Four Points by Sheraton New York Downtown Reviews

Staff were very friendly. The Hotel is in a good location nearby the subway we got a free upgrade. Good value. Complementary tea and coffee in the morning. Near lots of restaurants and cafés.

The bedding in the room was incredibly comfortable, absolutely top-notch! It rivaled that of high-end luxury hotels. There was a coffee machine that could also boil water (single-serving size). The room was a bit small, but the bathroom was quite large. You couldn't open two suitcases simultaneously. The front desk and cleaning staff were very efficient. It could get a bit noisy on weekend nights due to people drinking nearby. However, there are plenty of shops and supermarkets in the vicinity, and the ferry and subway are within walking distance. In the mornings, the lobby offered coffee and hot water, perfect for making tea.

The room amenities were very basic; no toothbrush or toothpaste (which I didn't expect anyway), and not even a pair of slippers. In the middle of the night, I heard someone speaking very loudly in the hallway, which scared my daughter, but the phone was broken, so I couldn't call the front desk. Also, the air conditioning unit outside was incredibly loud. There were also hairs from previous guests on the bed, making me seriously doubt if the sheets had been changed.

Hot water from tap and shower comes out milky and smells a little weird, bed had a piece of metal sticking out (in the photo) , really easy to kick it while in the dark. I got myself a pretty bad bruise from it so be careful if you get room 408. I wouldve called front desk about these issues but the phone in the room didnt work either. On the plus side, staff are pretty nice. Fridges are also available on request.

The location is good, but the twin room I booked was a bit cramped. The air conditioning unit in the room was really noisy! I guess that's to be expected in such a prime location. The guy at the front desk, who wore glasses, was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was also nice. However, for a Four Points hotel, considering the price, I felt it was a bit overpriced.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere by subway. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. It's an easy walk to Wall Street and the 9/11 National Memorial. However, the in-room air conditioning unit turned on and off intermittently and was very noisy when it did. Also, the control panel for the showerhead, attached to the wall, was loose.

The room was a bit small, and the facilities were just average. I wouldn't book it a second time.

This hotel is located in Manhattan's business district, making it incredibly convenient to walk to the 9/11 Museum, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty ferry, Trinity Church, and the Wall Street area. It's also very close to the subway station for trips uptown. There's a supermarket and restaurants nearby, so all amenities are readily available.

The location is excellent and the room condition is good. However, there's no refrigerator in the room. I requested one and was told they'd bring it, but nothing happened.

The rooms are a bit dated, but the location is great and the service is good.

Stayed here with a friend and had the BEST sleep. The front desk employee was also exceptionally kind. I plan on visiting this hotel again. 10/10 Good location too!

Great location, Service was exceptional especially from all the staff at the receptions. Free waters, ice machine and minute walk away from Fulton st metro which is main metro stops for majority of the metro line including JFK lines. Walking distance to WTC, Brooklyn bridge and Chinatown

The bedding was comfortable, and the location was great, not far from the subway station. It was also a short walk to Wall Street and the Brooklyn Bridge. Excellent value for money.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was quick and easy to check in. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had everything I needed for getting ready and showering. The hotel also has good restaurants in it. Highkey has a lovely brunch and good drinks. The staff here are kind and helpful. The location is fantastic. It's a short walk from the subway, and there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, some of which are very affordable.
