Americas Best Value Inn Montezuma

This America’s Best Value Inn in Montezuma Ga. is not worth staying at. Blood was found in one of the beds we were in. The Service was not polite by any standards. When confronted about the blood in the Bed, by the way it was a lot of blood! The Owner/ Manager got upset and was saying it was our fault. We had just gotten there. When the Owner/Manager went to change the sheets, the New Sheets had blood on them, when bringing this to his attention as the bed was being made, he stated that the person talking to him was being confrontational. He was not, he was just showing that there was blood on the new sheets being put on the bed. At this time the Owner/Manager left and called the Local Law Enforcement. The next thing we know, there are 3 Police Cars and 4 officers and the owner/manager stated we had been fighting in the room which was untrue. The only reason we stayed was because we were looking at a 40 acre piece of property that we were thinking of purchasing, and wanted to stay overnight to go back and look it over again before leaving. We spent $84.10 per room. $168.20 for 2 rooms. Spent 2 hours explaining to the Local Law Enforcement there was no fighting, and what the Problem was. At first Law Enforcement advised that leaving was the only option. Long story short. Law Enforcement advised staying was approved. Requested not to go have any further contact with Owner/Manager or any other staff. Bottom Line! When In Montezuma Ga. and Needing To Stay Over Night. Sleep In Your Vehicle. If any way possible. We’d ask for a refund or stop payment for this experience.

I was expecting a run down place but not this run down. The shampoo and conditioner and soap was from other hotels. It said pool and breakfast. Lobby was locked so no breakfast and pool is filled in

The new owners are very friendly and helpful. They are making many improvements to the prpoerty. Rooms have been redecorated and ave very large and clean.

No cleaning services subsequent to first days stay.

I had the worse stay at this Hotel, first of all the lights did not work only one, the shower curtain was nasty, the toilet was not secured down, the room had a odor, I had to spray it down with Lysol, and last there were bed bugs in the bed, I had to sleep in my car until day break, from out of town and this is the worse experience I have ever had at a Hotel, It need to be shut down.

Just a very old Motel that is the owners does not invest any money into it To improve outdated. Old Moggey just nasty.

Motel is owed other than new paint job everything’s the same. Power went off an hour later it wasn’t on went to the front Dess owner was out of town is €13 and 16-year-old children was running the facility ask for a refund so I could go to another Motel that had power they refused said it wasn’t their fault.

Not clean and roaches!!!
