"The outdoor facilities are great for kids; mine loved the paddle boats and trampolines. Right next door, there's a small animal petting zoo with meerkats, capybaras, giant tortoises, alpacas, and more. They're absolutely adorable! You can get up close to pet and feed them. The capybara-themed shaved ice and chocolate egg waffles at the snack bar were also super cute and delicious.
However, there were a few downsides. The bathroom in our room was spacious but didn't have a door, which felt a bit odd. The soundproofing wasn't great; we could clearly hear people talking loudly outside. Additionally, one of the bed frames creaked whenever we moved, and the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. It would be much better if these issues were addressed.
On a positive note, breakfast was pretty good, and it was served as individual portions."

GGuest UserThe host Chris made us felt very welcomed with his selfless travel tips, scrumptious breakfasts, handwritten messages and exquisitely furnished accommodation. He even went the extra mile to review our itinerary for a better route or arrangement! He's highly responsive to our questions when we were outside, including helping us to arrange rides. There are also intimate small devices in the homestay, such as hot water in the room, and help to send postcards!

SSH.twYou can park at the door, the overall environment is comfortable and clean, the boss and the proprietress are very kind, there are welcome afternoon teas and unlimited bottled drinks 👍 The location of the homestay is also very close to the Dongshan Night Market, quiet and not noisy at night.
The small disadvantage is that the curtains in the room are not shaded, they will be awakened in the morning, and the mirror only has a sink. It is a bit inconvenient to make up when the lighting is insufficient. Others really don't have to be picky 👍👍

WWes NienThe boss and his wife are very enthusiastic and carefully decorated the homestay. The environment is elegant and there are quite a lot of plants planted. The breakfast is rich and delicious. There is a friendly cat, which is very nice. It is worth coming again.

VVNFYu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point.
I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious.
Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison.
If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

SsengThe landlord’s wife is very warm and kind, and there is a pair of cute Awang dogs. As soon as I entered the room, the view was beautiful, and the whole glass was really comfortable and healing to see the field.

The guesthouse boasts a clean courtyard with birdsong and fragrant flowers, where you can walk barefoot on the grass. The vegetable garden offers a wide variety of fruit trees. The indoor lobby is bright and features a rich selection of rare and exotic fruits. The rooms are spacious with clean floors and bright windows. The small balcony in the room is perfect for small gatherings. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet and is of a suitable size. Breakfast uses local and homegrown ingredients, and the delicious breakfast dishes highlight the owner's dedication. Upon check-out, you'll receive a natural cypress sachet, leaving a pleasant fragrance on your return journey.

AAnonymous UserThis time, I chose the Lanyang Wushih Harbor Sea View Hotel, which offers a more upscale experience. It’s a boutique hotel, small but exquisitely charming. The staff were friendly and warm, making us feel right at home with their welcoming reception and guidance. The reservations team thoughtfully arranged for our family to be on the same floor (we booked two double rooms, which are usually on different floors), which was a delightful and considerate surprise. This made it much easier for us to look after other family members traveling with us. For our elderly relatives' room, they even kindly provided a shower chair, ensuring they could enjoy a comfortable and safe shower.
However, regarding breakfast, while there was a wide variety, a slight drawback was the lack of freshly prepared, custom-made dishes. There wasn't even a chef to make omelets or fried eggs. For a four-star hotel, this aspect of the dining was a bit disappointing, and I offer this as feedback for the restaurant. Overall though, we had a very pleasant stay! 😘

GGuest UserThis time because I saw the hotel photos quite attractive to try, but feel that the picture is not quite in line with a little disappointed soundproofing poor I live on the 2nd floor, upstairs the sound of boiling water can hear 😔 downstairs someone talking and heard breakfast included but can not go It's better to sleep a little longer, the location is not good and there is nothing around. Even the taxi driver does not know where it is😣

BBobpetersHappy to have had the hotel save me from cycling another 2 hours through the dark. Easy to find, many rooms available. Nice receipt from the owner and happy they had cloths washing and drying fascilities. Stored my bicycle in the room which wasn’t appreciated by the owner as he was worried for making his bed sheets dirty. As he couldn’t reach out to me he switched off the A/C. That’s a complete no-go and totally against any hospitality rules. I stay 209+ days a year in hotels and never ever have I had such a treatment. Anyways, was dissolved quickly but hope the owner can change his attitude to other travellers. Apart from that the bed is hard and the A/C works good. Loads of blouse form the neighbour on the next morning.
