We grabbed a few days here before the new UK quarantine regulations for Italy. We played golf every day (one day at Circolo doe Golf Ugolino in Florence). The course was wet underfoot but beautiful and still a joy to play. Small world - the golf professional grew up on my street and went to the same school as me! The reception at the hotel were most welcoming. A dinner a La Voliera (the hotel restaurant) was excellent. The spa wasn't open (COVID-19) and the outdoor pool closed (October) but it didn't matter for us. The room was comfortable and good value. Breakfast was also very good and the staff were charming and interested. It is an amazing setting as it was originally a medieval hamlet.

A very atmospheric hotel with a cool courtyard, very atmospheric stairs, and unexpected paintings on the walls) From our room you can see the fantastic Tuscan scenery and the wonderful sunset (No. 132). The room itself is very clean and the bathroom is also very clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well! The cool ”icon” above the bed, painted on the tiles Breakfast is great (various cuts, fruits, rolls, toast, jam, etc.) + custom-made coffee. This is not in-room coffee and croissant breakfast. The staff responded quickly and answered all questions without any problems. Summary: I would love to return to this hotel

When you go to Italy you go for the culture, the food, the beauty, and the experience. This hotel gives you all of these in spades. It is set on a magnificent property that seems to go forever. The staff is superb. We have traveled the world, and Michelle is one of the best concierge we have ever met. She is multitasking in a way not humanly possible and supports each task with politeness and thoroughness. The owners are so lucky to have her. Giovanni is a great chef. We took a cooking class with him and learned so much. It was fun and educational and eating our creations was so satisfying. We had the tasting menu one night, and it was phenomenal. The staff along with Agatha’s help made you feel special. And Gabriel is a fantastic bartender. Everyone else smiled and was helpful and wanted us to enjoy our stay. We did for sure. I do not know if we will make it back to this part of Italy again. But if we do, there is no doubt we will stay here again.

When I took the room, I said that I didn't find the order, and I took a long time to get the room. Driving is ok, parking is free and the room is too old. No quilt. Only one can be covered like a sheet. Asked the waiter to give the quilt, and gave two very shabby blankets. . . About 2 kilometers from the city, on the top of the mountain. The price is very poor

The location of the hotel was fantastic with a 10 minute walk straight into the middle of Siena. The staff at the hotel were brilliant, especially our new friend Lucio who was informative and couldn’t do enough to make our stay pleasurable. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The view from the garden overlooking the Tuscan rolling hills was a great setting for both breakfast and an evening beverage (provided by the in house bar). My family and I would highly recommend this hotel based on location and quality of the service provided. We will for definite stay again!!

The hotel is located just two steps from the Duomo and very close to Piazza del Campo, which offers the same services as a 5-star hotel! With my daughter we have made two nights in a spacious room with two single beds (as requested by us), TV, safe, essential furniture; comfortable bathroom with shower and maximum cleaning. The structure is managed by the efficient and sympathetic Joy, always available. We have found ourselves really good and we think we will come back as soon as the opportunity comes.
