Hotel service is very good, free shuttle bus, the front desk is very nice at the check-in, very patient. Due to the flight, the front desk registered the departure time at check-in, and the car was parked at the hotel door on time. This shuttle bus is opened according to customer needs. The rooms are large and the facilities are complete, that is, the house looks old.

We flew into Montreal and stayed one night at the Fairfield. We were picked up at the airport by a courtesy shuttle bus and within minutes we were at the hotel. Check in was very quick and the staff members were very efficient and friendly. Our room was very spacious and had the comforts of home. After putting our luggage in the room we went to the bar for a drink and were taken back by the price of a bottle of beer $10.00 The morning continental breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of selections. I would highly recommend this hotel and it’s very close to the Dorval Via Train Station.

Disappointing. The hotel amenities state that there is a 24 hour free airport shuttle bus, it does not run 24 hours. We had to pay for a taxi back to the airport. There was a cold water dispenser with lemons in the lobby but it was empty. A coffee machine was provided in the room, however, of the 3 coffee pods one was used and only thin plastic cold beverage cups were provided. The room was big, shows signs of wear but the air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable. The area around the hotel is a typical airport hotel, not much going on.

We stayed in a wonderful king room. It was everything we look for in a hotel room: it was spacious, clean, comfortable, modern, with many flat empty surfaces available - amazing! Its sitting area had a cool couch, with an ottoman and a small table. It was practically set up, with a long counter against a wall, that had a wet bar, small fridge, etc. The bathroom had a good, large walk-in shower. The lobby has a bar/restaurant which serves much appreciated cold beer and very good pizza. The hotel's location, between two important highways and away from any nearby facilities, can be a problem for visitors without a car. A half hour walk brings you to the nearby community, with its buses and amenities. The hotel is also close to the EXO community train network... and of course there are always ubers. If you need to be in the West Island part of Montreal, I would highly recommend this hotel! It was perfect for our needs.

I recently spent a couple nights at the Sheraton Montreal Airport (one night stays on each end of a trip) and while the stays were good overall, I would say there's a lot of opportunity for the hotel to improve. I've stayed here many times over the years, but I haven't been in a couple years. Returning this time, I felt it was a good hotel with a lot of potential. I just got the feeling there is a lack of attention to detail in a lot of areas. The first night I stayed, there was no explanation of the dining situation. The television stated the restaurant and room service was not available. When I went down to the lobby I noticed the restaurant is in fact running. I'm not sure if room service is also open and the information was outdated. The Club lounge was also closed. They do provide soft drinks and complementary sandwiches which is a decent compromise however. There is a beautiful new fitness centre, but it was initially difficult to locate. It would have been nice that its location was explained when checking in and better signage. After walking around I finally asked a cleaner for its location and eventually found it. The machines don't seem to have television or anything hooked up to them which would be a welcome addition if possible. Overall this is a good hotel with a lot of potential. It felt like things got shut down due to Covid and just never really restarted. While other hotels have made the move back to normalcy, this one still felt like it was in transition. The staff were friendly and the facilities are clean. Some of the furniture is probably due to be replaced, but again we are talking minor improvements. I would return to this hotel, I just hope to see more things back to normal and better communication. Not having room service is a big problem.
