Great location on the ocean and near town, and a bunch of good amenities like seating areas and fire pits. Rooms are a little small, but well designed. We had an issue with service. Most of the staff were very nice, but a few were straight up rude, to the point where other staff apologized for them. We told the manager Stephen some observations and got a weird response. Half way through our stay they took away complimentary coffee in the morning and when I asked why, the manager said because it would be bad for business for their cafe. The restaurant was closed for some days and only open for certain meals on other days, we asked the staff abt its hours and got different answers from them, which was inconvenient because we were relying on it for food. I let the manager know and he said we should of checked the website, which was kind of missing the point. We also let him know the continental breakfast was lacking, as it was just chocolate chip cookies. His response was they couldn’t have breakfast food because of space constraints (?). Reminder to people that the restaurant is closed Tues/Wed, which means you can’t get any food or drink whatsoever at the hotel on those days. So overall good experience, but the service / hospitality was weird / poor enough that we won’t stay again or recommend it to friends.

We came in late on Thursday night so understandably, no one could check us in. Friday and Saturday were our only full days in the hotel. On Friday morning, our toddler was napping so maid service understandably skipped our room. That afternoon, we noticed that the soaps were not refilled and I had to ask the front desk 2-3 times before Michelle finally was able to help me. I felt it was a bit much to have to ask more than twice for soap. On Saturday, our power went out at 9 PM and we tried to contact the front desk and no one responded to the calls or e-mails and this was never addressed either. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay, the location, the professionalism of the staff. Michelle was always the most responsive and kind. The food was great too.

It’s true that the location is very good and we had rooms with a great view, but the fact remains the cost doesn’t match what you get in return, somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. Staff are very young and sometimes a little rough around the edges. Cost of food & drink against what you get is mismatched. They claim to be Eco and Sustainable but give you single use plastic cutlery with papier-mâché bowls etc that everyone dumps in mixed waste bins. How to recycle and where to place separate items was not clear at all. Rooms are a little cramped and basic. So value for money is poor. However location is perfect

Overall this hotel is beautiful, simply designed and has everything you need. The amenities are wonderful, the sleep was perfect and the activities were very nice. It’s great having the option to be poolside or beachside within steps. We visited for a wedding so we didn’t have time to take advantage of everything, but we will certainly be back again to try more.

Amazing location & view. Very comfortable but rather minimalistic rooms. Appreciated the LeLabo toiletries! Heated pool was nice but very small. Love the many places to lounge/ sit/ look at the beach. Also love the evening complementary s'mores by the fire & complementary bike.

Marram exceeded my expectations far beyond!! The staff was so kind and accommodating, making the stay extra comfortable. The property was amazing and loved all of the activities they have for guests. The rooms were so comfortable and loved all of the special details including the le labo products. I could not say enough about this hotel. Perfect location to town and all that Montauk has to offer.

Javier is the best! He was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. It seemed like some of the other front desk staff were not as happy to be there..This hotel is a great location walking / biking distance to town. I loved their complimentary activities like s'mores & bracelet making. The pool was super warm. Beds were very comfortable. I think the rooms could use a rug to make it more cozy vs. concrete floors. Overall a very aesthetic hotel. Would come back.

Nicely landscaped hotel on the ocean. Simple rooms with the bare bones "look" that weren't very big, only had room for beds, no closet, no chairs or tables to sit at, very small balcony, basic bathroom on the smaller side, towels were the typical economy hotel types

I stayed at The Marram for a few nights, in a beach-front room. The décor is simple, cozy and chic. The staff is polite and friendly. It is soothing being there as the landscaping of the resort is one with nature. The wood benches, the white covered outdoor furniture, the ritual of lightening the fire pits every evening by devoted staff. I was there in mid-May and I am sure the vibe of the resort gets more intense and louder with the season as it should.
