Booked this hotel as I had an morning flight from Pudong and the availability of an airport shuttle had caught my eye. Everything was exactly what was needed. Taking advantage of the good weather, the whole family booked the Garden Hotel. It happened to be a day when the hotel was fully booked. Hearing that there was an exhibition, an elderly person in the family, who was over 90 years old, sat on the sofa in the lobby for a long time, waiting to check in. At this time, the manager Jamie came up to ask us. Knowing that there were elderly people, he personally helped us to check in at the back office, reducing our waiting time. After that, he also helped us book afternoon tea and the Chinese restaurant in the evening. Special thanks to Jamie for his help, which made us feel that the service of your hotel is particularly humane and thoughtful. The environment of the hotel is really good, and the family is very satisfied and happy. The whole family will stay here again if there is a chance.

I came to Shanghai for a short trip. Atour also lived a few times before. This time I went to Disney, so I specially chose a hotel that was closer. We booked two rooms, never expected to wait for me to get up at 5:30 in the morning, the door of the hotel room temporarily came out and couldn't be opened. No matter how to swipe the card, there was no response. As soon as the front desk staff came over, the question was whether it was locked inside. Are all the people out and there is still a lock situation? It took 20 minutes to delay, and we also specially bought the park's early enjoyment card, which was really anxious. Finally, the front desk ended the two-day breakfast for the staff in this room, (you need to apply to the above) and the friend of the other room who went to the other room could not compensate by the way. In fact, we left early the next day for this breakfast and didn't eat it. Disney is worth a visit!

I stayed at this hotel several years ago and it was always clean, fun and very cost-effective. In addition to the children's paradise on the first floor, there are also birds and cats. Because I am an old customer, the front desk also upgraded my room to a room with the same bunk bed and an additional single bed. The window has good light and the sun shines on the big bed. The sheets and bathroom are all clean and tidy. This family room is suitable for a family of four traveling. It is recommended to stay here when visiting Disney Chuansha. The elevator only goes to card swiping floors, so it's safe and secure. The breakfast is average and worthy of the price.

Temporary intention, in the bubble hotel around Shanghai, the children wanted to soak, so they found this one. The hotel is relatively new, the room is good and quite big, because there are guests who can soak in the soup, there are not many people, so in the afternoon it became a ”private soup” for the mother and daughter. The water was clean and the water temperature was hot. The young lady at the front desk was very nice, patiently helped the children to put on the kimono, and the children had various concave shapes, which were beautiful. The hotel is right next to the ancient town of Chuansha, where you can go shopping and eat.

We were upgraded from a family room for 3 into another with bigger beds and a hall by the super friendly reception because they said we 3 adults might find the family room we booked a wee bit squeezy. From the initial arrival tea to the considerate upgrade to information on shuttle service times to the airport to the tourist information on subway travel - the reception team has been exemplary. We also appreciated the breakfast selection - I normally eat fruit and grains/muesli with coffee - they have a good coffee machine which ground coffee for our drink. There is milk snd soy milk. No muesli - so I had a lovely porridge of red bean, big barley and millet - all healthy and comforting to the stomach. They have cornflakes but why select processed food over natural grains !?! Fruit was a big red dragon fruit with yoghurt. There is a choice of fried egg or hard boiled egg. Overall, its easy to adapt their selections for a healthier breakfast. The hotel is close to Subway Line 2 which goes direct to Pudong Airport and The Bund and financial district Lujiazui.

