Eix Lagotel Holiday Resort

The staff are freindly, but house keeping leave alot to be desired, had to go to re eption twice whilst on holiday to let them know cleaners hadn't been in and to get fresh towels.Breakfast is good but dinner not the best,same sort of food every day, if you want a drink even water at dinner they charge it to your room or you pay for it at that time. It's quite a walk to the nearest shops although there is a shuttle bus that runs from Sunday to Fri free ,which is good.

Travelled with wife & baby (8 months old), stayed for 10 days. 1. Rooms The room was adequate for what we needed, it had a fridge with a small built in freezer. It wasn't perfect, there was scrapes, chips, mould in bathroom round grouting etc but it was cleaned daily (apart from 1 day for some reason) and fresh towels were given when needed. It did need a freshen up, it smelt abit musky, and could have done with a fresh lick of paint. We were Lake facing, the balcony wasn't very private, and was a little dirty on the floor, we also suffered with mosquitos so didn't use it as much as we had liked. We had no air conditioning for 7 days, and really struggled with our baby. We asked at reception multiple times and eventually they mentioned the whole air-con in the hotel was faulty (for two days apparently) and all they could offer us was a fan, which we had to pay a €10 deposit for. Luckily we took our own travel fan, so that saved us! Reception wasn't helpful with the situation and it was a struggle for us with keeping baby cool. 2. Food We originally booked B&B only and breakfast was OK. As my wife is a vegetarian however, she struggled for anything hot at breakfast, other than beans and egg. As it was due to rain for our first 2 days (and realising there is not much around) we upgraded to all inclusive so we didn't have to worry about the cost of drinks. This cost €37 per person, per day with a €100 deposit which was refunded when we returned our all inclusive band. The band was given on a 24 hour basis (not daily) and had to be purchased for a minimum of 3 days. We did get our money worth in drinks, but the food was terrible for lunch / dinner in the main restaurant (in our opinion) nothing was named, there was alot of fish each day, salad was always the same, deserts were nice (especially coffee icecream) we found it better in the pool bar serving pizza / burgers etc until 4pm. Again, as a veggie my wife’s options were pasta and tomato sauce for both lunch & dinner each day. Drinks were 2 drinks per person at a time, selection of cocktails were ok, not the best but they did not scrimp on the alcohol! I have to say we were looking forward to the all inclusive ending and venturing out to eat. 3. Pool Pool area was lovely, and we could always get a sunbed. It was great the pool didn't open till 10am (gates locked) so sun bed reserving was not possible. We needed a chair with parasol for baby and could always find one. Life guard is absolutely lovely and he really made a fuss of our baby. The area was clean and the pool was clean. The only problem was all the pool area allowed smoking and as non smokers with a baby, this was a problem for us. There should have been allocated smoking / none smoking areas. We didn't venture to the adults only pool as we had baby, but a family we met said they had been using that pool until suddenly it became a teenager, smoking, loud nightmare. All the staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. Food is great and cleaners do an excellent job . Wonderful entertainment, lovey pools . Great hotel to go all inclusive . Ideal location by the side of the lake and overlooking the nature park….only downside is the mosquitoes that love the visitors so make sure you pack the repellent and bite cream !!

My first time staying at this hotel, I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was spacious and clean, location ideal. I stayed bed and breakfast so can only comment on the breakfast which was nice and plenty of options. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the adults only pool is lovely and chilled. Only downside for me and probably the reason I won't return is the noise on an evening from the entertainment, it was unbearably loud at times. This hotel would be ideal for families but not so much for me as a solo traveller.

Great hotel, staff helpful and pleasant . Hotel is kept very clean . The food was lovely , always something to eat and very nice. They had themed nights which was a nice touch . Lots of fish , which I’m not a fan of but it’s a Mediterranean country and that’s what they eat a lot of and when on holiday just go with the flow , you can’t expect home from home cooking when on holiday and I never went hungry , far from it, so hats off to the chefs and hotel for making sure there was something for everyone. Our room was lovely , overlooking the pool , daily maid service . This was our 2nd time at this hotel and will definitely return . I have to give a massive shout out to Sofia the entertainment girl , she was amazing , kind and helpful . I’m disabled and she went all out to make sure I had a great time which I did, I joined in all the games , even won one , she danced with me and just made me feel so part of everything , so a huge thankyou Sofia . Yes it could get a bit noisy after the shows but people are on holiday , so it’s expected in my opinion but it calms down quite quickly . Overall I cannot fault this place and will return very soon .

Lovely hotel. Clean, well kept. Staff are AMAZING!! So helpful, friendly, especially the best life guard, Manuel and the kids club team are just wonderful. We booked bed and breakfast, so I can’t say what the all inclusive meals are like, breakfast is okay. There’s plenty of choice. Short walk to the most beautiful beach but there’s a shuttle service if you’d prefer. The location itself is a short taxi ride away from Alcúdia where there are loads of restaurants. Despite not being in the middle of Alcúdia, I would definitely come back.

Positives. Location is great with easy shuttle bus access to the beach. Down there alcudia etc is easily accessed with regular buses. The rooms are good and the hotel is very clean. Entertainment was of a high standard. Staff were very friendly. Pools were good with both family and adult only. Improvements. We were bed and breakfast only and there was a good variety but the hot items were a bit disappointing. The rooms could do with a kettle as I missed a cup of tea at times. Tips Do Not forget mosquito repellent. Best restaurants were in Alcudia old town and port. Don't forget the tourist tax. The best bars are at Alcudia port and beach. Would recommend this hotel.
