"The hotel is old, but the cleanliness is guaranteed. The breakfast room is small and is located in the lobby. Overall, it is OK. Maybe there are more people coming to Nagano in winter, so the reception capacity is limited. I personally think the price is a bit high."

"I was happy with breakfast and welcome drinks. Women don't have to say if they have a large bath. However, it is a pity that I could hear footsteps several times from above in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep well. Thank you."

"Location is excellent. There's direct link bridge between the hotel and the Nagano station. So it's very easy to get to the train station with our luggage. We only stayed one night and Nagano is only our transit stop to other attractions. So we didn't manage to see much in Nagano. But we did notice that there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Staffs are friendly but some don't speak much English."

"They have a pocketgo so translating to your own language is hassle-free. Also the staff were very accommodating. The food was sooooo good. めちゃくちゃ美味しかった! And the room I was in overlooked the beautiful mountains so every morning was bliss!"

"Great location which is easy to find and quiet to stay! We have the 3 beds family room, which is very large enough to accompany all our suitcases! It is the biggest room I have ever stayed in Japan!!! A bad thing is the washroom is small, and smelly. Also the hotel cannot keep baggage after check out. I will stay again if I come to Nagano again!"

"Room was extremely worth it's pricing with the cleanliness and you could feel the exquisiteness of the hotel from entering through the main doors all the way to your room. Walking distance to multiple interesting areas such as Zenkoji Temple and very pretty eateries around the area. 1 extremely disturbing thing was whereby 1 of the huge mirrors by the make up table was right infront of our beds which made my family and I have a paranoid night stay. Other wise everything was top tier!"

"Great place to stay! Perfect location and convenient to have food and very near to the station. The bunk bed is also comfortable and perfect for solo travelers. Friendly for ladies too with ladies-only shower room in dormitory."

"1) Location: Get off at Zhongshe and walk about 3-400 meters. You can reach it in a straight line. 2) Hotel: Decorated in the 1980s-1990s, there is no heating in the corridor, but there is heating in the room, and the temperature is suitable. There is no bathing in the hotel. The hot spring is in a large covered tub. There is no heating in the shower room and toilet. 3) Meals: You can order them at the hotel. The boss’s skills are pretty good and delicious, but not very cheap. [Five-star recommendation] Try to avoid bringing a trolley suitcase in winter. The road is too difficult to walk. It is uphill to get to the hotel. I arrived at night and fell a few times. It was too painful."

"The room was very clean and quite spacious, especially for a Japanese hotel. Even during our two-night stay, when we opted out of daily housekeeping, they still kindly provided fresh towels and linens. I managed to leave my room key in the room twice, but the staff at the front desk were always very helpful and promptly issued a replacement."

"Great location, within 5-10 minutes walk from Nagano Train Station. Good amenities and service provided by the hotel. Friendly and professional hotel staff. Laundry room has 3 washing machines and 3 dryers that work well. Reception staff can provide change of 100yen coins for the laundry machines."
