Mahdia Beach & Aqua Park

this is a wonderful place with souls. for holidays with or without children. here you are greeted warmly, fed deliciously, enveloped in care, happy to help and make your stay comfortable, the animators try to give pleasant emotions, the waiters are always polite and courteous, the bartenders will treat you to a delicious cocktail, and the administrator will help solve any problem, tips are welcome here but are not expected them from you for everything they do. the room is clean and comfortable. This is a place for kind and open people, if you are looking for cons in everything, just don’t come here. we and our children were happy all 10 days) there is certainly something to strive for, but the people working here give their all to the guests 100%

We are still here now (leaving early tomorrow morning) and are just gutted to be leaving!! Got off to a rocky start because we brought Scottish notes, unaware that we couldn’t exchange these anywhere. Not the hotels fault at all. Shower was hanging off the wall also, but we didn’t bother mentioning it, as we’d manage to balance it on its hanger. We were placed about 10 minutes walk from reception, which was a tiny bit of a struggle as a plus size lady, but we managed. Anyway, onto the good stuff! The staff here, feel like they’ve become our family, I am so, so sad to be leaving!! MONTA!!!! - The poolside waiter, is by far the best thing about our stay!! He made the best effort to help us with whatever we needed! Tamir - on the indoor bar, goes above and beyond every time! It was a pleasure speaking with you, every time. Iksander (Alexander) - on the pool bar restaurant, thank you so much for telling us this restaurant existed!! I wish this information was made available to us on arrival, food here is so, so much better than the indoor restaurant! The hotel itself, the rooms were quite modern, I genuinely don’t have any complaints. The pool, I was concerned the pool would be too big & I couldn’t keep an eye on my kids, but this wasn’t the case. Although big, I could see them at all times with a bed by the pool. The animation team were absolutely amazing!! Genuinely couldn’t have asked for more from them, my kids were obsessed with them!! Particularly Sam, Maya, Mario, Blacky & Mimi. Constant entertainment from morning until night, the kids were NEVER bored!! Can’t believe the talent they have!! Please, please, please, if you’re gonna tip anybody, please don’t forget the guys who sweep the water off of the poolside!! I genuinely don’t think I ever seen any guest acknowledge these men the whole time I was here. It was a pleasure to give him a tip at the end of our trip and he really seemed surprised & appreciative!!

Stayed here for 1 week from 20th-27th May and overall had an amazing holiday. This is a long review but hopefully will help people. Good points - * Animation team are amazing - Med was great with my son, made us feel very welcome. * Lifeguard - Sofyen was the best - we arrived just after lunch on the Monday and couldn't find any sun loungers - Sofyen walked round the pool to find us beds and brought them over to us - these were our beds for the rest of the week then. *Hotel Rooms - we stayed in 1247 - this was a family room with garden view - whilst it wasn't really a garden view the room was very clean - i didn't get the cleaners name but she worked so hard - we had clean towels daily and the beds were always made and clean. * All of the staff are super friendly - a little tip goes a long way however is not expected. * Onsite shop which is handy if you have forgotten anything. pricing is quite expensive though and the shop on the main road is a lot cheaper. * Pools and Aqua park were very clean and not too busy, i think May was the perfect time to visit *Check in was very easy, our bags were taken to our room by a very nice man, he showed us where things were in the room which was a nice touch * The beach is beautiful of an evening * Water is available in bottles from the main bar in reception - we took a bottle a day and used this for brushing teeth and drinking water in the bedroom - we also took bottled water to the aqua park as this isn't all inclusive and very expensive. *Outdoor snack bar - food is nicer out here than in the buffet restaurant. Walid that works on the poolside served us drinks all day and was very friendly. *Pool towels are available at 10 euros per towel deposit. Bad points - * Poor breakfast choices - if you don't like eggs you might struggle. * Constantly badgered by people trying to sell you stuff, they are in the hotel and around the grounds. you need to be very firm and say no otherwise they will keep pestering. One of the guys got quite rude when we told him we didn't want to do the quad excursion. *Beach - again - people selling stuff ruined our experience - as soon as we entered the wet sand we had stuff wrapped round our heads. all we wanted was to stroll down the beach but this is very hard to do. - tip to all- they are not allowed to pester you on the dry sand... * When we were there towards the end of the week the ques at the bar were very long, sometimes you stood for over half an hour for 1 drink - Tip - give a waiter a small tip - he will jump the que and bring you drinks to the table. Recommendations to the hotel- *Self serve soft drinks and beer - this would be a lot easier for people to not have to que.

We enjoyed the time spent at the Hotel, The staff were all very kind and helpful, especially Salah Farhat who was 5 *. Good food and drinks. Some parts of the Hotel require some renovations but overall it was a nice place. The only negative point was there was only one bar open at night which caused long queues to get drinks.

Currently here right now, where to start. Beach is amazing despite the jelly fish. Food is what you would expect from all inclusive, drinks all local spirits, juice is so sweet it's bitter if that makes sense. Snack bar is best for food Pool towels avaliable 10e to hire Animation isn't too bad they try there best but the shows are pretty tired. Currency can exchange at reception no cash machines on site. Kids mini club always has something to entertain children.

Mahdia beach is the best and beautifulest hotel in tunisis, i recommend for eversone because of the community and also of the animators amd the staff here, they are so kind and sweet. Also they have do good food and the view on the ses is the best. They have sports and fun here also. For me mahdia beach is the best.

Hotel staff were polite, warm and helpful. Moses bar staff around the pool so funny and helpful 10/10 Animation team absolutely fabulous Kaita, Met, Maya and Blacky make this animation team well done Alex for putting a great team together 10/10 they definitely make the hotel. Food was 3/10 tasteless and poor. Activities offered enjoyable boat trip great and we enjoyed the horse riding on the beach. Hotel room we had a newly furbished room but mattress was old and tired. Room cleaning 1/10 absolutely poor.

When do the water parks close for the season amd when do they open them also I want to book family room for 1 adult x2 children but it is only giving me option to book standard double? How can I change this please as I will have to look at a different holiday

We had a fantastic time at this hotel thanks to the staff! Blacky is the best entertainer we’ve ever met, he has such a great personality and was brilliant with all the kids, my three (15B,13G and 4B) loved him and so did me and the wife! That said, the whole entertainment team were great and cannot fault any of them! We also met the best waiter at the poolside bar, if you’re going ask for Monta, he cannot do enough for you and expects nothing in return but please give small tips, trust me they deserve it and it goes a long way! Rooms were clean and hotel has everything you could need, food isn’t great and gets repetitive but the huts and the snack bar are very good. Excursions were fun, we went quad biking and camel riding which were great experiences and break up the holiday, just use the staff to barter for you a bit. Water park and pool were brilliant, night entertainment was ok but I imagine as the seasons get busier the entertainment gets better Overall we absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!!!
