Moxy New Orleans Downtown/French Quarter Area

The hotel was very clean and located within in 5 minutes walking from Canal street and Bourbon. Check was friendly and quick our room was very cute and clean.

Good location. Room is good sized and clean. Nice bar downstairs, happened to run into a live performance!

I enjoyed my time and had a good trip and this hotel was nice and everything was clean except the front desk was slow and they messed up my room twice

I had the best time at this hotel. Everyone was really nice. Even though I was stuck here during Hurricane I still had a great time at this hotel.

Decent place to stay... Parking was the only issue

We’ve had positive experiences with other Moxy properties before but after this trip we won’t be returning. The trip started out fine enough, the rooms are modern and average sized. We had issues getting hot water almost every shower and when we did get it, it did not last long. While that is a minor inconvenience I’m not sure it would have warranted a negative review. Things took a turn for the worse on our second day. We left our room around 10am and returned 12 hours later to find the deadbolt turned and our door propped open. We panicked as we had our passports and other valuables in our room and there is no safe provided. It appears when our room was serviced in the morning the cleaner did not secure the door, so we have no idea if people entered and touched our belongings. When we informed the front desk, they asked if we wanted to get new keys for the room… not sure how that addresses the issue. They also said they had never heard of that happening and didn't offer much explanation or an apology. When we reached out to their corporate office they were similarly unhelpful. I’m not really sure what the “right” thing to do in this scenario, but if that’s a situation that is as uncomfortable for you as it was for us I would not recommend staying here.

Stay was ok. The bedding was dirty when we got there and has someone's eyelashes and makeup on the blanket tucked into it, which shows that the bedding wasn't washed in between guests. So we were pretty disappointed upon arrival! Room was really kinda small and the bathroom was tiny!

I love the mosh it has a certain vibe that makes me want to book and stay but this was 50/50 for me. The people who worked there were friendly but I didn’t have hot water for 2 days , WiFi didn’t work ,and room needed better cleaning.