When you are spending a LOT of money on one night in a special inn in the beautiful Connecticut countryside, you expect excellent service. And you hope for a relaxing night with no stress. Unfortunately, on our first visit to the Mayflower Inn, we did not receive it. Upon arriving and checking in we were told we were in a building across the street. The staff member offered to walk us across but as we only had two small bags and didn't need help, we asked which building? She pointed to the one on the left. We walked up (in snow and wind) and could not find Room 10 anywhere. My spouse walked back down to the front desk and asked for better directions to Room 10. The clerk said, ”oh! You haven't been to your room yet? Did you go down to the basement?” Obviously not. Another staff member then pointed out the correct building, on the right and we were able to access our room. Room 10 is two rooms, a large living area with fireplace and large bedroom with fireplace. Two large bathrooms and a patio complete the space. Very pretty decorations and comfortable. Odd placement of the TV, not over the FP in front of the sofa. You have to turn and align to the left to watch it. We were very off put by the large beetle in one toilet. We couldn't figure out how it got there until the next morning when we saw a swarm of lady bugs on the curtain next to the toilet. Eww. We dined at the Inn and had a lovely experience. However, we were quickly brought back down to earth, when we walked up to our room (on a path only partially cleared of ice and snow) to find our room key did not work! Note: they are very proud to explain the keys have no numbers on them for security reasons. My spouse trudged back down to the front desk, they gave him another key-he walked back through the cold...and new key also does not work. At the point we are irritated and cold. We call the front desk and they promise to send someone. it was about 25 minutes of being unable to gain access to our room before a maintenance man was able to unlock the door. The next day they delivered a key to the spa while we worked out. We had to laugh when that key didn't work either! You would think for $1800 for one night, service would be top notch and bend over backwards to ensure your stay is excellent. They didn't. We even explained our displeasure at the key situation and received a shoulder shrug in response. We work hard for our money and really had been looking forward to a stress-free stay. We did not get it. Overall not impressed with the Mayflower Inn and certainly don't consider it a 5 star hotel.

The new manager, who said he was just in from Los Angeles was fantastic.. I know his name but don't want to spell it wrong.. but he was the most friendly person I've met. He had nothing in mind but our satisfaction. He is truly an asset to your company, and the reason I would come back to LaQuinta in Danbury.. kudos to him and this staff. Also the room attendants were marvelous. they were prompt and courteous regarding when to come in and clean and when they did it was a through cleaning.. clean sheets every day! Who does that these days.. in the last hotel we stayed at a month ago in the same city, we had to leave towels in a bag hanging from the doorknob.. not here.. came in every day and replaced anything we needed.. no questions asked.. all I think of a marvelous General Manager of the hotel. The food in the morning was excellent.. great variety.. good coffee, and a wonderful lady who took care of it all and if it was close to closing the food time and you came down, she insisted to go and get what you wanted and she waited.. again, who gives service like that now.. When you are spending a LOT of money on one night in a special inn in the beautiful Connecticut countryside, you expect excellent service. And you hope for a relaxing night with no stress. Unfortunately, on our first visit to the Mayflower Inn, we did not receive it. Upon arriving and checking in we were told we were in a building across the street. The staff member offered to walk us across but as we only had two small bags and didn't need help, we asked which building? She pointed to the one on the left. We walked up (in snow and wind) and could not find Room 10 anywhere. My spouse walked back down to the front desk and asked for better directions to Room 10. The clerk said, ”oh! You haven't been to your room yet? Did you go down to the basement?” Obviously not. Another staff member then pointed out the correct building, on the right and we were able to access our room. Room 10 is two rooms, a large living area with fireplace and large bedroom with fireplace. Two large bathrooms and a patio complete the space. Very pretty decorations and comfortable. Odd placement of the TV, not over the FP in front of the sofa. You have to turn and align to the left to watch it. We were very off put by the large beetle in one toilet. We couldn't figure out how it got there until the next morning when we saw a swarm of lady bugs on the curtain next to the toilet. Eww. We dined at the Inn and had a lovely experience. However, we were quickly brought back down to earth, when we walked up to our room (on a path only partially cleared of ice and snow) to find our room key did not work! Note: they are very proud to explain the keys have no numbers on them for security reasons. My spouse trudged back down to the front desk, they gave him another key-he walked back through the cold...and new key also does not work. At the point we are irritated and cold. We call the front desk and they promise to send someone. it was about 25 minutes of being unable to gain access to our room before a maintenance man was able to unlock the door. The next day they delivered a key to the spa while we worked out. We had to laugh when that key didn't work either! You would think for $1800 for one night, service would be top notch and bend over backwards to ensure your stay is excellent. They didn't. We even explained our displeasure at the key situation and received a shoulder shrug in response. We work hard for our money and really had been looking forward to a stress-free stay. We did not get it. Overall not impressed with the Mayflower Inn and certainly don't consider it a 5 star hotel.
