"Absolutely amazing hotel, with amazing staff who are there to welcome you straight away and take care of you throughout your stay and top quality facilities to be used too,
Will definitely return !!
Thanks again!"
"I made the an incorrect booking and booked a double room instead of a family room. They were very helpful at reception and provided us with a family room."
"Very convenient and easy to get around. There is even an Amazon locker on site. The breakfast options are decent. WiFi is slow however"

"Satisfied with the room and food and the breakfast service was great. Overall all a good place to stay for a short visit. Just sleep in and go out for your activities. My only worry was no land phones in the rooms you could call reception."
"I had a one night stay at Hanover Street L1 last night 27.5 and it was mostly really good - the room, cleanliness and breakfast and this made up for the problem I had using the swimming pool. I had booked this hotel because it has a pool but hadn't realised it was half term. Consequently, the pool was full of children the whole time I was there. I was only able to access the sauna and this is when I heard some kids laughing about making Sea Gas...a competition about who could fart most whilst underwater. Although I can see the humour in this, I did feel really disgusted and this confirmed that I could not use the pool at all, as well as the fact that it was constantly very loud and with no space to swim.
This lack of access will very much affect my future plans to stay there, even if it were school term time, I wouldn't come there on a weekend for this reason."
"The hotel is clean, has got friendly staff, and in a good location. But it will be good if they get there own car park so guest don't have to pay for parking elsewhere."
"The second time I stayed at Liverpool Raddison Red, this time I had a bad experience from the beginning 👎🏻
Because I was traveling with my kids and three big suitcases, the Italian girl at the front desk gave us the farthest room on the 5th floor, which required us to pass through 4 fire doors. I almost collapsed dragging my suitcases... I went downstairs angrily to ask the girl at the front desk to change rooms. The girl pretended that her English was not good and kept saying that there was no suitable room, which delayed us for more than an hour... Although we were finally changed to the farthest room on the 4th floor, which only required passing through a fire door... Even the children could see that the girl at the front desk was obviously playing dumb, absolutely bad review"
"My favourite place to stay in Liverpool, and probably the whole of the UK. The spa is amazing and is true to the advertised pictures, in fact it's even better because they don't show off everything there! The rooms are spotless and so lovely, the staff are all super friendly and polite and cannot do enough to help. Treat yourself to an amazing high class experience for reasonable prices. The thermal journey is an absolute must."

Great
SStephenFirst impression of the hotel was how clean and simplistic it was. Check in was relaxed at the front desk and I was directed to the lifts to find my room. Room was spacious and well designed with all the amenities required. Coffee machine was a lovely touch and easy to use. Bed was clean and comfortable and would highly recommend this hotel at that price.
CCharlesI personally found the hotel exactly as described on it's website! I shared one of their deluxe twin rooms with a friend and it was way bigger and more comfortable than most I've stayed in! No complaints whatsover! All the Beatles pics and memorabilia was exactly as stated and was a great supplement to a great hotel in my opinion as a big Beatles fan! The fact that it's so close to the Cavern Club, and therfore is situated right at the heart of Liverpools ”Musical” centre, and ”elelectic” atmospheric nightlife, was exactly what I was looking for! But round the corner, back into the hotel and it was back to a quiet, chilled atmosphere! Best of both worlds! Live music in a cool bar at weekend nights, delicious buffet breakfast, pretty much with everything you would want! Can't complain one single bit! That was my experience honestly! Quick, simple checking and check out! Cannot understand the negative reviews I read before I booked, which admittedly nearly put me off booking! All I can say say is, either those negative reviews were unusual or by very fussy people, or exceptional in the extreme! 10 out of 10! Keep it up all you staff in the hotel! You are the one's who make it work so well! Chic Canning, Motherwell, near Glasgow !

GGuest UserThe hotel's location for where we needed to go was excellent. This includes, the open top bus, Echo arena, central town with pubs, restaurants, etc and transport.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. Our room was spotless. The shower was a big walk-in one with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.
We will definately stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

GGuest UserCity Studios, Rodney Street, is an excellent location in Liverpool - easily accessible for cultural and city attractions. The system for gaining access to the property worked well, in that the access codes came in good time and were fairly easy to use. The studio was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean, with good kitchen facilities. The only thing wrong was that the shower didn't work, although there was plenty of hot water. As we were only staying one night, we didn't ask for help with this, as we only found out quite late in the evening. If we'd been staying longer, we would have contacted the help number, and I'm sure something would have been done about it. We would use this venue again.

