stay at this hotel after reading the reviews about how friendly the staff are, but I did not receive any welcoming or friendly service from any of the staff here. In fact, I felt unwelcome and almost as if I was bothering them when I spoke to them at the reception or asked first a simple request like water for my room. I previously stayed at Montebelo Vista Allegre hotel in Chiado and I would recommend this hotel instead. I wish I stayed there for the entirety of my trip.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent being in the centre of everything.
Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with appropriate choices and fruits are fresh and delicious.
Room size was a bit small but comfortable and cozy.
Would recommend for anyone who looks for value in traveling

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 3 nights for vacation, below are our experience and reviews.
Cons:
1. Complimentary Water (only 2 during entire stay):
• Complimentary water is only provided on the first day, but this was not communicated at check-in.
• The vending machine water is overpriced (4.5x supermarket price).
• Clear instructions at check-in would allow guests to plan ahead and buy water elsewhere.
2. Reception Service:
• No guidance on how to call the front desk from the room, resulted in us going down to reception for assistance.
• Unprofessional receptionist behavior:
• A receptionist prioritized personal conversations with other guests over assisting me, even after noticing I needed help.
• My query took less than a minute but was delayed unnecessarily, leaving me frustrated and disappointed.
3. Housekeeping Issue:
• Despite placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, housekeeping knocked repeatedly and did not respond when asked who was there.
• The door lacked a peephole, which raised safety concerns as we couldn’t verify who was outside.
4. Taxi Drop-off:
• The hotel’s entrance is on a ramp near a traffic light, making it difficult for taxi to stop directly in front of the door.
• Guests with heavy luggage may find it inconvenient as taxis often park farther away.
Some Pros:
• Excellent location near a park with a charming Christmas market.
• Safe area with plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient.
• Decent-sized rooms with ample space and a large desk for working.
• Good breakfast options.

AAndreI would book again but a bigger room. The installed not fully closing glass door to the bathroom/toilet will never be my favorite.
The reception is service oriented and welcoming. The cleaning staff should be instructed to communicate without yelling at 9.30am.
Location good. No view, but this is always an issue with small hotels in city center.
I would have expected more CR7 fan articles.

GGuest UserThe room is very nice and big, the kitchen facilities are complete, and the location is absolutely great. It is not difficult to get the key through self-service check-in, but it is best to write it clearly on the Ctrip page. In addition, Ctrip does not give you the password to enter the gate, so you have to contact the management yourself. I parked my car in a parking space across the street and was fined when I was carrying my luggage upstairs. The reason was that this parking space was only for residents and cost 60 euros.

AAnonymous UserBe careful with this hotel, in which service and facilities are wildly variable.
For our last night, one bath towel is missing for a room of double occupancy - a schoolboy error as they would call it - and when we requested the second one, the receptionist acted as if he were doing us a big favour. Then, on our last day, neither of our two room cards worked when we returned to the room 30 min before check out time - and because of receptionist shortage, it took us a good 15 min to get a replacement card - not a good thing for a hotel that brands itself for being chic and high tech.
The room controller, which is run by the TV system, as well as the lighting panel, are as dysfunctional as they get - one would have thought it should be a very simple thing to raise or lower the temperature through a quick flip of a switch, or a simple touch on dial. Instead, it is waiting for the TV to warm up, entering the room control panel, blah blah blah.
Note also a double bed at this hotel means two single beds slapped together. Not great if you have no wish to sleep atop a trench.
Our last night happens to be on a Friday, and the lobby practically turned into a dance floor with loud and cheap beats that went all the way to almost midnight and heard even on the highest floors.
No problem for being chic, but being chic is very different from being dysfunctional and uncomfy. A shame, as the location is excellent, some of the staff were nice and helpful, and some of the decor are clever.

WWariyukiI won’t recommend this apartment though it is only less than 10 mins walk from the Martim Moniz metro station and the city centre.
The apartment is located at the back alley of some old buildings. There were a lot of homeless people and wanderers at both ends of the alleys. The most unacceptable thing was that the alley was stinky with the very bad smell of urine and garbage. Since the apartment is inside the alley that car cannot go inside, even we took Uber, we still need to walk 2-min from either end of the alley to the apartment.
Unfortunately we were assigned with a room on the ground level of the 4-storey apartment. To be exact, the room was slightly below ground level, meaning that we could see the feet of the people walking on the street through the 2 windows of our room. It was also a bit noisy when people talked on the street, parked their bicycle right at the windows of our room. Obviously we couldn’t open our windows or curtains, meaning that it was like staying in a room without windows. We have asked for a change of room. Since we were staying there for 7 nights, we also didn’t mind to change for only a few nights in the middle of the stay, however we were not provided with any option to change our room even though we booked this apartment 4 MONTHS ago (not the last minute customers).
Besides, the sound proofing of the apartment was bad. We could hear everyone talking outside. Since it’s the ground floor unit, there were more people passing by and going up to different floors and in and out the building, all sounds were quite annoying especially during the late night. Among the 7 nights, there were also 2 nights having some sorts of alarm in the mid nights for over 30 minutes. All these issues were very disturbing too.
Adding to it, the bed and pillows of the apartment were too hard and not comfortable to us. We didn’t have any good sleep unfortunately.
Nevertheless the interior of the apartment was fine, spacious and clean. Decoration was modern, daily house-keeping was also fine. There were aircon, washer and dryer, a basic coffee filter machines but not Nespresso coffee machine.

SSantosThe room was super clean, the location is near a public transportation which I'd good ans bad at the same time due to noise, the stuffs are friendly and helpful.
Therr only negatives are:
There is a TV and AC, but in order to use it you must demand the remotes.
As well as the fact that we either give them a credit card or 50 euros as a warranty instead of a ID, which we found it not so common and were doubting it, ans of course we gave cash.

GGuest UserEven though I explained the reason why I couldn't stay in this hotel(Portugal Embassy didn't get me the visa on expected date because of continuous delay of work) , they didn't get me a refund or adjust the date. I sent so many emails that can prove my absence, but they just defined me as the no-show client hahahahahaha
I understand that some of the accomodation doesn't offer the refund, but it was not my personal issue but the administrative issue in Portugal. But why should i pay 100% of my fee? I wasted over 600$
