"Our car was stuck outside of the hotel due to heavy snow, one of the hotel staff was extremely helpful to clear snow on the road and helped us drive the car back to the hotel, we were so grateful for his help otherwise we dunno how long would it take for us to make the car move again. He was so worry about us as there were also heavy snow on our departure day, he escorted us down to the mountain to make sure we are safe. All of the staff were so nice, food was fantastic! Probably one of the best hotel experience we have ever had. We reli enjoy the time there!"
"Excellent food (breakfast and dinner, be sure to be hungry to enjoy fully). The onsen is the most beautiful and relaxing we ever had so far, especially under the snow today.
Staff is nice and helpful.
No regrets in choosing this hotel during our trip in the Japanese Alps"
"Hotel room is pretty decent, however there is only public toilet and bathroom. The microwave is not as clean as it should be. Ryokan is actually pretty far to walk from the station, and does not have convenience store or much restaurant nearby. However, it can be a pretty good pit-stop for backpackers/long distance trekkers to rest in. I will recommend people who is visiting this ryokan to either use the bus service(apparently there is a bus to and from the ryokan to the station), or to drive in. Prepare food in advance if you did not reserve an meal. Peaceful place to chill in tho :)"

"We got there by hotel bus from the train station. The bus doesn't stay at the station for long and doesn't wait for anyone. Unfortunately, there is a construction site on the embankment opposite the hotel, so the view from the window was not satisfactory. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the onsen is interesting, but tired. The breakfast is good.
There was access to the ”water park” in the neighboring building (passage through the 2nd floor). The pools are about 1 m. There is one slide. Not bad for a family vacation, but for adults it will be just not bad."

"Hotel conveniently located along the Nakasendo trail close to historical machiya within Nakatsugawa and now too far from the train station. Bus stop to Magome 5 is minutes away. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Great overall hotel and neighborhood atmosphere for both the packpackers and regular travelers.
Great hotel, very clean and contemporary, great design. Great amenities such as the public bath and eating area. Great buffet breakfast every morning, mostly japanese food that we enjoyed but also with croissants and chocolatines. Friendly and dynamic young staff. The only downside : the smoking room on the second floor (where our room was) that we could smell from the corridor and had to pass by everytime we used the elevator...
Nice family room that we used as a couple. Bunk beds to japanese standards, so walking underneath required bowing each time in my case."
"I used it at the training camp of the university circle! !! I was very satisfied with the barbecue! The facilities were interesting and we all explored it! !! I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity!"