KKennedy83Firstly the bad points-
*The Carpark was full of old furniture from the hotel and empty beer barrier preventing you getting parked,
*The hotel has turned into more of a party venue hotel rather than the beautiful hotel it was when I last came with my daughter 2018.
*tap in the kitchen area in our room only let out hot water and unfortunately the room stunk of what I could only describe as a sewerage smell? Whether the drains needed maintenance I’m not sure but I I just sprayed some deodorant around to help make it not smell quite as bad because I was so tired I didnt want to have to swap rooms.
*There was also no phone to call reception which I found strange and the remote for the tv was missing the back of it.
I put all this bad points down to the fact that when I previously came it was owned by someone who really cared about the maintenance and reputation of the hotel but now I’ve found it’s since been sold it seems the new owner isn’t as bothered and all what the shankley represented before eg, maintenance, luxury, football themed has kind of turned more into a tacky themed hotel and doesn’t feel classy anymore. I’d probably not stay here again as it’s not the same as it was and just the whole feel of hand hotel is different. It’s not the best if you have come with kids as there’s lots of drunken guests in the hotel and it’s noisey but thank goodness it’s a large hotel as you don’t hear the noise from downstairs. We were on level 3.
Our room was lovely and big with a large double bed and 2 twins pushed together, a kitchen area with tea bags and coffee (no biscuits but that didn’t bother us as we had snacks with us
The upsides were-
*Staff were pleasant,
*breakfast was amazing with everything you could possibly as for,
*hotel was mainly quiet on the 3rd floor, room was on the whole clean and had a hair dryer, iron and ironing board with a safe.
* . The bathroom was lovely especially the bath as it was a jacuzzi with a waterfall shower. Everything was clean from what I could see.

GGuest UserCheck in was terrible with long queues even though we had used the online check in. Waiting for half an hour as each customer had to pay city tax and have all their details input into the computer and a wasteful A4 sheet of paperwork printed in another room, before being presented and stapled with door keys. During the wait there was a woman ranting and yelling at staff about her son who was accommodated in the hotel. She said that he was being allowed to **** ***** in his room. She was escorted out. Only one lift was working which was a pain as I have difficulty walking and was situated on the fifth floor. Lift stunk of ********. Hotel seemed to be accommodating a lot people that had unfortunately found themselves homeless. The room looked dated and the carpet was covered in burns from an iron. The bed was nice and comfortable and the linen was clean. The bathroom tiles were filthy with soap runs and greasy hands prints. Bathroom ceiling was covered in mould. Bathroom in desperate need of updating and deep cleaning. Bath was yellow with age and looked like it was installed when time began. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were adequate but the containers for the sachets of coffee and tea were very unclean and looked as if they are never rinsed out. There were cigarette burns and stains on the curtains. In general I was really disappointed. We had stayed here about 20 years ago and this is a beautiful hotel with chandeliers and grand decor downstairs. The place just looked neglected and run into the ground with minimal staff, very basic cleanliness and no recent refurbishment.

KKwok ChungThis is my second time living in this hostel but was in a room of 4 beds this time. The staff is nice and need to bring me to the room everytime as no door card key was given. There is a cabinet in the bed and can put a small luggage in it. You can bring a lock to lock the cabinet. The water is hit enough and the bed is good to sleep. But the sleeping quality depends on how your neighbors sleep. Can't complain at this price. Very good location as many restaurants, bars and Liverpool Lime station nearby

GGuest UserFantastic location.
Faye upgraded our room my son was over the moon with the facilities.
Faye was manager but also front of house.
Faye ordered our taxi straight to Anfield, Faye also gave us the local taxi number.
The room we had the skyliner had a massive bath that needed filling but only by members of staff. I rang at 00:00 and they filled it for our arrival back at the hotel.
Plenty of towels.
Would definitely recommend to families, singles and couples.
